I like this place. It’s better than Kohl’s now. It feels like COVID killed the clearance rack department store, but BELK is still doing it. They have some good clothing and you can usually find a good price. Make sure to download the app and use the stores WiFi. You can scan any barcode and it’ll show you the price with discounts. I like that ability.

As a Senior citizen who's 83 and loves to shop at Belks, why is it so difficult for the Alliance store to have enough carts for shoppers?I've been 2 times in past 2 weeks to shop,and ZERO CARTS! One employee told me the store only has about 20 carts. That's definitely not encouraging to make me want to continue to shop there. I can't be the only Senior, Handicapped or able bodied person who needs a cart to shop.Buy more carts for shoppers. I left without a single purchase !!

This store has everything for the family and home. Sales associates are super helpful! Plus, prices are great!

On May 10 I used my credit card at this Belk for a perfume purchase in excess of $120. On May 22 this Belk processed another charge for the exact same amount, without credit card present. Thank goodness my bank notified me of this fraudulent charge so I could dispute the charge. In the meantime, the 2nd invalid charge remains on my account. My bank has locked up my card because of this right before a big trip and I will not get the new card until after I have left. Belk, your dishonesty, at the very least irresponsibility, has put me in a real bind. I will not ever be back in your store. Ditto goes for my family and, I hope, anyone who sees this review and is smart enough to stay clear of your dishonest business practices. Your stores are dead. Empty. You are a brand of the past. Just close already.

If you are looking for a suit this is the place. Deborah in the men's department has been spot on in helping me find suits for my boys. The price's are good and Deborah makes it easy for boys/men that don't want to shop. I keep going back.

There was alot of sales going on here. Black Friday deals and regular sales. My husband got a nice coat for 65% off. The only downside is some of the sales required a coupon which you get from the app but there wasn't service in the store to download the app. There is something for everyone here from men's, women's and children's clothing to shoes and housewares and department store brand makeup counters!

Only place I found in Weatherford that had longer board shorts and a good selection. Download the app and get extra discounts.

Deceptive “sales.” Bought two pairs of Haggar khaki pants that were on “sale” for $49.95, the original price was ripped off and a $100.00 sticker was added on the tag. A simple google search showed that they are sold for $45 on the Haggar website. Won’t get anymore business from me. If you like being scammed, by all means. Not me.

When I'm preparing to go shoe shopping, dress shopping or handbag shopping Belk typically doesn't come to my mind as one of the stores I'm going to peruse for my next purchase. Honestly, the only thing that put Belk on my radar today is the fact that I recently put the Rakuten app on my phone and this store popped up as a participant. And also, since it's the holidays I could end up anywhere shopping for gifts. I did buy a nice, festive queen sheet set and a super cute baby gift for my granddaughter. Speaking of my granddaughter, I do not recommend shopping here with your baby or toddler unless you have their stroller with you. This Belk has the tiniest shopping cart model made I'm pretty sure. And the baby/ toddler/ children's department is at the very back of the store.

We went shopping on Wednesday there and Tiffany and Renee were amazing! We will definitely come back!

What would have taken a Belk employee 2 seconds to do (security tag removal), is taking me an undiscovered time limit to do myself.

Staff is always very friendly. I love shopping here. Always fast and convenient and I always get a lot for my money.

I didn't love my experience here. I stopped in looking for boots and did look around the store a little. For one, it was the weekend after Thanksgiving, so they may have been trying to put things back in order, so I will give them a pass. It was actually better than I expected, given that they were restocking all of the shoes. The issue I had: there were two male employees that seemed to be standing around talking, complaining about when they could go to lunch. They never asked of the could help me find anything, they just stood there yapping & complaining. I didn't really need help, but I would have preferred to shop without listening to them. The other staff that checked me out at the register was very friendly & thus why I gave them 3 stars instead of 2.

Love this store Want good clothes at a good price check out this department store. For makeup, kitchen items, bedroom to bathroom and all the clothes for babies to adults- shoes too!!! The employees that work there really try very hard to to get what you want or they will order it for you and have it shipped to your house for Free! . WOW

Came here for some last minute holiday shopping in mid-December and the place was a madhouse. I'd say 40% of the store was in disarray - items in spots where they shouldn't be, empty shelves, long checkout lines, tired and frustrated customers. Having been here before, I know it's not normally like this. For the most part, Belk has a decent selection of clothes, home goods, jewelry, and kids items. I think their "catch" is that they sell name brand items at a discounted price. Not sure how they define discounted because they still have clothing on the high side of any budget. Lucky Jeans that you may save $10 at Belk but they're still $80-$100 jeans. It's always worth checking out the sales racks as you're bound to find something that's worth your money. Service is so-so, like I said the place was insane when I last visited so workers weren't the most willing to assist as they were too busy slaving over the messy racks or handling those extra long checkout lines. Looking back, it just makes online shoping all the more attractive during any time of the year.

I receive about 3 coupons per week from Belk. All stating that they are good on regular and sale price items. EVERY time I try to use one I am told they dont apply! When I ask the store clerks they shrug their shoulders and state they don't know...must be a "bonus buy". Wouldnt those items be marked as such?? Very frustrating shopping at Belk.

I drove 30 minutes to shop at this location and found out after I collected my items to try on that all dressing rooms are closed! Apparently you can shop and touch everything in the store, but it's completely unsafe to try on clothes because of COVID. Give me a break. I'm not buying clothes that I'm not allowed to try on first, therefore I won't be shopping here again. Very disappointed in the lack of common sense here.

I wish I could one million ZERO stars!!!!! I went yesterday and was horrified by the condition of the store. I have never ever ever seen a store this bad. Not Walmart, not Ross, not even a garage sale! Where are the managers?! Where are district managers?!!!!!

Definitely made improvements overall! Pretty good selection now, and the employees are always nice. Love this location cation!

I bought some cute sandals from belk on Saturday but my trips to belk are few and far in between. Overall, my opinion of belk is they are way overpriced, the quality of many of their clothes are low quality and for the price you would think the. Customer service would be top notch but I've learned to bring my expectations down when I come here. I would not recommend Belk if you don't want to throw your hard earned money away.

It's sad to see the decline of Belk which was once a solid department store with helpful associates, well organized displays, and fair prices. My mailbox and e mail are flooded with worthless, annoying coupons which never seem to be valid. Every Belk store I have visited in the last year or so has been messy and disorganized. Good luck trying to find someone to ring you up and don't expect any associate to be able to help you with merchandise or answer questions. The search functions on their website do not work and I have experienced a problem every time I have attempted to place an online order. Valid complaints sent to Belk by e mail are ignored. The conditions of Belk's stores and website is shameful and has driven me to other merchandisers. I don't think it will be long until Belk becomes another Sears....a pitiful example of mismanagement and greed ruining an American institution.

I will NEVER step foot in this place again. The women at the Estée Lauder counter that were working today 4/20 at around 3 pm were incredibly snobbish and rude. If the gift with purchase was past then say that! Instead they tried to tell me I had to spend more than the $37.50 in order for them to CHOOSE to give it to me. She specifically stated that they had "a few more but were using it to their benefit." Wow! Never again will I spend a dime at belk or on Estée Lauder products.

Every time I've gone to this location, I have always had a good experience. The staff has always been nice to me, even when I have to do a return. I love that they carry a lot of different brands and have so many departments. One of my favorite places to shop.

Worse customer service ! They don't match their own price online and certain coupons don't apply .

I went with my mom and daughter. We were purchasing a perfume set, but wanted to look at other things. The older lady at the EL counter held it for us. We then looked at men's Cologne at the next counter. We wanted to purchase several things at the second counter so my daughter went to the other perfume counter to get the set being held for us. The EL woman yelled at her and told her she had to pay for it there. So she took another perfume set from the shelf. The woman yelled at her again and then yelled at the woman helping us and told her she had to ring it up under her employee number. The Estee Lauder lady was incredibly rude! At that point I wanted to leave and not purchase anything! I apologized to the girl at the men's counter. She said she was used to it. I felt so bad for her!

Giving only one star because I had to. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Don't bother calling either, you'll get put on hold for 15-20min, then when you get through they are rude. If you plan on shopping here just save the hassle and go online, in store is NOT worth the trouble.

modern southern style includes plenty of frills, Ralph Lauren & Chaps. This place has a tiny juniors section, and a huge women's section...shows you who their target customer is. Give it a try if you have a coupon- sometimes they run good sales.

I was there yesterday for the first time. I have recently moved to Ft. Worth from Atl. I have a Belk card and was excited to know that this store is a mile from my house. This store was disorganized and messy which is a shame because I like Belks and have done much shopping in the past at other stores in three states. I was in need of some help yesterday and couldn't find anyone who worked there. I will be contacting the corporate office and discussing the poor state of their store. This seems to be a trend in this store that I want rectified do that I can shop there. Lol

Messy. Yuck. Shoes, clothes, everything is in disarray. Bathroom was disgusting, actual poo on the floors and all over one of the stalls. Toilet paper everywhere. Won't go back. The one at the galleria in Dallas is kept neat and clean.

For a slow Saturday night cloths are everywhere, tossed here and there like rags all over the store. I went in here looking for Melissa Mccarthy's new cloths line that is listed on her site that she is in stores at belk and all the cashiers that I asked didn't even know who she was. This store looked worse then Walmart on black Friday

I LOVE BELK! It is definitely my go-to store. I was surprised when I visited 2 weeks ago because the store was totally different with new vendors, but the area I shop in was MUCH larger, which made me VERY happy. I love my Belk card, the sales, coupons, and ALWAYS save lots of money on each trip. When my daughters visit, they always want to go there because they don't have a Belk where they live and they get to save because I always have a coupon. They always find just what they're looking for, and the clearance racks are a must to peruse. They have a wonderful selection of girls clothes for my granddaughters; however, the boys toddler section is very small. I have always had good encounters with all the staff; always friendly and helpful, and any customer service area will check me out. I have NEVER seen my store look the way pictures posted look. It is always neat and clean, and so are the restrooms. My only reason for not giving Belk a 5-star is that I feel strongly the poor shoe department needs some additional help, and the store is too warm to shop many times. Customers will shop longer if they're not sweating it up in the dressing room. We're in Texas, folks!!

Not enough registers opened tonight. Customers looking for cashiers...oops found one looking for boots for herself and a friend. She hurried back and was going to ring out her friend when her friend graciously stepped aside and allowed me to be helped first.

Horrible Store. Very messy and disorganized. Nice merchandise but store is so cluttered you cant even move between the isles with out knocking clothes off racks or clothes all over the floor. hire help for the prices they charge this store should always be in order.

I have never wrote a review before but holy crap this is the worst store ever. There are never any workers anywhere. Management is EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL when asked for. I wish I could give ZERO stars. AWFUL WAY TO RUN A COMPANY! I'm surprised they are still in business.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I found a cute pair of DISPLAYED shoes and tried them on and walked around during shopping to see if they are comfortable enough because I have herniated disc. I thought it would be better for them instead of just buying them and actually wearing them outside then returning them! and I really liked their shoes so asked for the new pair. But they were out of it. So, I put them back on the shelf and walking toward the register to pay for my other stuff. Then this Sales manager came with a security guard and told me that I ruined those shoes so I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM. She said that it is a Belk Policy. She said that in front of people and a cashier. I felt humiliated and threatened. Then she walked away, when I went to the register, she called the cashier to make sure that I pay for them. I was very upset. They treated me like a criminal. She said she could check the camera and prove that I walked in those shoes, which I never denied. I asked her about the return policy and she said I could return them in 6 months. WHAT IS THE POINT???? SO IS IT BETTER TO JUST BUY THEM AND WEAR THEM OUTSIDE THEN RETURN???? IT WAS NONSENSE. and the way they treated a customer??? bringing a security guard?? I would NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS BELK.

I really like Belks. It has been my go-to store for just about anything, but it has changed owners and I don't go there as much. It was easy to locate items but now they've changed things around and I just don't have the time to hunt. Remember the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? They have good sales but not nough sales people too.

Recently I went in to purchase a new Michael Kors bag. I have purchased 2 from this store in the past 2 months, and have a credit card with belk. I knew exactly which bag I was looking for, and came in because I had another 20% off coupon (per usual at Belk). I wanted to see if the bag was on sale, because it seems they are always having some kind of sale on their bags from my experiences in the past. I politely asked the woman to scan the price on the computer to check. She was reluctant since the bag was a new color for the season. Ok whatever no big deal, I would just like you to scan it and check I don't appreciate the attitude. I can afford the bag, but still would like to save money when possible, yet she treated me like a bum that did not have the money. It was not on sale, ok fine. No big deal. I pull out my 20% off coupon to use it, and she proceeds to tell me that they don't nor have they ever accepted percent off discounts of Michael Kors products, without even being bothered to scan it. This is a completely untrue statement, considering I have ALWAYS used a 20% off the bags I have purchased in the past. Heck I signed up for a credit card for the 20% off coupons!!! I tried to explain this to her, but she refused to hear what I had to say. I told her I did not want the bag and would come back another day to buy from someone else. I don't care to buy from someone who lies straight to my face. I will go to the MK store before I buy from this woman. At least they are busy being kind trying to up sell me there for commission. The store is relatively messy and disorganized, and service is hit or miss when I go in to pay my bill each month. Not to mention I pay my bill off in full every month and am the highest level member. Talk about mistreatment of a good customer! On another note I have on occasions had very exceptional service at this store in the past, but due to this employee in an unbearably tacky dress, my rating will be lower.

The management must treat their employees poorly. Every time I have gone into Belk there seems to always be an issue. Either an encounter with a condescending employee to unable to find someone to help me. It has taken my up to 15 minutes to find someone who had the time to check me out at the register. I tried to return an unworn shirt with the tag still attached and the cashier named Glen was the rudest elderly lady I have met. She seemed miserable to be there. She spoke down to me and belittled me when I told her the shirt was too big so I would like a return. She didn't except the shirt back because the tag was slightly torn. If or when I return to this store and see her at the register I will turn around or ask for another employee to check me out.

I saw the bad reviews and I don't know of any time I have EVER went into this store and it was messy. I love this Belks! Yes sometimes when they have a big shoe sale the CUSTOMERS leave crap all over the place! And for the one that was putting them down because they have a nice Womens selectios, it is about time that a store carried what the women that have the money need!! Us old broads still do the majority of shopping and its nice to know I can find what I need at SOMe store!!!

I went in because I knew there was a sale, I found the store to be disorganized and dirty. The shoe department was a disaster and boxes of shoes everywhere. I was looking for a new suit, but was unable to find even one suit.

Belk staff has changed drastically since you all have been here, I believe it's much better in terms of friendly staff, I work here now and so far I have not encountered an unpleasant co-worker.. come see us, we won't let you down! Men's department is where you'll find me.. I'd be happy to make your experience the very best that I possibly can. As for the coupons, exclusions do apply, however there's promotions all the time when you sign up for credit (I know to some it's scary, because it is for myself as well, but you can automatically pay off .... As of right now in store we accept payments or cash or checks, but getting online and paying with debit card is really simple, AND NO INTEREST!!) RIGHT NOW WE HAVE 40% OFF when you're approved for our rewards, which serves both as credit and you earn rewards along the way. There was a sale today and the store was beautiful, well stocked and clean. The help was, as always, quite helpful. There were plenty of well marked sales and sizes from XS to 3X. I've shopped there often and never found it dirty or disorganized. There are little buggys for the kiddo's and small carts for purchases. But I don't believe they carry womens suits.
