Yelp
Well damn. One night I'm eating pizza that fell on the floor, the next night I'm staying in a gorgeous 4 Diamond boutique hotel. UPGRADE. Judy and Ed, the owners, held the door open for us as we approached the entrance. The lobby had beautiful chandeliers and fall decor. We pleasantly chatted about how similar MN and ME are with them as we checked in. We received a pair of actual keys to our room, which was a refreshing escape from electronic this and selfie that. Since we were only in town for a night, we stayed in a double-queen room instead of a full suite. We had our own separate entrance to the room from our own private patio area, which made it feel like we were entering a vacation home. Every detail in the room was luxurious. From the Bose stereo playing jazz, to the fireplace, to the ornate furniture, to THE most comfortable bed and pillows, to the hardwood hallway leading to the large bathroom with light dimmers. In the morning, they set-up a wonderful breakfast in-room for us: spinach-feta frittata, spring salad, fruit salad, blueberry-lemon pound cake, OJ, and coffee. Having to check out and leave really sucked. Additional info: Must book weeks in advance, as they only have 8 rooms. Park in the front to check-in, then you can re-park in the private lot in the back. They are right next to the Co-op and within walking distance of basically everything in town!

Yelp
Beautiful inn in the heart of Belfast Susan, the new owner, was very helpful and accommodating. Super comfortable beds and immaculate accommodations. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Yelp
Calling this a suite was an understatement. It was more like a full blown out one bedroom apartment with the highest attention to detail. I could easily move in! It was spotless and lovingly decorated. Breakfast was amazing delicious and fresh as could be. Judy and Ed are friendly, kind and professional. Highly recommend this charming hotel!!

Yelp
The best hotel ever! Ed & Judy (the owners) go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a 5 star experience. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with exquisite details. I will definitely return!

Yelp
Clean, quiet & comfortable. We checked in last minute and were given a walk through tour and explanation of all need to know aspects of the property. We stayed in room 302 which was tastefully decorated and again, clean! Breakfast was intimate and very good. Conveniently located within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. If we ever make it back to the area we will visit again!

Yelp
Beautiful! We were lucky to get a last minute reservation on a Saturday night. Stayed in Suite 302, amazing. Rooms are spotless, tastefully decorated, we didn't want to leave. Bed is so comfy, nice new mattress and great sheets. The Inn is in the heart of downtown with parking out back. Owners are very nice and obviously take pride in their establishment which the should, it's lovely.

Yelp
Beautiful room. A quiet, restful night and great staff. Right on Main Street. Lots of little stores around to explore and some great pubs in walking distance as well.

Yelp
Fabulous place! Our room was not one of their suites...could have fooled me. Our room was large and the bathroom was just about as large. Breakfast was different every morning...served in the outside courtyard. The owners Judy & Eddie were great hosts. Hope I get the chance to re-visit.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Belfast Bay Inn for our New Year's Eve and 2nd wedding anniversary getaway. It was all we had hoped for and more. June and Ed greeted us with warmth and we felt completely taken care of during our stay. The lobby was gorgeous, and our room was luxurious- the decor is beautiful and welcoming. We stayed in suite 301 which I recommend. We were on the 3rd/top floor with amazing views of the ocean from both rooms: there was a well equipped kitchen, a beautiful living area, dining area, large bedroom with plush bedding, and marble bathroom. I remarked to my husband more than once that I could live in this "apartment/room" forever. And the homemade breakfast is served by Ed and June right in your room, it was fantastic. As for location it was perfect for us. We walked to the local grocery co-op (amazing place) for snacks and champagne for our room, were able to walk around downtown and enjoy the shops, and then walked to a fabulous restaurant just up the road (thanks to June's suggestion). We had a great trip and look forward to recommending the Belfast Bay Inn to friends and also staying again in the future.
