Bella Bu is a delightful little bistro tucked away in the alleyways of Genoa. The food is unique, the service is attentive, and the building itself along with the decor is so cool. I had the duck entree and my wife had the braised beef pasta. Amazing! If you find yourself in Genoa, do yourself a favor and find Bella Bu.

A restaurant or bar hidden in the alley. Honestly I’m already had a dinner before visit here, just walking around and walk inside, attracted by the menu and wine selection. The squid is fresh enough to match with the orange seasoning. Meet unexpectedly but surprised my night.

Absolutely loved our experience here. We made reservations through Google which was very convenient. At first I was skeptical that it would get noticed but Bella Bu was so quick in making it happen. The food was so delicious and I appreciate that the menu offers options for those very hungry to not so hungry. It was all in all a great experience with a wonderful atmosphere. Staff was exceptional too. 👌🏽

Highly recommend this spot for unpretentious and excellent Ligurian-inspired cuisine. Excellent Negroni and Caipirinha(!) The tapas portions are generous: eggplant sticks dusted with cornmeal and fried well dipped in herby tzatziki, perfectly battered and fried fiori di zucca with gazpacho, squid panzanella with nicely balanced acidity, and a polpo corn taco. Spaghetti alle vongole was a perfect primi and altogether was super filling. Amazing sorbettos to finish. Outdoors is a construction site but still pretty quiet and nice after dusk. 100€ with 2 drinks each for 2ppl.

Service: very kind and English is possible to order menus. Decoration: very sweet and cozy Food: very delicious polpo, main dishes. Dessert was for me less tasty than main menus but also good quality I will recommend this restaurant strongly

Food was amazing. We ordered cheese plate, one spaghetti to share together and main dishes. She brought us each plate of spaghetti to be shared. How thoughtful she is! Atmosphere is great. Candlelit dinner. Staff were professional and nice. Definitely want to go back.

A hidden gem. We ended up there after a tip from a friend. Normally you would probably pass by without thinking. But what a treat. Try the small tapas-style dishes to share. They are very tasty, such as the zucchini flowers. The service is friendly and the location is beautiful. They also have a good local wine list.
