Within the national park includes the remains of two ancient cities Maresha and Bet Guvrin.
The park is famous for fascinating caves dug for various purposes- cisterns, storage rooms, shelters for doves, stables, burials, olive presses....
In the main park, there are 4 parking lots and the caves are accessible by walking.
Of all the caves, we liked the maze cave (which is bit of maze) with lot of steps (physically tiring) and the bell caves.
If you have a vehicle, it takes 2-3 hrs to complete the park and there are drinking water taps at few places.
Definitely recommended to observe our ancient human settlement.
Only very few sites are accessible for disabled or with stroller - Bell caves is one of them.
Tip: Get the brochure without fail to get to know the details and route.
