I've got to tell you folks, if you're in the market for a reputable dealer and a good sound system, Erik "The Warlock" Konigsberg is the right man for assisting. I call him The Warlock because he spends to time and listens intently to his customers. Through those discussions he becomes somewhat "mystical" in how he learns to assess the types of music genre's you like and the 'type' of components that will be pleasing to one's ear. He's certainly got me pegged. Erik is also conscious of price-point. Though he and his father's store carries upscale gear, he also appreciates those of us who are on a somewhat limited budget. Erik and his father answered many many of my questions, explained how to best choose components and allowed me to demo for as long as I was there. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, I will be returning. They have a great selection of brands as well!

Great experience! I will definitely return again when I need something for my system. UPDATE: It may have taken me longer than expected, but I did return to BEK HiFi to purchase a new set of speakers. Erik was excellent to deal with. Super knowledgeable! He listened to what I was looking for and nailed it. I am really enjoying my new speakers. I can’t wait to go back for my next upgrade (phono preamp?)🤔

We had a turntable that had been sitting outside for over a year (unbeknownst to us). We brought it into BEK and Eric helped restore it to working condition! He also spent so much time educating us on turntables/speaker systems/etc. We ended up purchasing a pair of speakers and we couldn’t be happier. The company provides personalized, patient, and thoughtful services. Highly recommend!!!

I visited BEK Hifi this past weekend to pick up a Luxman amp. I'm from out of town and Erik stayed late after close so that I could get the amp that day. Thanks Erik! I highly recommend this shop, good customer experience, knowledgeable team, and laid-back environment.

Nice review! The only review in 5 years that looks like Bek wrote it!!!! I'm sorry but when I've been in the store half a dozen times and they don't even say Hi. How are you today? Is there anything we can help you with?? Nope they just ignore you cause they've judged you by the cover at first glance. Even if I can or cannot afford to shop there every customer should be treated as if they're gonna drop thousands on high end audio! We shouldn't feel less than walking into your store!!!!!!!!!! End of story! Chances are I'll drive way further than 20 minutes to feel like I'm a valued customer! Sorry but this is a store where the audio equipment is nicer than the staff!!!! You guys are supposed to be helping people have the best experience with audio not making them feel less than! This review would be way different if you guys actually just said hello when we walk in the store!

Family business that is truthful and will get you what you are looking for.......they are looking out for you to supply you with the music equipment that fulfills your desire at your price point. Father and son are both passionate about their store and you feel it when talking to them. You tell them what your price range is, what pieces you need (amps, pre-amps, cartridges, turntables etc) and they will lead you in the right direction. You feel ZERO pressure to buy which is a relief to potential buyers. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to upgrade their sound systems. Their price point is the same as the biggest audio retailers in the world. TRUST!!!!

In short BEK Hifi is awesome! Eric & Barry are two channel and analog experts. They spent the time to install and align a new cartridge on my turntable. More importantly they provide sound advice about music reproduction that I have come to trust. Although they specialize in super high end (very expensive) audio equipment, BEK Hifi has always treated me and my friends right. Whether it's a big or small purchase they always take the time to make sure my questions are answered! In the world of high end audio and high fidelity most small dealers have abandoned brick and mortar shops due to the Internet and competition from big box stores. BEK Hifi is what audio stores used to be like in the 1980s! Their sound room is awesome too. Two thumbs up! I highly recommend this store. BEK

In the past four years I have purchased thousands of dollars of audio equipment from Barry and Eric. I visited BEK HIFI 10 days ago and was given a verbal commitment by Barry (co-owner of BEK Hi FI) to purchase a used Well Tempered tonearm and a used ClearAudio cartridge attached to its head shell. Barry said directly to me "the Well Tempered tonearm is yours and I will place it in the display cabinet for you to pick up after I take it off the customer's turntable". Barry was very pleasant, informative, and helpful that day. I returned to BEK Hifi on Sat. 11/4/17 to take measurements of the tonearm and to pay for the purchase (if its removal from the customer's turntable by Barry was complete). Barry told me that the Well Tempered Tonearm was not for sale and that he was going to start a Museum of audio equipment. I told Barry that he promised to sell me the tonearm. Barry told me that he never said those exact words..."promised". I felt extremely disappointed and puzzled at the same time because of Barry's deceptive behavior. Barry then said to me that he saw I was upset and he would now sell the tonearm to me. I want to share this sales experience at BEK HIFi with other consumers in a helpful way. I have never seen Barry conduct business in this manner.
