Highly recommended — we had lunch here (sea bass & tuna salad) which was great! Very fresh ingredients and well prepared. The home made chocolate mouse as dessert was also great! Service very friendly

The accommodations where clean with all amenities needed were provided. Situated right at the waterfront, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The hosts were super friendly and professional. Wonderful place to stay and super value. Easy to find, ample parking, views of the lake, adequate space in the room with a nice bathroom, very large bed (complete with towel sculptures and local scented flowers and leaves to ward off any stray flies) and super efficient air-con that was better than that we'd had in hotels 4 times the price of this place!||||Amazingly friendly and helpful owners with excellent English. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant - a huge amount of excellent food for a good price. Would love to stay here again.

A hotel in a superb location run by two sisters who married two brothers and they are all fantastically kind, generous and considerate. The four of them make the place the magic that it is. The room was fantastic, immaculately clean and well provided with a beautiful view over the lake. The restaurant served lovely food in enormous portions at amazingly reasonable prices with fantastic wines of Portugal chosen by Jo and Victor. Sitting on our balcony with a bottle of rose in the brilliant sun was very special. The countryside around is superb especially if you like driving old sports cars around demanding roads that are largely empty! Isobel and Rosa the sisters were so helpful and kind it was almost embarrassing as we could do so little in return. Will we return? You bet we will. FANTASTIC!!

We booked three rooms at short notice on a motorcycle tour of Portugal. ||Vittor and Rosa were brilliant hosts; helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant food superb. ||Lovely situation alongside a hidden gem of a lake. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed a lovely drive through the national park and found this gem. We stopped for lunch and have to say if your this way it is well worth stopping off at. The staff speak very good English and were able to make suggestions about what local dishes to try. Again we have been blessed with another good restaurant.
