BEL-AIR COFFEE | Specialty Coffee Shop & Take-away

While I was traveling from Siegen to Genève for World of Coffee, I made an spontaneous and relaxed stop at „BEL-AIR SPECIALTY COFFEE“. I was checking the „EUROPEAN COFFEE TRIP“ app on the way and this place caught my attention immediately. I had to visit, there was no way around it. Upon arriving, I directly saw some of the finest coffees from the most renowned farms and roasteries. The first brew I had was a washed Geisha from Hacienda La Esmeralda. It was marvelous. I talked quite a lot with the owner, who then went in the back and took some very special lots out of the freezer. He was very generous and brewed another Geisha for me, this time from Granja La Esperanza. Also this coffee was extremely well brewed with great detail and attention. It does not happen too often that I like handbrews in a Café a lot. But I absolutely loved both of these handbrews. Especially the second one! Last but not least, I also tried a flat white. Top notch as well! I highly recommend this place to any specialty coffee enthusiast. You will find coffees of extremely high quality and they are prepared with passion!

Great selection of coffees - a wider selection than I’ve seen anywhere in Switzerland. flat white was really good, silky smooth and incredibly well extracted. The Pour over from Swerl was prepared with care! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Very nice, small and cozy space. The staff was very nice and friendly. The matcha tasted very nice and well-made. The latter was also very nice and delicious. Their pastries were very freshly made and delicious as well. We tried the cinnamon roll which was very nice.

My only regret was not arriving earlier (I was there 30 minutes before closing), so I could taste more coffee and browse the collection of coffees they have on offer. For a specialty coffee snob like myself, this was a heavenly café to be in. Great coffee, knowledgeable staff and a cute location. Can highly recommend! 😍

I loved Bel-Air Coffee! The coffee selection is fantastic, including great options to take away, and the pastries were delicious. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return many times.

THE hidden gem 💎 specialty coffee ☕️ shop in Lausanne. Perfectly central location, yet quiet and nice backyard to relax. Spectacular coffee choice and great explanations of origins of taste. Don’t miss to try the Kombucha as well. Various pastry options as well, all rounded with great service !

Exceptional Coffee. Friendly staff and probably the best coffee you can get in Lausanne around the pedestrian zone in the center. ✌️

Wonderful coffee shop. The most balanced and delicious coffee I have had since I left England, and I try where ever I can. Quietly hidden away. The owner is clearly passionate and knows coffee. And a place that doesn’t use UHT milk, which is a shame to me when using high quality coffee but seems the norm here in Suisse! I’ll be back. 🙏💕
