Disappointing Experience – Unfair Treatment and No Parking as Promised We are on a 3-week trip starting from Zagreb, covering several Balkan countries and ending with a 10-day beach holiday in Greece. For our stops, we specifically searched for hotels with parking, rooms with either tiled or parquet flooring, and a Booking.com score above 8. Based on these criteria, we chose this hotel. However, upon arrival, the receptionist told us very clearly that there was absolutely no parking available. Just five minutes later, a Serbian family arrived and was allowed to park directly next to my car. The receptionist didn't even ask for their name or booking number—he immediately guided them to a secured parking area belonging to the hotel. When I asked again, I was strictly told to park in a public parking area and that my car must be moved by 7 a.m. the next day. My concerns were dismissed abruptly. When I brought this issue to the manager, I realized that unless you are Serbian in this region, your voice doesn't seem to matter. We have filed a complaint with Booking.com and are waiting to see the result. To make matters worse, the rooms are tiny, poorly maintained, and the staff are generally unhelpful. Constant noise from internal operations (possibly plumbing or ventilation) made our stay even more unpleasant. I do not recommend this hotel and would not return.

The hotel was excellent! It’s in a perfect location – just a short walk from Skadarlija, Republic Square, and the city centre overall. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. Since we were travelling by car, I reserved a parking spot in advance. Just a heads-up: the hotel only has 5 spaces (understandable for such a central spot), so it’s best to plan ahead. Breakfast was fantastic – a great mix of savoury and sweet options, fresh fruit, and more. Our room was bright and spotless, and the bathroom had everything you could possibly need. Can’t recommend it enough!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is wonderful with a wide selection. Upon request, the parking is provided in front of the hotel. However, the ground floor room is too narrow with no access to the bed, which is wedged between 3 walls right next to the entrance door. This is an unusually poor design choice. The room's window faces a cramped space between walls and is quite dark without natural light. I do not recommend it at all! Try with other rooms.

Belgrade Inn Garni Hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Republic Square and is walking distance from many of the main amenities in Belgrade.||The staff were friendly on arrival and our room was ready before our official check in time.||We stayed in room 306. This was a room for four occupants with two double beds. We felt the room was a bit small for four people, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a slight issue with one of the plug sockets hanging out by its wires.||There was a good continental/cooked selection at breakfast. The selection ranged from yogurts, cereals, croissants, cheeses to scrambled egg, sausage and bacon. We found breakfast to be good overall although the bacon was a bit thick and fatty for me. The milk jug for cereal was also a bit lukewarm, I would’ve preferred the milk to be chilled.||We didn’t try the gym or sauna facilities but they appeared to be open all day. ||Overall, we had a nice stay at Belgrade Inn Garni Hotel. Given the convenient location of the hotel and how comfortable the beds were, I would stay again if I was in Belgrade.

I stayed at the Belgrade Inn Garni for a few nights, and while there were some good aspects, there were also a few downsides.||The Good:||The location is great—just a 2-minute walk from Republic Square, making it really easy to explore Belgrade on foot. The reception staff were excellent, super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was also good, with a wide selection of both Serbian and international options, including fresh croissants, eggs, meats, and cheeses. ||The Not-So-Good:||The downsides. First, the room was unbearably hot—it was 28°C when we arrived, and despite adjusting the air conditioning, it didn’t seem to cool down properly. Sleeping was uncomfortable because of it.||Then there was the cigarette smoke issue. While the rooms are officially non-smoking, the reception area reeked of smoke—stepping into it felt like going back in time to when smoking indoors was the norm. Worse still, the towels in our room smelled of smoke, which was really unpleasant.||Lastly, the toilet paper situation was unacceptable. Instead of proper rolls, there was a cheap public restroom-style dispenser with thin, scratchy paper—not what you’d expect from a hotel.||If location and breakfast are your priorities, this hotel delivers. But if you’re sensitive to smoke, prefer a comfortably cooled room, or expect decent toilet paper, you might want to look elsewhere.

Great location close to Republic Square and the popular Skadarlija neighbourhood. Very accommodating to a late check-in and organising airport transfers. The free buffet breakfast is a fine way to start the day.

Fantastic location off Republic Square, comfortable rooms, really safe, lovely bathroom quiet, good breakfast, helpful staff, only critism was the tea and coffee facilities - no robust stirrers/spoons and no milk. Otherwise a good stay. Would recommend.

I want to highlight this hotel, which, besides its highly central location in relation to all the attractions that can be visited, boasts an extremely efficient and genuinely collaborative staff. I didn't book the reserved parking service and was unpleasantly surprised to receive a fine. After encountering several complications due to a rather opaque debt collection system employed by the company managing parking in Belgrade, I reached out to the hotel staff who, in a remarkably short time, settled the fine online without expecting reimbursement. Such a truly unique and highly appreciated gesture.I want to highlight this hotel, which not only has an exceptionally central location near all the major attractions, but also features a highly efficient and genuinely collaborative staff.
