Belk Theater is grand! It's a big venue with a large stage. We've been to Hamilton and Alton Brown in the last few weeks. I love the location in Charlotte. We like the Monarch Food hall across the street. It's right in the heart of uptown. Coco and The Director, is just around the corner. A super great little coffee spot. Belk captures your imagination. The endless possibilities of stage productions and sets. Great acoustics. Food and drinks on site. Friendly staff, clean venue. We've been several times in the last few years. Use the Bank of America Parking garage and follow the instructions on the parking email to save on parking costs. It's a 1 block walk. If you haven't had the chance, take in a show or experience at Belk. (My only complaint is the rows. Everybody has to stand up every time someone needs to get out.) But that's a normal thing at most of the theaters we've attended.

Anniversary trip to Charlotte included the play Annie in the Booth Playhouse presented by Porch Productions. The show was fantastic. The seats aren't very comfortable and its a bit drafty in the orchestra section but it was a great play for the fair ticket price. The venue itself is stunning but lots of places inside aren't open on the weekend which I found odd but I don't know what this venue does besides host these shows. We had a great time and will return in the future. I've added photos of the venue but was asked not to photo inside the play. The staff were friendly and helpful and the parking garage was easy access.

Beautiful theater. The staff is very organized for any events that I have been to there. Would be a 5 but seats can be a little uncomfortable after a while. Certain rows do not have much leg room.

We had an amazing experience watching the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra perform How to Train Your Dragon in Concert. Our view was great from Grand Tier Right row F. The parking arrangement with the Bank of America garage was convenient, affordable and relieved added stress of trying to find parking. We were coming in from out of town and this was our first time at this theater. We will definitely return after such a pleasant time.

the most convenient, as many wrote earlier - parking👍. you can go inside the building to the theater. While you are traveling, we "get into the city"😍 inside the building with its fountains and trees growing inside. It is not necessary to buy an expensive ticket for the performance, the arrangement of the seats is very convenient that you can see everything from any point in the hall😉

I've been to this theater several times: Tina, The Wiz, and The Temptations. The staff is always super helpful, especially bc I can never figure out my seat. They have a bar if you need drinks. And they validate parking ($10 in the BOA corporate garage). If you park there, you can use the sky bridge to walk over ( you won't have to go outside).Buy tickets for shows in advance . There's also a lottery available.

We were there for the Les Mis performance the staff was very nice and understanding. Everything went very smooth and we really were just able to enjoy the show can't wait to come back for another performance.
