Wow I absolutely loved it here! Everything was so fantastic. My room had a private sauna and hot springs bath in it, the restaurant had delicious daily breakfast, the spa had hot tubs, cold plunge, and saunas you could enjoy 2x/day included with your stay. And the hotel is situated right across from Beitou park which was just so incredibly serene and beautiful, housing the library and the museum right in the park. Just a few minutes walk up the road was the thermal valley — you truly can’t beat this experience for the price. Maybe the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

Last year(2024), Beitou Hot Spring Resort went so much beyond our expectations that we had to book again for 2025. |Our superior room had its own mineral hot spring tub and even a steam chamber. But the best is the spring hot tubs at the wellness center, 3 pools with temperatures between 14C and 42C with water jets and an external cooling pipe to cool your head. The sauna is bigger than my home bedroom, incredible. ||The staff at this resort is the most helpful and friendliest that one can ever expect. They were the true stars that made sure we had the most pleasurable experience, from the breakfast to the spa to the front desk. Upon an early check out, they even provided us with breakfast boxes and called us a taxi. Appreciate for the finesse. ||Using the facilities before an 18 hour flight home to Florida, USA was a true blessing! We hope we can come back again next year.

Great location near the train station, park, and other attractions of Xinbeitou. Excellent amenities including the bath tub in the rooms with mineral water and steam shower. Very thoughtful staff including checking our dietary restrictions for breakfast. The staff were even more helpful when I left a rain jacket in my room and they arranged to courier it to another city. I highly recommend this lovely, comfortable hotel.

The Beitou Hot Spring hotel has its strengths, but also some areas for improvement. The highlight was definitely the in-room bathtub filled with natural hot spring water – a very relaxing experience that made the stay worthwhile. The room itself showed signs of age, but overall it was well-maintained and clean, which I appreciated. The breakfast leaned more toward Asian cuisine, but there was a decent variety, so most guests should find something they like. On the downside, I think a few modern touches are missing – for example, USB charging ports would be very helpful in the rooms. Also, the door design could be improved to better block out hallway noise, as sound from the corridor was quite noticeable at times. Overall, it was a decent stay with some enjoyable features, but there's room for improvement to make it more comfortable and up-to-date.

We had an awesome time. It was very relaxing. It's worth noting, that it didn't go off without a hitch. But you can tell a lot about the quality of a place by how they handle their service when things don't go perfectly. The first room we were booked in the hot water faucet didn't work after the first time. The repairman came to try and fix it, but he couldn't. So they relocated us to another room, and comped us some extra time. Things don't always work perfectly, but they showed amazing customer service, and did what was needed to make sure that we had a positive experience. I highly recommend this location. The rooms are great and were one of the few places that had both hot and cold tubs.

The location is very convenient. The resort is nearby the MRT Station, and there is many restaurants around that area, and also just 10mins walking to the Thermal Valley. Inside the resort is very comfy. Overall is clean. Hot spring and steaming room built-in the room. The experience was very good. Love it

The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. My wife and i had a great sleep. Loved the private bath within the room. The location was so convenient with so mamy food options within walking distance plus the whole Beitou key sights were all walkable. Really good location.

We were just looking for a hotel with private hot pool but this room came with both hot and cold spa! Wonderful experience switching from one to the other. And to top it up, it came with both a sauna room, as well as steam room in the shower room! Totally amazing!

Yelp
Known as the top tourist attraction in Northern Taipei! This was absolutely the BEST part of my trip to Taiwan! If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful experience then this place is for you. After all the hiking and walking I was doing during my trip I decided to spend a solo day visiting the hot spring resorts Lemme' tell you all 'bout it... The hot springs of Beitou are located and accessible by metro. Get off at the Xinbeitou Station where you will find loads of attractions within walking distance (10-15 mins). Just outside of the station you can walk towards the 7-11 and walk towards Zhongshan Road where it's full of Hot Spring Resorts. Other things to look out for are the Thermal Valley, walking trails through gardens, museums, temples and springs and the Ketagalan Cultural Centre. Just FYI, you can walk into any hotel and pay to use their hot springs. I chose to spend half a day at Beitou Hot Springs as it offers public and private rooms and has TONS of raving reviews. My Uber driver dropped me off at the front entrance and upon walking in I quickly noticed the wonderful staff greeting me. The inside lobby has this beautiful chandelier that certainly caught my eye as well. If you can, make sure to get a private room vs. the public room. I was able to get my own private room for less than $50 USD for 90 mins. The room comes with two water bottles and small containers of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash. The staff was able to come and assist me with plugging in the bath and running the water (the bath has two faucets hot and cold) I encourage you to mix both the waters in order to get your preferred temperature. Once your time is up you can take a shower near the corner of the room and get dressed to head out. Once you leave the room, you can go downstairs and use your voucher to buy drinks and food at the café on the lower level. Other key things to know before you go.... +Don't forget to check out the night markets here. It's a real Asian cultural experience. +The area is really safe and everyone is very nice and polite. As a female traveler, I had no problem walking around this district alone. + No need to spend a night here...doing this as a day trip is good enough. Honestly, after a busy day of exploring Taipei, this is a good place to recharge and soothe the legs and feet. I definitely recommend coming to check this out when in Taipei. What more information do you need? This place is phuckin' awesome; grab a swimsuit, soak your feet and come to check this place out!

Yelp
I stopped by around noon on Monday without a reservation. The private hot spring bath (1,380) had a wait so my partner and I splashed out for the private hot spring room which was available immediately (1,980 for 120 minutes). We received a voucher for a refreshment after bath as well. Our room was on 6F with a pretty view. The room had a separate hot and cold tub, TV (50+ channels), bed, and shower. Basic toiletries were provided like toothbrush, shampoo, and razor. We also had a fridge and 4 bottles of water. I had the most relaxing time and would definitely recommend. I have to subtract one star because I noticed an alarming stain on the bed cover right before I left, but the room seemed otherwise clean.

Yelp
One of my favorite experiences in Taiwan on holiday...I highly recommend visiting here (or maybe any of the hot springs hotel/resort). As others said, it was an easy public transit ride out of the city. There's a nearby museum which offers complimentary admission and the infamous thermal valley (boiling water - not for bathing). This place was cute, classy and romantic. We opted for the private bath, instead of the public...though I'm thinking about going back on my last day to test those waters (pun intended). I don't think anyone has mentioned the water is WHITE SULFUR (what's the difference? No smell, unlike regular surfer we all know/smell so well). Love it!!! For the 90 minute option, they call you 15 min prior to the end time, then 5 min before....then like every 30 seconds. Not sure if they realize this but hopping out each time takes away from bath time...just saying. We loved the treats/drinks comp'd in the cafe - Unfortunately we ate those at the beginning not realizing it cut into our bath time. Doh! Oh well, the time was still marvelous and I captured some nice pix for you all. Enjoy!!! ;-)

Yelp
I stayed here in February of 2019. The standard room room comes with its own hot tub and sauna, both of which were in great condition. You also get access to the public/hotel wide hot spring. The public hot spring includes a steam room, sauna, and two different types of baths as well as a cold pool. They included a nice loofah in the hot tub, so grab that before you go to the public one! At the public one there is also water and cold towels inside a mini-fridge. The hotel is conveniently located right next to xinbeitou station, convenience store, and a couple of restaurants. However breakfast and cleanliness of the vanity area at the public bath were so-so, the reason for 1 less star than 5 stars. Wish I could give it 4.5!

Yelp
Friendly and professional staffs. Clean and super organized hotel and hot spring resort. Spacious although it's a smaller hot spring place. Not hard to find and parking lot downstairs. They have food too although it's a bit pricey. Lots of restaurants around at walking distance through. Hot spring price is reasonable and relaxing place. I prefer if they didn't have TV inside just because some customers clash it up really loud and it's kind of disturbing. It's not my favourite hot spring place but it's a decent one and I don't mind coming back at some point. A place I'd recommend as it's new and pretty modern but still not too expensive.

Yelp
I think people said this is the most famous of the hot spring places in this area. It's in a really nice hotel with free shuttle (return too) next to the train station (across from mcdonalds). An hour of hot spring time has a room to chill (with Ac), bathroom, shower and od course a hot spring bath. Around 2300 NT. Try the tea time snack combo! It's worth it as an add on.

Yelp
Very affordable rates for public/private hot spring baths. You have the option of all day access to their public hot springs with locker and sauna, 90 min of a private hot spring bath, or 90 mins of a private room with hot spring bath in addition to the usual hotel room amenities like TV and bed. We opted to do the 90 min private hot spring bath, which was total about NTD 1300 for two people. (I believe the public access was about NTD 600 for one person. I don't remember the price for the other option.) After you pay at the reception, you will go up to your room which you will find a cold and hot bath, There is also a mirror vanity table that has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair caps, hair dryer, and two bottles of water. The room also has a cushioned lounge chair and a basket of towels. The baths are facing huge windows that overlook the hotel garden(?). The view is not bad but not great either. Plug the baths and turn on the faucets to your preferred water temperature. The hot spring bath has two faucets, a hot and cold, so you can mix waters to get your preferred temp. My mom was very skeptical if it is actual hot spring water due to the lack of sulfur smell but I would like to believe it's legit. For those doing the 90 min hot spring bath, you will be placed on a floor with only private hot spring bath rooms, and there is a one bathroom for the floor. Everything is very clean and I'd def recommend for a quick half a day trip while in Taipei. After you are done bathing, take your ticket to the lobby cafe for 2 free drinks (coffee or tea) and some afternoon pastries.

Yelp
A friend and I came to Beitou and it was raining. Decided to splurge a little bit a get a private room instead of going to public hot spring. Room rate was about US ~$50 together and we had 90 minutes in a private room. It was lovely. I wish they would start the water because it took a bit to fill up but nonetheless, things were good. Loved the cold tub for plunging. All in all, wish we upgraded to lvl up room to have private bathroom and real shower but things were grear for the price.
