Bel’Espérance

Very well located in the heart of the city the hotel staff is extremely nice and friendly. ||The hotel director Alain is very welcoming with a great sense of humor and very helpful in explaining where to go and what to do in town. It is near the old town and near restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and the rooftop was excellent with a wonderful view over the Geneva lake and the city and surrounding mountains. Breakfast buffet was very rich and tasty. I recommend everyone to stay in the hotel and the prices are very competitive for being in Geneva and in the middle of the city. Walking distance from most of the museums, shopping centres and historic monuments.

Stayed here in January 2020. Hotel is fine. Room had all I needed and it was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful to my many questions about buses and directions. Breakfast was good. I am vegetarian and their was plenty for me to chose from. The coffee is really nice. Nice hotel, quiet at nice. Lovely to hear the nearby church bells ringing from my room. Make sure you go up on to the roof terrace and enjoy the amazing views. The location is fantastic. You can get to anywhere very easily from here. The Cathedral is basically minutes away. You are in the old town. The lake is minutes away walking. The hotels location made sightseeing very easy for me. Geneva is a beautiful city and the hotel is a great base to explore it from. I would certainly come back again and it will be this hotel that I stay at when I do.

Got a single room, it is functional and has all the necessities. Amazing location and great staff. Walkable distance and easy access public transport (which is free...the hotel gives you a public transport card for the duration of you stay). Great breakfast selection of hot and cold. I would definately stay here again and will be recommending to friends.|Ps dont forget to go up to the roof top for great city views 😉

The location is terrific; it is hard to get more central to Geneva's Old Town or city center. The clean, sober, quiet room had everything we needed and nothing we did not. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. This hotel is a little plain but takes good care of you and offers excellent value for money. We expect to be repeat customers.

You can not find a hotel better located than Bel’Esperance in Geneva. It only takes 2 minutes of walk to the Old Town and only 2 minutes to reach the city centre where all the shops and restaurants are.||||The staff is so nice and helpful, they will be there to give you the adresses you need. ||||During your stay, do not forget to check the rooftop terrace, the view is absolutely stunning from there!!! In summer, you have the possibility to cook on the barbecue while in winter, you can try the traditional swiss meal - a fondue - while enjoying the view on the lake and on the Jet d’Eau.||||I came many times and I will continue for all the reasons above!||||Do not hesitate to book at Bel'Esperance, you will not be disappointed!

A friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is up a quiet street in a great location in the Old Town. The room was pleasant, clean room - had a nice view of St Peter's Cathedral. An excellent breakfast with an assortment of croissants and other pastries, cheese, eggs and breakfast meats and other items.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was very good, lovely bread. Room was also of an adequate size and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was very advantageous and meant one could save money by not having to eat out all the time in expensive Geneva. Thank you for a nice stay.

The service of the staff could not be more kind and efficient. Excellent breakfast. Very well located. The rooms are very clean and have a small kitchen equipped for cooking. At the top of the Hotel you can enjoy a magnificent view over the city. I recommend.
