I had a wonderful experience shopping at Belk thanks to two amazing employees. Patty went out of her way to help me find a coupon for a dress I had my eye on—she was kind, patient, and really made me feel like a valued customer. Katherine also stepped in and helped me pick out a beautiful belt that matched perfectly. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to get that level of personalized service these days. Thanks again, Patty and Katherine!

Unless one wants a tetanus shot after shopping here please avoid like the plague it is. I’ve been a few times over the past year and a half and chalked it up to the cleaning crew not showing up at first, but no, this place is consistently disgusting. I’m embarrassed for everyone that has to work in these conditions.

I have had an absolutely awful experience every time i come here. Management is extremely rude and unhelpful, and made me feel very unwelcome. The employees rarely say a word and act like it’s an inconvenience to ask them a question. I will not be returning to this store, nor would i recommend this store to anybody else. I ended up going upstairs to another store and had the experience i was hoping to have at Belk, workers were friendly and eager to help out. Don’t even get me started on how expensive this store is. For these prices i expect to be treated with respect, it’s a shame management has refused to do anything after multiple complaints. The store is extremely unorganized and dis functional. I will not be back here again, do better Belk management, you should be ashamed!!

Can be pricey but tends to run good deals, especially on their app. I like to go here for my child and get good deals. I’ve also scored some pretty awesome deals on shoes. It always smells amazing but I never pay full price for perfume so I always last that section up lol. They have so much to sift through. Can find lots of items here that you may not find elsewhere. It’s also split into two buildings.

I went into Belk this evening to buy dishes. None of things in that department had prices on them. I went up to the counter and said, “Excuse me but none of the Spode dishes have prices on them and I was wondering if you could help me find out the prices please.” Bridget, the salesperson, let out an exasperated sigh and began speaking to me as if I were a child, “This is why YOU have to get the app. You have to have the App and you have to look up the prices!” The way she spoke to me was unprofessional and unacceptable. She was not busy. The store was almost completely empty. If this is Belk’s idea of customer service, I will gladly shop anywhere else in the future.

First, I want to say I love shopping at Belk. It just saddens me that our Belk does not warrant a remodel, especially in the Women’s Dept. bathroom. We have people who travel to Johnson City from Virginia and North Carolina. It’s embarrassing. I have left messages when managers were in meetings. I have typed reviews on the Belk website, but nothing has changed. I require the handicapped bathroom. The lock on this bathroom has been broken for months. See pictures below.

Why does this Belk not carry an array of different styles. It's so behind the one at the Pinnacle or the one in knoxville. Doesn't seem like they put much effort into this one. I stopped in today and it was absolutely filthy, and clothes laying everywhere nothing organized, was like shopping in a thrift store. If you want me to pay $100+ for a sweater better make damn sure it hasn't been drug or lying on the filthy floor. I will NEVER be back to this Belks it's a waste of time. This whole mall needs shut down IMO, such a joke.

Went in belks heater on 4/2/2023. Found a Micheal Khors purse I liked. You could tell it had been crouch’s back. The tag was broken on it and it had stains on it. Well I noticed that is was saying that it was called the Marilyn and there was another purse similar to it called the same. So I took a picture and did a google revers surcharge on the purse. Come to find out it was actually called the Cynthia. So we took it to the Landry who was in that department and ask her about the price. Explain the situation and showed her it wasn’t that the tag that was on it. And showed her the stains. Well she started to give it to us for the price we showed her online at Micheal Khors for $172. Then she called her manager and explained the purse cause she was needing help in how to ring it up. Apparently while I was doing the search on the purse the words were told to my fiancé that this purse has been her Davy since it hit the store. Now the manager arrived. They told us to find the upc code for it and they could sell it to us. We did. Then the lady started to ring it up the manager gave her that look and they claimed the purse wasn’t purchased in that store. And they could sell it to us. My question is why did the plans change so quick when they say it had the tiger eye rings on it. Why did the plans even after thy told ia to find the ups code for it off Micheal Khors? You don’t do customers that way. Then tried to sell us another $350 purse. That was the one I wanted for my birthday. That was the one I liked. Why did they have to lie and claim they couldn’t sell it say it wasn’t sold from that store because of it wasn’t it wouldn’t have never been able to have been returned to them. It would have kicked it out of the system. I think the lady wanted for herself. Saw what price she could get it for plus her discount and that was that. Cause the words out of her mouth is that has been my favorite purse since it hit this store. How could it not have been from that store if it was her favorite purse since it hit the store. We were so upset cause our time was wasted and my birthday gift was taken from me. Poor customer service and loyalty. My fiancé has bought all my previous Micheal Khors and his cologne items from this belks but they lost our service yesterday for good!

And why do your employees SLAM their change into their drawers at night. It is @#$% obnoxious. WHY are they doing this? It is insane!!! They obviously are being taught this behavior. I have traveled all over the world, and NOBODY does this. Tonight, it sounded like a war in Belk. EVERY clerk was throwing their change in their drawers. Very low rent. Awful.

As far as stores in Johnson City this is one of the best! I recently visited for gifts for my mom and some cosmetics and found it to be a clean nice store with friendly staff and a nice selection for my mom and a nice selection in the cosmetic department. The sales staff in cosmetics was particularly friendly and helpful. Jena went out of her way to help me. This is by far the stand out store of the mall and was a fun place to shop!

great place to shop. Complainers about coupons not working read the fine print, they do have exclusions. For the person that complained about the noise of change dropping in the drawers, don't come at closing time.

way too few cashiers, computers wasn't taking discount cards resulting in very long check outs -and With my broken foot -couldn't find anywhere to sit. Not a good experience
