Highly Recommended Authentic Experience Beit Toureef is a truly special place! The location is amazing, the rooms are authentic and beautifully done, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. The owner is very involved and supportive, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and authentic experience in Lebanon. One thing to note: most of the staff are not local Lebanese, which doesn’t fully match the authentic story and concept of the hotel.

Excellent hotel in a great area. Room was very comfortable and clean. They organized airport transfer that went smoothly with fair price! Breakfast was fantastic usually starts at 9am but they accommodated my early departure. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

This was an absolutely incredible stay. The staff makes you feel at home, the rooms are quaint, and it is in the best area of Beirut. The hotel focuses on sourcing ingredients from the rural areas of Lebanon and it shows in the quality of food. Highly recommend staying here when visiting.

I visited Beit Toureef for the first time to try the food, and I was more than impressed! The flavors were spot on, and the cozy setting; especially around sunset; made the experience even better. We ordered tabbouleh, hummus, chicken rolls with sumac, and kebbe. Everything was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality. Even their rooms felt so cozy and peaceful that I’m seriously thinking of booking a stay there next time I visit Lebanon. If you love to experience more; then ask about the different services they provide. I’d definitely recommend it! Hopefully next time I’ll get to try their rooftop too. I forgot to take photos during the meal, but I snapped a picture of the place while passing by the next day! And the best thing that it is in Gemmayze main road! So everything is close.

Everything was perfect. The hotel has a unique charm, blending traditional Lebanese hospitality with modern comfort. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, making it a relaxing retreat in the heart of the city. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was truly special an authentic village style spread that took me back to the roots of Lebanese cuisine. Fresh eggs, homemade jam, and keshk made for a hearty and flavorful start to the day. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the simplicity and quality made it unforgettable. The location is unbeatable right in Gemmayze, surrounded by the lively culture of Beirut with cafes, art galleries, and nightlife just steps away. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly added to the overall experience.

Amazing hotel located in a lively part of Beirut. Rooms - Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated - There is air conditioning - Rooms have their own private bathrooms but it's completely open concept (i.e., no door or even curtain covering the shower or toilet). No issue at all if you're travelling alone, but something you may want to consider if you're sharing a room with someone you're not THAT close with. - There isn't much in the way of soundproofing, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs and a white noise machine WiFi - Good, stable 24/7 connection throughout the hotel Staff - Incredibly friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to provide excellent service. They speak English as well. - The hotel is also responsive through email and WhatsApp Breakfast - Amazing. They serve traditional food and the pita is made fresh on site. Seriously delicious. Location - The hotel is located in a lively part of the city, with several bars and restaurants within walking distance Check-in/Check-out - Very easy. I did have a slight issue with their system not showing that I had already paid, but this was quickly and easily resolved when I produced proof of payment. - Credit cards are accepted - Front desk is not staffed 24/7. I didn't find this to be an issue, but something to bear in mind if it's important for you. Other: - The hotel can easily arrange for a taxi - including airport drop-off/pick-up. For airport pickup, just email them a few days before your arrival and they can make the arrangement - There didn't seem to be a lift, but that was never an issue as there's almost always someone around to help you with your luggage - They have a rooftop bar! The food and drink are amazing Overall, I enjoyed my time at Beit Toureef and would definitely stay here again.

We had breakfast at Beit Toureef and it was an absolute delight. We ordered foul medamas, fatteh hommos, cheese & zaatar man2oushe, beid w awarma, and grilled halloumi — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, but not in an overbearing way, so you can truly take your time and enjoy your meal. The place itself is cozy, warm, and welcoming. What makes it even more special is knowing that proceeds from the restaurant go towards supporting a local business in a village — a beautiful touch that makes you feel even better about dining here. Highly recommend!

Stayed here back in August 2023 during my first time in Lebanon and also my first time traveling solo. I still till this day talk about how much I loved this place. Everything about it was wonderful and the entire place is so beautiful, it really shows the true authenticity of the Lebanese culture in every corner. Sassine was by far the best host I’ve encountered. Truly such a kind sweet soul and I’ll never forget the beautiful hospitality. He always answered his phone, always checked in and knew everything about the area. Felt very safe, happy and well taken care of. It is obvious he loves what he does and how special this place is to him. I remember while I was there, they were turning the rooftop into a restaurant and Sassine was so excited about it. It makes me so happy to see how much the place has grown and developed, and I wish more success for Sassine and his team. Can’t wait to be back.
