Belk Jacksonville is terrific. Great selection of clothes at really good prices. The employees are all very friendly and I shop here often. They have a really great rewards program as well. It's free to sign up and you accrue good discounts very quickly. Terrific store.

I placed an online order for pick up. I’m 100% sure I was sold someone’s returned bag. No tags, no stuffing paper, and a couple of stains inside a pocket. If I’m paying a lot of money for a product, then I expect it to be NEW. Will be returning.

Two cashiers working. And one is chatting with customers for the longest time the line is about 15 people deep and over a 30 minute wait. This is ridiculous. This is my third time ever to this store and it’s the same experience every time

I could not find one item that was made in America here. All of the prices reflect as if it was made here, but it is all foreign products. Also, if you're looking for anything for young males, this is not the store. The saddest selection for boys' clothes I have seen so far.

Topical Belks and prices. The staff was helpful but other store in the mall near their prices.

I was 2nd in line at jewelry counter when the person ahead of me asked for something from makeup. Service person left to help her and spent the next 20 min there with same customer while there were 3 customers waiting in jewelry. I finally approached her to ask if anyone else could help in jewelry and she said she would call someone (at the time she was straightening displays). I gave up and left along with at least one other customer. I would think much more money is being spent in jewelry as opposed to makeup. They just lost a $300 sale by informing me.

Had to return bras purchased from Wilmington. Long wait line to return but once I got up to the counter, service was great. Staff was polite, and no hassle returning the items.

This is the first time I've ever in my life gone into and visited a Belk store. I honestly wasn't impressed. It's basically on the equivalence of visiting a lower quality Kohls with more women's clothing and accessories. Store is clean and quiet. Plenty of accessories to check out. I loved the selection and the sales where excellent. Using the barcode scanner on the app helped me see sales prices. I left with 3 dresses and a light sweater for $50. The cashier said I saved over $100. They had a good selection of sunglasses, jewelry, juniors and shoes. The styles are classic coastal southern.

Horrible time dealing with chat online trying to place an order and I had 3 chat reps that were completely worse and worse by the second the first one named Garrett was in a rush and short the second nakia was rushing me and short as well and the third was Sebastian WHO ENDED A CHAT if I could give you negative stars I would there is a few chat reps one named Jessica p and Kimberly b. These ladies have helped my mother before Kimberly b helped my mother and sister and she even translated over phone as well as chat if you go to shop go through online or call only go through Jessica p and Kimberly b they seemed to help and get straight to the point

Horrible service at the perfume counter. Was ready to buy two bottles over $100ea but the service was so bad I just left and drove to Wilmington and got what a needed at Macy's. At Belk the woman was rude and after waiting patiently for almost 30min she blatantly told me she wouldn't give me any samples unless I buy something first. I only wanted two samples. She said "we don't make any money handing out free samples". I explained I wanted to make sure I could get two samples of my favorite two since it was a gift so they could try before opening to make sure they liked it. She said if you buy something I "might" give you some. If I hadn't wasted so much of my time already I would've asked for a manager with the way she talked to me. Well they won't make a dime off me I'll take my business elsewhere.

The post-hurricane newly reopened and remodeled store is beautiful, well-stocked with popular designer labels and good quality house brands. Aisles are wide and uncluttered; staff was friendly, helpful, and available! New centralized checkout layout akin to Marshall's means fewer checkout "islands" and more room for merchandise and display. All in all gives impression of classier, more upscale store. Now if they can just about the impulse to crowd those beautiful wide aisles with rack after rack of crammed full displays as they did before, giving appearance of poorly organized thrift store.

Hello. My friend and I went to Belks last month to find a new suit for him. He had lost over 100 lbs and did not know what size to get. The young man in men's wear spent some time helping him. I was impressed with the time and effort he went to in order to assist him. My friend was able to get a major brand suit coat, slacks, and vest for about $200. I would definitely recommend this Belks.

I had not been back to Belk since the storm, however, I was amazed at the improvements they made. The store is so bright and clean, it makes you want to stay longer and shop. Although I could not find what I was looking for, the manager Chris, had Samantha check the Belk website for what I wanted. The customer service is awesome and despite only going to Belks twice in my life, I felt like such a valued customer! I also came during a time when they had door busters and made out with some good deals. I would def return!

Belk in Jacksonville, NC had me (50 yo)arrested in the store while I was being helped by cashier!!!!! If you shop here you may be discriminated against /harassed/ arrested.The cashier scanned and checked my bags 3 times after sensor activated prior to me exiting the store. The cashier was trying to help me figure out why the sensor was going off as I approached the door (3 times I returned to cashier for help)! I never tried to exit store!

This place is a freakin disaster! There are literally clothes on the floor, tables are all unfolded, clothes were laid out in piles behind the register!!! It was embarrassing to even walk through this location. The women's department was the worst. Do they have employees or managers working there? Are they about to close? It was hideous!! Clean this place up! The dollar stores looked 100 times better.

I drove a group of woman to Belk today in Jacksonville for the gift cards that they were giving out at 4pm. We arrived at approximately at 3:40pm and got in line. One of the woman with me was a disabled Vet. We waited walked thru the line and when we got to the door the manager had a stack of cards left but said that only those people with tickets could get a gift card. This was not what the advertisement say or the mailing they sent us which we had with us, or the notes on the doors. It clearly stated the first 250 people which we were within. He still had gift cards but refused to give them out even though NO one behind us had tickets either. I have been loyal to Belk and so has my family but this Holiday Season so far they have stopped letting the salvation army red buckets be there and now they have disrespected those that served. If they had advertised that you had to get a ticket before waiting in line that would have been fine but they did not. It stated the first 250 people. If their were cards left when we got to the door we should have received them. The manager was standing there with cards so we should have been given them. I will not be shopping at Belk.

I have had an account since 1971 with Belks. Lately I went in to purchase a wedding gift. The wedding department is extrememly limited with no one to advise. As I was attempting to pay for the gift, I happened to look around the cash register area just to see stacks and stacks of "junk" and clothes, hangers etc. The floor was in such a mess that the cust. service gal had to step over items. As she was ringing up my purchase I saw an item a short way from the desk that I was interested in purchasing. the only problem was that I could NOT get to it because of the unbeliveable pile of objects. this belks has become a very "bargain basement" poorly manged and possible dangerous store. Wonder what the Fire Marshall would have to say?
