A Fantastically well preserved Mosaic! One of the most beautiful mosaics in Israel (and probably in the World as well). Almost all the floor of this ancient synagogue is filled by mosaic and this one in its center. Ask the attendant to show you the multimedia show, it is worth of our time and ou will know all about this synagogue. Especially interesting for your kids. Strongly recommended if you pass by this site.

Very nice old Jewish synagogue with a great story behind it. And an amazing old floor with famous biblical stories. The place also offers an English-speaking video with lights the full story presented in a dramatic and surprising way

15 minutes of film brought visitors to ancient times. A little аrchaeological site, but a big impression!

It's very nice, but small. It has huge importance to the jewish heritage in the area , but that one room, with that mediocre mosaic will be interesting for 30 minutes - at best. Not sure if it worth the trip, but if you're in the area, give it a try.

The mosaic floor is in astonishingly good shape. The artistic elements are quirky, but interesting history, assisted by a short film well coordinated with synchronized lighting of varying parts of the floor. The film offers an explanation for the non-standard Byzantine elements in the floor that reflects some supposition of real-world circumstances. But even if the mosaic were not your focus, it's worth having lunch at the adjacent restaurant. There is an unpretentious charm to this former kibbutz bakery space, but the menu is surprisingly intriguing, and it doesn't disappoint. Our group ordered a variety of fish dishes and they all were wonderfully prepared, some traditional, some more ambitious, but all delicious. The salad with Halloumi cheese had a sweet crisp citrus dressing that I will remember fondly whenever I recall this visit.

This was very interesting. Don't expect to see much. The only thing to see is the mosaic floor of the ancient synagogue. There is a movie that tells the story of building the synagogue. Different sections of the floor are highlighted to coordinate with the parts of the movie that explain what they are. The mosaic floor is awesome to see. I recommend visiting this ancient site
