Bella Sera Schulenburg

The food was delicious from the spinach soup (with a lot of cheese) to the braided bread (tasting like what my mom made every monday!) To the rib eye steak to the shrimp in a superb garlic rose type sauce over linguini. We topped it off with a fab portion of tiramisu. Z the owner madevus feel extra special by chatting with us. Please support this new owner. It will be well worth it!

This was a lunch stop on the road, and it's conveniently right off the I-10 access road. It's in a plaza with a moderate amount of parking. The interior is 2 rooms with booths & tables. We each enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Greek Salad. It had just the right amount of greens and a ton of chicken. The server accommodated all of our requests. And ladies, he was easy on the eyes. Recommended restaurant for good food and service.

Stopped by here on a whim and was very impressed. The food was all great except for the Italian Cream Cake. We had chicken parmesan and the pasta sampler and both definitely came home with us. We also had a side of alfredo sauce for dipping our bread and took the rest of it home too. The salads were pretty good but seemed a tad bit small. We did stop by on a Saturday evening before the dinner rush started and it seemed like they were only going to have one waitress and maybe one cook the entire time? I wasn't sure if there was anyone else in the back but one waitress on a Saturday seemed odd for sure. They were even warned they were going to have a party of at least 15 coming in from the hotel. We wouldn't make a drive to Schulenburg just for this restaurant but if we pass through we would stop again. For small town Italian it is fantastic.

I'm not really into eating at Italian restaurants, but after being on the road for a week, i decided to try this new place across from the hotel where i am staying. A lot of Italian restaurants seem to use the same ingredients and pretty much taste the same. But not this place! I had the chicken cacciatore and it was phenomenal! It was like enough for two but i ate the whole thing. 10/10 i will be going back to this place when i stay in schulenburg again! Even the salad with honey mustard was crisp and cold, perfect! 👌 and the waitstaff were all very welcoming and not one ounce of negativity. Awesome people and awesome food!

Normal Italian fare, really good! We had the lasagna and the eggplant parmesan, both tasted great. This is not a fast food joint, so don't expect your food to be out in 5 minutes. This is a sit down and enjoy place. Service was spot on. Will be back when we go thru Schulenberg.

This place is fantastic. I can't say enough good things. Have eaten here 2 times and both times the owner came out and personally checked on me. Service was incredibly good, the food was just as good. Highly recommended!

Had to give a one star. My manicotti had rotten cheese in it. I tasted it first because it’s stuffed but it tasted horrible and when I opened it up the cheese was grayish brown and smelled foul. I guess the cook said it was supposed to be like that. I gave to server and he apologized and threw in trash. No one bothered to lay eyes on it and server threw in trash. I guess no one is concerned with serving rotten food. Just be careful, I’m glad I spit it out so I did not ingest.

So glad there is an amazing Italian restaurant so close to home! The food is amazing. The service is friendly and fast and I love the atmosphere! I will definitely be back!

Called in with an initial order for 3 subs..1 meatball & 2 philly cheese.."Sir, we can't make the philly's", no problem, just make it 3 meatball, you can make those?.."Yes, give us twenty minutes ".. I show up twenty minutes later, let them know that i'm here to pickup my order.."Oh, we didn't have enough to make 3, so we didn't make it but we can make 1."..Asked if there was any reason that they wouldn't contact me in the prior twenty minutes to let me know..No answer, just a blank stare.."give us 3 minutes and we'll have your sub ready, 3 becomes 8..

I'm traveling for work and stay next door to this restaurant and I thought why not it's close!? But oh mylanta!!! This place is small and quiet and the server was really nice and fixed me up perfectly to go. I ordered lasagna and oooh it's oh so delicious!! I had to portion it with myself because it is a nice sized dish... and I'd eat it all and then want more later so try it when you're hungry and nearby.

During our travels, we stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant. The Italian dishes, including Shrimp FraDiablo and Lasagna, were truly exceptional. The service was also commendable. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant situated off Hwy 77.

Really nice place to grab some lunch at. Looks like a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and was kind of hidden away, but well worth stopping by. Didn't look like it got much traffic as we were the only ones in there at the time. Service was quick, and the food was prepared soon after so not much waiting. Everything was tasty, from the starting bread and calamari appetizer, the salads with our meals, and for me the spaghetti. If I'm stopping by Schulenburg again anytime soon then I'm certainly coming here again to try out more of them menu.

Service was great and I got the all meat spaghetti which was amazing and the cheese bread as app what very good. I recommend this place!!!

Visited last night for the first time. They just opened in March. We were quite impressed. There's not very many restaurant options here, so we were thrilled to find something new. I got the Trio which consisted of a dinner salad, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo, and I think lasagne. The menu said trio, but only listed the fettuccine and the chicken Parmesan. It did come with something else, I think it was lasagna. It was so covered in cheese and sauce that I couldn't tell for sure. it was all very good, especially the fettuccine! My wife had the pasta sampler. It had manicotti, lasagna, and beef ravioli. It also came with a small dinner salad. Complimentary bread was brought to the table with our drinks. We ordered the oil and garlic to dip the bread in (garlic knots) and it was fantastic! Super garlicky. Our server was very sweet and the atmosphere was clean and nice. The desserts looked good. but we were too full to try them. The only negative thing I could say about this restaurant is that they carry Pepsi products instead of Coke products.
