We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable... everything you hope for when you’re working away from home. But what truly set this place apart was the staff. They were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to take care of us when we needed it most. Their kindness turned two very tired, hungry girls into two very grateful guests. Thank you for making our stay feel so special, we’ll remember your care long after the trip

I'm a full time wheelchair user so we booked Room 3 which is a 2 bedroom + 1 bathroom accessible room. POSITIVES -good location -the kitchenette (it is not wheelchair accessible but it was convenient for my family to use) -bedroom & bathroom size NEGATIVES -the unserviced aspect is NOT clearly communicated. The fact that the doors have a do not disturb sign implies that if you don't put that out your room will be serviced. (Particularly since the name of the place includes the word SERVICED. -the meals/lounge area is small & overcrowded with oversized furniture. Not great for a wheelchair user. -it is not obvious until you arrive that you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. That made for a very uncomfortable situation. -there are no shelves in the bathroom to put your toiletries on. So you either have to put them on the floor or take them to & from your room every time you want to use them. -there aren't an adequate amount of towel rails particularly considering how many people the unit can accommodate. -there are insufficient grab rails. -the wash basin is too low so I consistently hit my knees when using it. -the shower floor is not graded properly which means water goes everywhere. Not at all safe, and we had to use endless towels to mop up the water so no one slipped. -the bathroom amenities are individual items. In this day & age most motels/hotels use refillable bottles which are more environmentally friendly. -the shower taps have been installed incorrectly. -the wash basin doesn't drain properly & obviously hasn't for quite sometime. This makes me think housekeeping needs to be more attentive. -the mattresses were very uncomfortable. There were also no spare pillows. I guess we could have asked for them, but that seems like one of those things that should just be standard. We stay in approximately 20 places per year, this is one of the worst accessible bathrooms I have come across. It does not appear that professional advice was sought, instead it was a box ticking exercise where someone said, hey we put in a couple of grab rails so now it's accessible. I hope you will consider doing better.

Good location and clean and tidy rooms. Recommend to anyone. Woolworths literally next door so very handy.

Comfy bed & renovated bathrooms. Most staff members were friendly & welcoming, but one extremely rude staff member left a lasting impression. Cleanliness was lacking in some areas, eg. bathroom exhaust fan, balcony with cigarette butts, lift with the same food scraps uncleaned for 3 days running.

I found the room and common areas had a musty smell. The reason I chose this motel was that it advertised EV chargers available. Then on arrival i was told there would be fee of $20, not advertised. When I returned after dinner the charging space were taken up by non EV cars. BWH needs to monitor this issue if you want to attract EV owners.

Staff were nice, the rest was awful. Insufficient power points, lighting was more like a night light wattage, area unsafe with open drug deals happening in the adjacent property. Bathroom tiny, without a car is hard to get food. No toaster, no microwave.

Booked my elderly parents in here for close proximity to ginenderry function centre. They found the accessibile bathroom a bit dangerous because of the water from shower pooling on the bathroom floor also so there was a water leak making carpet wet and musty smell . They advised reception of the issue only to be told " yes we know " might be an idea to do a bit of investigation maintenance.

This an old 70´s style motel with little upgrading, poor internet and little soundproofing between rooms. I hhad to bang on the wall at 2:00 am to tell the drunk neighbors to quite down. I believe you can do better for the price.

A bit hard to believe that this hotel is as busy as it is. Conveniently located right on a main thoroughfare, but not really close to the City of Canberra proper. The hotel is well kept but pretty darn old for a hotel/motel in a capital city. Rooms are good size and come in a variety of configurations. My room had a kitchen and full-size fridge, a couch, and a small table that functioned as desk. Bed linen was cleaned every other day or so. The layout of my colleagues' adjacent rooms was hilariously odd with a shared kitchen and bathroom. All good you say? Well, probably not if you realized one had the bathroom and the other the kitchen and that you had to enter the other person's room to use the facilities!
