Beiteddine is absolutely worth a visit. I went with my kids, and it turned into a great opportunity for them to connect with their country's heritage in a real and memorable way. The palace itself is stunning some rooms and details truly take your breath away. The architecture and design are a beautiful glimpse into Lebanon's past. There are a few things that could make the experience even better: improved lighting and air-conditioning would go a long way, and having more guides or clearer descriptions would help visitors appreciate the site even more. All in all, a great cultural outing for families or anyone interested in Lebanese history.

Beit el-Din in the Chouf is one of Lebanon’s most iconic landmarks, deeply rooted in history and always attracting visitors from near and far. Walking through its courtyards and halls gives a real sense of heritage and tradition. At the same time, some areas could use more care. The furniture in the exhibition rooms feels worn and in need of restoration. Even with these details, the palace remains a proud symbol of Lebanese history and culture worth visiting, reflecting upon, and preserving for future generations.

It's a historical place, where the first events of creating the region and the alliances that affecting till now. I recommend having a guid because every small thing has a meaning and a significance. It shall take between 2 to 4 hours to go through all rooms and halls. Surprisingly, if you are lucky you might say hello to Lebanese president as this also his summer office 😇
