Bella Coola Mountain Lodge

Room was clean. Bed was nice. Pillows were good. Bathroom was clean. The biggest downside for the room is there is no proper sink for washing dishes, a person has to use the bathroom sink. Then to top it off, the lodge has it posted a $25 fee for dirty dishes left behind. I’m all for not leaving dirty dishes, but give the customer the correct tools for the job.

The Lodge is nice, but I had the following issues:||1: Windows were open 1 inch. Would not close.|2: Exercise equipment outside the room as well as a table so constant noise though the open window.|3: Have to wash dishes in a tiny bathroom sink. Should provide a wash basin.

Great place to stay for business or pleasure. | Staff is excellent and always very helpful and polite. | The lodge is by far the greatest place to stay in the Bella Coola valley. Whether you are fishing, hunting on business or just want to take your family somewhere with great views and endless adventures. This is your spot

Shannon and her team are amazing! Always welcoming, great customer service, and flexible to your needs. Location is close to airport, grocery store, Nuxalk Health and Wellness and downtown Bella Coola. A must stay for those visiting Bella Coola!

The room was very basic. The stove had no fan above it restricting what you might consider cooking. The two ceiling fan/lamp combinations were on one switch however if you wanted to have a fan on for air circulation you had to unscrew a light as the light toggle switch didn't work. That was easy to do as the light cover was missing. The luggage rack was broken. A board was secured to the wall with two L brackets for a shelf and a clothes rod. A King Size comfortable bed but with one night stand so the other person didn't have a light to read, a place to put a book etc etc....I unplugged the refrigerator at night as it made a low toned mild tapping sound.||Clean but would be rated no more than a two star.

The fridge was loud and on its last legs. The fan made noise. The door to the suite could use a weather strip to keep the cool air out. And the mattress was worn out. Minor upgrades that the owners could consider. But the staff was friendly and helpful. The location and views were stunning. The room with kitchenette was clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for two nights and it was cozy, and quiet. The room was a little too warm but with AC at night it was cozy. The highlight was definitely how friendly and welcoming all the staff were! Lovely bunch of people and ready to help with anything you might need.

We came to Bella Coola late in the day, tired but without any reservations. The Mountain lodge was fully booked and we could not find any place to stay, and the wonderful lady at the Mountain Lodge called us when she got a cancellation! The room was wonderful and the breakfast was great. Wonderful coffee and everything is home made. They were booked the next night and we found a really seedy place to stay, but we were saved again when she called us about another cancellation. Twice the busy receptionist went out of her way to find us and help us out. Bella Coola is an amazing place, but lodging is tight and I strongly urge that you contact the Mountain lodge and make a reservation.

Last night ... we skipped the dishes, the house and the pets and headed to the Brockton Bistro in the Bella Coola Mountain Lodge. Once again their fresh and ever changing menu did not disappoint. Starting with fish tacos and tuna carpaccio, we dined on steak frittes and tortiere and finished with the pecan and bacon maple creme brulee, while my wife had the cherry filled doughnut and brownie ice cream. The staff as always friendly and efficient.
