Went here for dinner on a Tuesday evening and they were doing trivia. There was a lady speaking on a mic to host the trivia to ask questions and direct the event. Most of the tables that night were participating in it and seemed pretty into it. It was pretty loud, but it was an interesting vibe to be a part of. Our server was attentive and came by our table often enough. The food didn't take too long either. It looked like they had a pretty extensive selection of beers when you look at their bar, so it would've been nice to get a bit of an overview of what they had and any featured beers, etc. Food was decent, but I'd say you're coming here more for the vibe.

Being from Belfast, I had to visit this bar! Staff were very helpful. Beer on tap (that I tried) was nice, snack menu great too.

Great location ! Food, service and drinks were very good ! We tried couple of different cocktails and they were all tasty and well balanced. Food was very good as well, great flavors and portions. We were seated outside and it was a nice patio where service was great ! Recommend this place !

Dude what is with the fries at this place? Those golden sticks of glory and goodness were incredible. Crunchy, seasoned amazingly. The balsamic aioli that it comes with is a perfect dip too. We ain't even talked about the pizza yet. Thin crust, piping hot, comes with parm and chilis. I normally try and stick to 2 slices total but I ate half of the Marg and 4 slices out of the pepperoni (in between bites of dipped fries - don't judge me!). Sauce was unreal and the crust was light, crunchy and browned. Service here was excellent too. Friendly staff, great recommendations, very easy place to recommend. Sorry about the poor photos, the lighting was set to "Friday evening".

We arrived, but no one came to welcome us or guide us to a table, leaving us unsure of what to do at first. We ended up choosing a table ourselves, only to find water bottles already there from previous guests. No one bothered to clean the table or bring us fresh glasses and water. After waiting for quite a while, we had to call a waiter over just to get the menu. Overall, everything felt below standard, and the place was clearly understaffed. Definitely not planning to return.

We made a reservation for my friend's birthday on a Saturday evening - we had to change the number of people a few times and that was done easily by phone call. There are stairs required to get to this bar. The music is loud, lighting is dim. Service was amazing, we got free prosecco for my friend's birthday, and we were added to the guest list for the bar upstairs. The hosts and servers helped us take pictures and were so attentive/friendly. They even let us switch from a table to a nicer booth. The food here is small and pricey, but tasted good. I tried the gluten free mushroom pizza, fries, prawn tacos, Calamari, and chicken bites. The mixed drinks were very good.

We stumbled upon this bar for a girls’ night out, and it was a great find! The fried calamari with its amazing sauce was delicious, and the beer was good. My friends enjoyed their pizza too. The ambiance had a cool sports bar vibe, and it wasn’t too crowded or loud, making it a great place to hang out and have a good time with friends. Definitely a nice spot for a casual night out

Charming patio...I indulged in the string fries accompanied by a couple of the delightful draught beers that happened to be on special for a pleasant Friday evening. My friend had the waffle and ice cream accompanied with some pineapple juice. The service provided by the friendly staff was top-notch. Vibrant atmosphere of the patio added to the ambiance, creating a lively and inviting setting. Recommend.

Yelp
40 beers on tap -- what's not to like?!?! Very chill vibes We had dinner before, so didn't try any of the food but we had a great time

Hi Friend, The subterranean bar is dimly lit with Tv screens in front of bar. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts BEST EVER! Service was slow*( C-

Yelp
I'll preface this by saying we had a large group. I think our reservation was for 18, but we ended up having a couple more than that. I'm aware that large groups seem to have a bit more chaos involved, and we were warned that food would take 45+ minutes. No worries right, sounds good. However, it just was an actual dumpster fire experience. I don't blame this on the two bartenders taking care of our table, they have a bar to maintain, let alone a table out of their way of 20~ people. But if a large group was going to be an issue to the restaurant, don't accept large parties or just split them up into two tables of 10~ where servers can take care of it instead of bartenders. Drink runners were disorganized bringing things to wrong spots, my boyfriend's Diet Coke was forgotten about and we had to ask two different people for it; food runners have no clue what they're bringing, a guy brought a pepperoni pizza and called it a Margherita and brought it to the wrong person. This pizza was the only food brought out after 45 minutes, so only one person was eating and then finished before anything else arrived. The food just showed up at random intervals. People that showed up late got their food before us. My boyfriend and I had ordered an appetizer and I'm sure that was forgotten about too, because my dish came out after like an hour and a half (the cooked protein part of my salad was cold but I was starving at this point) and then our appetizer came out five minutes later piping hot. Others in our group said their burgers and fries were cold but we all hadn't eaten since breakfast so reluctantly ate it anyways. My boyfriend's pizza was forgotten about, and a girl's salad was forgotten about. My boyfriend was really put through a ringer in this experience cause basically all his stuff was forgotten. We complained and then the pizza magically showed up in a to-go box, but it wasn't worth the wait because it was thin crust but floppy and doughy. We all wondered if we were getting bad service because we'd be an auto grat table Again, if the restaurant can't handle the large group, I don't think they should accept a reservation like that, or be better prepared for it and not just use bartenders for it. Maybe even have managers be more involved with it and check in with everyone.

Yelp
Despite being called Belfast Public House, its not a pub nor does it feel like one. Think more like a place to grab food before heading to a club. Filled with many 20 to 30 year olds dressed up for a night out. Happy hour beers were fantastic and local. Had one cocktail which was ok. Burger was fine but the pizza was better. Go here if your about to head to club and want a great pizza before hand.

Yelp
Trying to grasp every chance to sit at the patio before summer ends :) It's a lovely place. The chicken bites were so yum, they were sugar or honey glazed chicken with jalapeño and dipping sauce, tasted sweet and salty and spicy, should definitely try if you are looking for snacks. The drinks were good too. Nice ambience and service.

Yelp
Gord and I had supper a couple weeks ago on the patio of Belfast Love. Gord ordered a crispy chicken sandwich.  He said it was good and might get it again. I ordered a burger (with no cheese).  It was a good burger and I'd get it again. Desiree was our server.  She was friendly and took good care of us.

Yelp
Always a good time at this location with friends. Service is fast and they were able to accommodate our larger group. Started for dinner and stayed the night for when it turned into more of a club scene - great music and energy. Will definitely be back! It's a little pricy, but no different than every other restaurant in the area.

Yelp
Jason is the best! Love the atmosphere so much. Lots of young people (23 age minimum), great bar for college kids and people just out of college.

Yelp
Jason is literally the love of my life. I've never met a sweeter man in my life.

Yelp
I have limited experience at this bar/eatery, but the times I've been there have all been good. The busiest part of it is the patio. Not only during Covid but in general. The inside is nice, and if it wasn't a pandemic I'd likely prefer it to the patio, but both are cozy and comfortable. I'm not a huge drinker, so I focus mainly on the food and it's good here. I had the pizza as did my friends, and it is definitely one of the better pies in the King St area. I'd compare the style to that of Trois Brasseurs. Thin crust, good amount of cheese and toppings, tasty sauce. Also, one of the nice things about the patio is that it's fenced off from the street, so it's a bit less like sitting out in traffic. Servers were attentive, and its a much better use of the space than it's previous tenant, a coffee and sandwich shop which was good but didn't have the energy this place does. Worth the trip!

Yelp
Came to this establishment on a local's recommendation, admittedly this was years ago. Was here for a bachelor party and man this place did not disappoint. We admittedly got lucky to get two big tables right by each other without a reservation to seat our entire party of 14 or so. Insane selection of beer, real good food, and once we hit the busy time there was a line out of the building to get in. The craziest part, the amount of beautiful women who came in towards the end was absolutely incredible.

Ahmed S.

Yelp
Went there on a Thursday evening after work. Great collection of Beers, especially IPA. The bartenders along with the service staff are very welcoming and cordial. The place has a vibe going on which picks up late at night. Shrimp dumplings 10/10 (more on the spicy side) Quinoa Avacado Bowl 10/10 If you have a sweet tooth don't forget to give the strawberry cheesecake a try

Yelp
Went here on a double date with my cousin and her boyfriend on a Friday night. The bar was busy! We got probably one of the last tables inside and didn't have to wait. The service was good. They had good options for drinks- though cocktails were a little pricey. We each ordered a pizza and had some leftover to take home. The pizza was okay, but nothing special. I'm a pizza snob. I probably wouldn't order it again, but it wasn't terrible or anything, I'd just try something else. I'll add the patio is a really nice hangout spot in the summer if you can snag a seat!

Yelp
Started St Patrick's Day 2023 with a stop at Belfast Love for some drinks and food at noon. Several pints of Guinness were enjoyed by my friends, and I had Creemore - no fun cocktails this time! Three of us ordered from the food specials - bangers and mash and a tasty corned beef hash! Service was attentive and friendly, even as the bar started to fill.

Yelp
They have a great selection of beers on tap here, and the food is not bad either. On the weekends this place tends to get rowdy, so be prepared for a line, cover, and a very crowded interior. Overall the vibes are good and the music is great - I would've loved to give them 4 stars but I had to dock one for the shoddy bathrooms, which were not the cleanest and very much flooded.

Yelp
I went here yesterday, 01/22/22, at 3:30. There wasn't anyone in the place. Nobody. The ahole host asked me if I had a reservation. "No", I said, "What difference does it make, the place is empty". "You can't get in without a reservation", he says. I asked; "When are the reservations for?". "4:00" says bunghole. "Well make me a reservation now" says I. "We don't take reservations the day of" he counters. Could it be any more pretentious. Happy to spend my money somewhere else. They could've put it towards their neon sign fund.

Yelp
Great bar! We went here to celebrate a birthday and the staff was really accommodating and attentive. In particular Zoe went above and beyond for our group to ensure that we had a great time. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
This was the second time that I have been here. A table for four was already reserved for us in the front of the pub. I've invited my friend Vivian out for some drinks and plus she has never been to this pub before. We got a nice booth, a place to put our bags on the ledge, a place to put our coats on the edge of the booth and there was plenty of room for four or more people. When we got there, we were seated immediately and our server Eilish came to our table. I've asked her what her favorite drink was and she said it was paper planes. She also suggested P.S I love you but I wanted something a little stronger in taste and not too sweet. Paper planes was delicious. We've ordered a couple things off of the menu. I ordered the crispy cauliflower and the oysters- was so HAPPY that they had oysters this time. Vivian ordered the punched fries and the pork ribs which wasn't available so she ordered the chicken wings. Chicken wings came first, it was piping hot and delicious. The flavor of the wings was good and the sizes of the wings were huge! Great wings. The crispy cauliflower came soon after and it was nothing like I expected- it was BETTER. That has to be my favorite thing on their menu. The outside was crispy and the batter had a good seasoning and then when you bit into it, the cauliflower was just so soft and delicious. It is definitely a MUST try dish when you come here. The punched fries came next, totally forgot to order gravy on the side. Their fries are always amazing and we loved the russian dressing. Last app came, oh my oysters, they were so delicious. I wanted to order more but we had two other friends joining us. Eilish was super accommodating and a great server. She was quick to get us our shots and our second drinks. She didn't just serve us, she actually chatted with us and her recommendations on drinks was great. She constantly checked up on us and there was also a guy that was super quick in clearing our table for other things. Our table got crowded very quickly with empty glasses and plates and this guy was sooooooo quick and efficient! My second time here was a perfect experience from the second that I walked in and from the time that I've left. The food and drinks were great and the service was damn impeccable. Everyone at our table had no complaints and had an amazing time. Will definitely be back. TIPS: DO reserve a table in advance, the booth tables in the front were great. We didn't have to put our stuff on the floors or pile our jackets on a stool like last time and it was less crowded in the front. DO GET THE CRISPY CAULIFLOWER. I'm a girl who loves her meat but this was just so freaking delicious. Happy Eating Fellow YELPERS!!

Yelp
"Pretty tasty. It is a 3.8 in my books!" What time we arrived/Wait time? I arrived for lunch on a thursday! Not busy at all. Atmosphere? It is a more grungy vibe. Very young and hip environment and I can see a lot of young people loving this place on the weekends! Service/Staff? The staff and service was good! Nothing to complain about too much. Seemed like multiple people were serving us because it wasn't busy. Food/Menu/Pricing? The food was good. I did feel though - that I felt a little gross afterward. It was a lot of fried food that we tried like the mozza sticks, fish and chips, funghi pizza, and burgers. There isn't a huge selection of unique foods but it is good for what it is. The cheese they use isn't good quality because it rubbers up over time. I had the pork tacos which weren't bad - small portions but yummy sauces! The food is quite expensive as well. around 15-20$ per dish. I would come back for tapas and drinks but not on the regular. This is a beer hub so I recommend trying those!

Yelp
Oh Brunch, I can't say no to you. A friend was in Toronto from out of town, so we got 15 people and headed to Belfast Love. I mean, she was only in town for the weekend, I couldn't say no to brunch. Justifications aside, our table was ready as we trickled in. The coffee was hot, perfect for these chilly days. The Brioche French Toast was calling my name...not in a creepy serial killer kind of way, more of a seductive, sweet maple syrup kind of way. Several of my friends got the Chicken & Waffles. It was everything they thought it would be. The waffle was fluffy and the chicken was crispy. I was a little jealous. My French toast was perfectly browned yet fluffy and topped with a delightful blueberry lemon compote. It was definitely more blueberry than lemon, but there was enough for almost every bite. Yesssss... The service was pretty good. Even though the group was not overly punctual and people were coming and going, they still kept us happy and full. It was easy to flag a server down to order or get a bill; they were very prompt, but not kicking us out. This is definitely a hidden gem in the brunch world! They also have a fabulous beer and brunch drink menu. Go before the regular brunch crowd figures it out!

Yelp
Came into this spot based upon my guests recommendation. I really would have never ended up here if it wasn't for them wanting to come. The bar itself is not well located with a clear sign indicating where it is. I walked in and didn't know if I should walk up or down the stairs. The stairs are very steep and narrow so please be careful if you've had a few. The hostess at the front entrance was very nice she greeted me with a warm hello and seated me - I had a reservation. As soon as we were seated it took us about 20 minutes before a waitress could even come to us. This got worse as she was extremely slow with our orders. After we ordered our first drink it took over 15 minutes to receive it. After we ordered our second round those took another 20 mins. The place itself was not busy so I'm not sure why this was happening. I should probably just put it out here that I personally would have never came to a place like this. The crowd is more of a hipster, rowdy type crowd in which I'm not. The uniforms on the waitresses too were odd as well. They were barely clothed wearing a T-shirt for a dress.. um okay. I have to comment too that there was a strange odour that I kept smelling. I couldn't figure out what it was but it smelled really bad. We had to constantly hail waitresses even though they were right in front of us. They often stood with their backs towards us looking out into the far distance. Very strange. We decided to order some food so I settled on the mozzarella sticks and fries. The food came out quickly but left much to be desired. The mozzarella sticks should be ooey and gooey when you bite into them and they were not. They needed one more minute in the deep fryer. I found them quite pricey too at $12. I mean under other circumstances yes but not for this place. The fries were delicious. Salted beautifully and fresh. I very much enjoyed them. Would I come back? Nope. I gave this place a two stars because the service was extremely bad. They were not even busy which in that case I would have been more fair. I also wasn't a fan of the crowd. This is a simple bar. If your a person looking for a quick bite or drink this could be the place for you.

Yelp
Located on King W this is a good spot to meet up with friends (it's much larger than it looks like from the outside) and just chill over some food/drinks. Came here for lunch on a weekend and surprisingly it was pretty dead. Even with the half empty place the service was slllllllloooooooooowwwww. I ordered the ahi tuna bowl with kimchi and it was pretty good. It had that spiciness from the kimchi and the freshness from the tuna to balance it out quite nicely. It hit the spot as I had already eaten a heavy breakfast and was just looking for something light. The prices (for some of the lunch items) are a bit high for food, but then again you're on King W so I don't think it's too out of line for the area.
google avatar

Nabeela A.

Yelp
It's a good place for drinks, food is so so. The location is great so you can bar hop around the area. It he inside of the place can get too loud for comfort. It's hard to hear even the person in front of you.

Yelp
Ended up here as this was close to work, king street. Read good reviews. Wouldn't go again. There was one lady serving the whole area, she had too much on her hands. It took her sometime to return every time, due to the amount of tables she had to check on. Anyway, I asked her how the fish and chips were, and if she would recommend because I have eaten at places that really couldn't do any good and the server recommended and added "I think you would really like it" IT WAS BAD. I ended up not eating the four strips. I let the server know in a few mins of receiving our dinner that I didn't feel good about this and she didn't do anything- just apologized. Kinda random though, would have expected her to do something about it. Left the restaurant empty stomach.

Yelp
Surprisingly good food worth coming back for, and prices were decent for brunch. We had a reservation, but the restaurant wasn't busy at 11:30am on a Saturday. We ordered: Charred Eggplant Dip ($13) - 9/10. Surprisingly good! The dip was baked and the pitas were toasted and warm when served. The serving was quite generous. If I had to nitpick, I wish the dip was chunky instead of smooth. Chicken and Waffles with Egg ($18+2) - 10/10. The chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. The waffles were lightly sweetened and had a good crust. It was served with a berry sauce that was perfect for cutting the richness. I'd come back just for this, but next time I'd skip the egg. Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon ($15+2) - 7/10. This was pretty standard. The side salad was quite nice, but the potatoes were only okay.

Yelp
This place will get a lot of business due to the location and size of this place. However not being a fan of pub food the saving grace for this spot would have been the beer selection but sadly it was not to my liking (I like Belgian style and there was only one on tap this visit). The setup though big has a lot of tripping hazards IMO (i.e. elevated area for some seating) Otherwise if you are here to watch a sport you will find a screen. The service is decent. The food however falters. The burger I tried was devoid of taste and the bun became soggy very quick. The fries were cold as well. The service is decent. I would say 2.5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
This was a great place to have a beer and food. The food was delicious and moderately priced. Would definitely go there again!! It has a nice patio for a group with bench seating. When it gets sunny outside the restaurant releases awnings that really cool off the patio. Service was very speedy and all the staff were friendly and happy. Overall enjoyable experience!

Yelp
Was just there tonight and watched a guest get manhandled and drug into the kitchen/staff area. We heard him getting beat up. Honestly sick to my stomach. 30 minutes late never came out, we left: The waitress said it was a quiet night and this happened all the time. I asked the people across from me and they said this happens in Toronto
google avatar

Yelp
This pub is pretty cool. Communal tables and pretty spacious. The vibe is very chill. Their pints seem generous but that might just be because of the style of glass they use. Our server wasn't the nicest but I think it was because she was nearing the end of her shift, as someone else took over our table. I split a margherita pizza with a friend and it wasn't over the top amazing but was satisfactory. Someone mentioned the nude girl wallpaper in the washroom (I've attached a picture of it); I think it's pretty awesome. They have a brunch special which I would love to try!

Yelp
Came for drinks with friends.. i didn't eat but the food looks good. Like most places it looks very hip and trendy. This is a NJ boy visiting CAN for the 1st time. Great IPAs. -------- My group returns Saturday night at 9. We liked Belfast Love out of all the places we've been in Canada, so we decided to come here for our last night. Talked with the lovely ladies at coat check. Was able to have a small chat with Dan the GM, treated me and my friends excellently, got us seating at the bar, introduced us to the Chris the Bar manager. Chris began to tell us how the places evolves into a full blown club on weekend nights for the chatty trendy pub vibe we had thought it was like our 1st visit. Place gets super packed by 11. Tables pulled away, age range 20-mid 40s. Great drinks, excellent service. Excellent atmosphere, DJ places updated music playlists. I would highly recommend this place. Great way to spend our last night in Canada. 6/5 Stars

Yelp
Ok totally have to update my review as the manager reached out to me and personally thanked me for my review, SUPER AWESOME OF YOU JEFF :) Me and my boyfriend had such a wonderful time in Toronto and loved our time at Belfast they have a welcoming atmosphere and the music is great (two things i love about a bar) With the extra correspondence from the manager, makes me very eager to visit Toronto again!!!! If you are in the city and have a chance to stop by this bar, i would 1000% recommend it and you can take a super cute/trendy pic with their lovely neon sign outside for your snapchat and instagram. (: Can't wait to visit Toronto again and will definitely be stopping at Belfast!!!

Yelp
Belfast Love? Maybe Belfast Like. It's a pretty large space, with areas that can accompany large groups. There's also a pool table (or two?) and shuffle board. The decor was not the stereotypical British/Irish pub look you may be expecting, but had an industrial, modern feel. They offer brunch on weekends, and though the menu wasn't too big, there were some pretty good choices. Unfortunately for me, I seem to be making the wrong decision lately when ordering at brunch. In this case, I should've opted for a brunch item rather than the burger and fries I ordered. The brunch items at the table actually looked quite good, so by my visual and friends' feedback, it seems like a good bet. My burger was fairly good, with a thick patty made from meat that didn't taste like it had been frozen. The burger as a whole wasn't too big, but the stacked patty ended doing the job of filling me up. I know it's King West, but I wasn't very thrilled with the final bill. I opted for the avocado add in. My choice I know, but paying nearly $30 all in for a burger and fries with no drink just feels too steep for me, regardless of location. The place is still probably a safe bet as no one seemed disappointed by the food and it's a descent space. The pricing isn't really out of line for the area too, but I have seen better.

Yelp
I was out with a girl friend of mine on Saturday and it was a great atmosphere. It was very busy but Ayaka provided great service! She was super kind and found us a great spot. Overall great time at this pub - gets very busy at night. Good place to go dancing

Yelp
after reading positive star reviews on Google we thought it would be a good idea to try out Belfast Love. having previously dined at higher end venues like Lavecchia Lavelle and bar chef, my expectations were not very high for Belfast Love. entering we had a reservation and we're immediately seated which was good, but the hostess separated us was extremely rude and not wearing a mask properly. The attitude was uninviting and almost unsettling. as we sat down to our table we saw that nobody behind the bar was wearing their masks even though the manager or owner of the store was clearly present in the setting. during such a concerning time of Covid I am absolutely a palled that staff would be neglecting the use of their mask, especially making food to be consumed by customers, let alone IN FRONT of them! there were so many staff members present on the floor that they were almost more workers than customers, and the hostesses were chatting and looking lazy in front of customers while we were waiting for our bill or beverages. needless to say this experience was probably the worst I've ever had on King Street in my entire life and I will never be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone ever again.

Loretta S.

Yelp
Can't even begin. Made a res and charged $25 pp to hold. No one was even eating there. Forever to get drinks, limited menu of sub par grub. Pizza awful. Overpriced well bar cocktails. Asked for a cheese for a burger other than an American it was if I asked to go to the moon. No other cheese. Staff was ok but seemed very unorganized. Not recommended. Not to return. All 7 of us agree. 2 stars is pushing it

Yelp
We came here for drinks and finger foods. I must say their food is quite delicious. They seem to be lacking in terms of making cocktails. They can't even make simple stuff like tequila sunrise.... I took bartending class and that's one of the basic drinks you learn. I didn't test the bartender any further. I had one of their cocktails on the menu and it was decent. I just have a thing for sweeter cocktails. My coworker had the aperol spritz and it came out inconsistent. One was nicely layered and the other wasn't and the 3rd was not bad. This seem to be a popular drink here.

Yelp
I like this place! Music is hit or miss though depends on the night they have different Djs and play anything from hip hop to edm. The place gets super crowded before midnight and also very very hot! I constantly have to get out to get some fresh air. Drinks are good most bartenders are nice. There is one female bartender (blondish always wears a ponytail) who would not serve women or would be rude to remake customers. No joke she is very rude to all females (have noticed hat a few times). Last time I was there with my girlfriend she told us not to sit down at the bar (even though the seats were empty). She was constantly being rude when women were trying to order drinks. Thinking of writing an email to their management to let them know

Yelp
I came in for a few quick drinks while visiting friends in Toronto. The ambiance of the pub is light and fun and drinks are reasonably priced. However, I was met with a headache. After leaving my card on a tab with the bartender, I ordered two rounds of drinks for a friend and I. When I went to pay the tab, I discovered that my card was not only lost, but given to another patron who paid for drinks using my card. Luckily, the manager was kind, but when I first brought this up with the bartender, she tried to tell me that she had not served me. (The pub was not full at the time, so I was certain I placed both orders with her). After the manager and I determined that the missing card was given to another patron, he promised to refund the charge that they had paid. My card was never refunded. The customer service and lack of attention to detail at Belfast Love was extremely disappointing.

Yelp
We came around 7pm on a Saturday night to grab some drinks and a meal. Open space with some seating on both sides and a bar in the middle. I ordered a quinoa chicken salad which was nothing more than a freshii like salad . Music was good and not too loud, albeit the full dance floor and DJ start spinning tunes around 11pm. Huge TV displays to catch a live basketball or football game

Yelp
Cute spot. However customer service wasn't as attentive. I asked for water snd never got it. I asked for extra dipping sauce. Never got it. I ordered a burger - decent size (Slightly smaller if not the same as McDonald's burger) but for $18 bucks and a cup of fries? Not worth it. Beer selection is limited for the malty and wheaty enthusiasts. It was an ok experience.

Yelp
Definition elevated pub food! No weak links here. Cold, delicious craft beer, the cauliflower appetizer was the best of its ilk that I've had (and I've tried the fried cauliflower "wings" type dish a few places). Chicken avocado quinoa salad lovely, mozzarella sticks again best I've had! Portions super generous (my husband and I shared all three and couldn't finish). Service friendly, quick. I'll be back and so should you! One small complaint - the patio chairs are pretty uncomfortable.

Yelp
I used to see this place from afar from the 504 and say to myself 'one day.' That day finally came but due to the crazy heat, we chose inside seating. A nice, clean modern space that's surprisingly large. There's plenty of food and alcohol to keep you amused. We chose pizza. The margerhita pizza and I had the chicken pizza. I have to say - I was surprised by how good both were. I loved the margarita pizza with just basil and tomato but I have to say everything was in perfect balance. The crust was crispy and thin. Yum. The chicken pizza was just as good as true other one. Very happy to have tried this! I wasn't anticipating it to be good. Does make me want to come back and try other things. I do want to add - customer service was at our table was awesome. Couldn't have asked for better. I was a little worried because the woman at the desk was not very kind to us. Almost made me want to go elsewhere but glad to stay despite her grumpiness.

Yelp
I've walked past this bar so many times not really thinking much of it, but it's actually a great chill place! Love sitting on the patio overlooking King St. I had the Left Field Sour (blackcurrant?) and it was really good! Kind of like fruit punch. They don't serve late night food but otherwise a great spot for a night out, especially summer!

Yelp
Terrible service. I asked if we could find a seat at a table and got terrible attitude from the blonde waitress and she told me to go where ever. Then waited 10 mins so he asked what we wanted. After ordering just one round of drinks, she came with the bill asking us to leave, and then kept the entire change thinking she deserved to be tipped. Then when asked to give the change back she rudely slammed it on the table. Place has great vibes hence the one star but service is everything and it was terrible.

Yelp
As a former Vancouverite, I was expecting to hate Belfast Love (Donnelly bars don't have a great reputation in Van, mostly because they're taking over the city and are all very similar) - but Belfast Love was pretty good! The food was good, much better than expected - I had the butternut squash sandwich which was very unique - grilled butternut squash with halloumi cheese, avocado, and cucumber on multigrain bread. There could have been more veggies on the sandwich but the flavours were very good. I also tired the fries which were very good. I sat at the bar on the patio, which was nice - lots of plants and little lights and fairly spacious. (One thing to note is that the bar on the patio seems to have only 6 or 7 beers on tap, while the menu for the rest of the restaurant has quite a few more.) Unfortunately the service wasn't great, the bartenders and servers seemed more interested in talking to each other about their weekends than seeing how we were doing or getting our bill, but overall a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I'm in the area.

Yelp
I have been to this location a few times for both dinner service and the fun pub/dance club vibe it turns into on busy nights. This place will get PACKED and it will get LOUD! First the food. It is the your standard pub food, but I especially love their fried Cauliflower, it is just so expertly fried and dressed. It just taste soooo good and flavourful with the right amount of bite. Whenever I order this one I always have to consider ordering TWO plates since once your friends try just ONE they will want more, even if they deny it, you can see it in their faces that they just want some more of the tasty morsel. At night they will turn the music way up, playing your usual popular music with some throwbacks in there. If you go there expecting to have a dinner to catch up with friends, don't expect to be able to hear anything your friends say once the party gets started!!!
