Belizean Arts

This art store has a lot of nice local art. In addition to paintings they also carry wood carvings, stone lamps and quite a few other items.

This store is truly a gem! There are many very nice paintings, wood pieces, ornaments, jewelry and t-shirts at this at store. All of the pieces are Belizean and there are many choices. The owner is very gracious and can ship your pieces, but I will say that if you purchase a painting on canvas, they can take it off the stretchers, roll it and then take it into a length of PVC pipe that travels very well in a suitcase if it will fit. You enter the store off of the covered courtyard where the is a bar just off of Barrier Reef Drive. If you like art and you are on Ambergris Caye, this is a must stop.

This place was so great. Bought ourselves some art and got a few gifts also! Everyone working here is so kind, and they feature some great artists!

Wonderful and collerfull paintings from 12 different local Belizian artist! Highly recomand this place where you can wonder around and find your own way of the imagination of belize for on your home wall!

Beautiful selection of art handmade in Belize by local artists. My second time visiting (the two visits multiple years apart) and it was just as good as I remembered. A must visit while in San Pedro.

While i was in belize i Stopped by at this place just out of curiosity. Lots of amazing art from local artists. The gal in the shop was really nice and helpful. There were some amazing paintings that I wish I could have brought home with me. I didn't take pictures since there are signs saying "no pictures". If in the area and even if you are not an art enthusiast, stop by, it is worthwhile. They have a second location a few steps from this one.

Always worth stopping by. They have a great selection of Belizean art at reasonable prices. I purchased two paintings and a few prints over the years and it's a great souvenir from our trip. Great way to capture your memories!
