Belgian Wines

One of my favourite bars in Antwerp! The focus is to use only Belgian products, including wine and food. Wines are not overpriced, starting from 4 euros and have a great taste. I took the special wine cocktail which was so refreshing and delightful! Apart from that, we took the cheese platter but unfortunately they misunderstood me and brought the mixed platter. As a vegetarian we still decided to eat the meat as it looked so unbelievably tasty, which it absolutely was! The platter for 1 person is definitely enough for 2 persons, especially if you’ve already aten dinner before. Highly recommended!

Tiny but trendy wine bar with friendly staff. Only downside is that the place smells of fried food due to its tiny kitchen, which is not ideal if you go for a wine tasting…

A very lovely place located not far from the city center which serves local wines, as well as cheeses and charcuterie. Unfortunately, we have not yet had a chance to try their charcuterie selection, but we really enjoyed the small cheese platter and the wines we decided to order. We sat outside the bar, but the interior of the place looks very cozy. The service was fast and the person attending us was friendly and kindly introduced us the wines and the cheeses we ordered. I think it is something that is not done too often and I highly appreciated it. It is always nice to know a thing or two about what you consume. The only slight disadvantage is that the selection of wines at this place is very limited. Nonetheless, I am sure that all of them are as great tasting as the ones we had a chance to try. Moreover, I have not yet come across a similar bar where you can enjoy specifically local wines, cheeses, and charcuterie, as most of them serve beers. I cannot wait to visit this place again and try more of the local wines and specialties 👏 P. S. I highly recommend the Adelblank (Kapittelberg) white wine, which is simply delicious. It is fruity and slightly sweet, but not overwhelming at all!

A cozy bar with a great selection of local wines. A great possibility to get familiar with Belgian wines! Delicious food, friendly service, convenient location. Highly recommend!

Amazing selection of wonderful wines with a story everytime to tell you about it and a cheese and meat platter if your heart desires...very nice

Great atmosphere, nice wine and amazing cheese! We were at Belgian Wines with 10 girls for a wine tasting with cheese accompaniment. The prior consultation with the team was great and problem-free. All our wishes, even extra wishes, were fulfilled by the team! The atmosphere on site was very pleasant and created a good mood. The wine was great, water was served with the wine and the explanation was very helpful! We were also very impressed by the cheese served with it. All in all a great experience and I can only recommend a wine tasting at Belgian Wines. :)

Quaint wine bar with… yes, you guessed it, Belgium Wines. Definitely worth a visit especially when you need a break from the delicious beer this country has on offer.

On a sunny Sunday my husband and I went for a walk and stumbled upon Belgian Wines. So we thought why not? The interieur is low key and is both a wine bar and a wine shop. You can sit and enjoy a glass or buy a bottle to go. We decided to do both and the wines didn't disappoint. There are also meat and cheese plates available - maybe next time! We spoke briefly with one of the owners about the shop. If you eat around Antwerp, a lot of the wines will look familiar. It turns out that Belgian Wines is their supplier. I am a strong believer in eating local, so I really like that Belgian wines are being promoted in the city. Plus they're delicious! The only thing holding me back from a full 5 stars is that there was a full table when we arrived of tourists and once they left, the two waitresses spent a good 5 minutes loudly making jokes and mocking them. I mean, the bar is not so big, so my husband and I were both a bit uncomfortable. If they make fun of them, are they going to make fun of us too when we leave? That won't stop me from returning, but will make me hesitant to stay too long in the shop.
