We stayed five nights at the Bella Luna, and will definitely stay here again. The location in the heart of Cairo is convenient and safe. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with good A.C and plenty of hot water in the shower. This is not a luxury hotel and the entrance can seem a little rough the first time you enter, but a great hotel to base yourself in Cairo. The breakfast was fine and they sell cold drinks. We had a free shuttle from the airport (based on staying a few nights) and the staff helped organize several trips for us. Everything we had hoped for when booking the hotel !

Great hotel in the heart of Cairo. Large room with private bathroom and it’s own balcony! Not much of an entrance, but the hotel is nice and the staff are amazing. Plenty of friendly faces and great advice. We’ve travelled a lot and love hotels like the Bella Luna, great value, safe and friendly, perfect location! Looking forward to our next visit to Cairo.

This hotel in amazing! We stayed at the Bella Luna three nights in total, two at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. We were able to book everything over email and they suggested assistance with things we never thought of. The hotel arranged our airport pick up at a much lower rate than a taxi ( and later our ride back to the airport). They also helped us hire a private driver to take us to Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. ||The hotel itself is located in downtown Cairo within walking distance of the Egyptian Museum and a lot of restaurants and cafes. The rooms were always neat, clean and tidy with free wifi. The breakfasts were served fresh every morning, and were absolutely delicious along with strong coffee to fortify you for a day of sight-seeing!||All in all, I definitely recommend staying here, great quality for money!

Place is friendly and close to city center. Located on the fifth floor, the lift is a bit scary as it's missing a few safety doors on some floors. Room was tidy but the toilet didn't have a roof. Breakfast was provided and is simple yet enough. Two things I was not happy with, one I got conned by the taxi driver who took us to the pyramids and made the most expensive deal for the horse carriage (did a hotel booking and he referred this taxi driver) and two, at times in the night, it can get noisy as it's a busy market place behind and they play loud music and party late.

Do no waste your money or time. The hotel is falling apart. The bed sheets were dirty with dried food stuck to them. The bathroom sink sprung a leak and the solution from management was to put a trash can under it. The mosquitoes will eat you alive even in the middle of December. We booked with their partner hotel and were given here instead. Then they tried to charge double for an airport shuttle. They wanted $30 USD though advertises $15. I called the airport and got one for $12. Don't waste your money.

Best $16 hotel in town. Being an experienced traveller, I walked the approximately 1 1/4 mile distance from Ramses train station ( traffic is crazy). Biggest problem with the hotel is how it's located. The entrance is accessed by walking through an unmarked walkway from the street, not on the street itself. There is a medium sized hotel sign across the street from the entrance, but if you're not looking for it, you'll never see it. As I was on my 3rd week in Egypt, the elevator didn't horrify me. My room was a city view with balcony, and I liked it. Water was good. 30 minute walk to Kahn El Kalili and is adjacent to lots of nightlife.

This place was beyond five stars and exceeded my expectations!! The rooms were phenomenal and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The owner is the kindest man and is always there to help you and provide service. I would take this place over any other hotel or hostel in Cairo and you feel as if you’re at home!

The hotel is located close to downtown Cairo. The management is friendly and helpful. A good option for a transit stay if you are traveling by bus or train the next morning. The roadside cafes in the vicinity that serve coffee and shisha are not to be missed.
