From the atmosphere to the wait staff, this place is a must visit! Fine dining to the core, on the sunshine coast this is as fine dining as you can get. Food is incredible, service is impeccable, and the wait staff are indescribable. Brendan was our waiter and did he know his stuff! From the specials memorised and explained to perfection, to the surprising on point drink choices for us that he chose for us! Brendan not only ensured we did not feel any hesitation to ask questions, but had made sure that whatever courses we ordered, the correct cutlery was provided in an instant. He went absolutely above and beyond to ensure I felt special on my birthday and I absolutely would be coming back for our next occasion. The table service was that of first class, with servers describing the accompaniment to the courses as they arrived. The food was outstanding, in-fact it was astonishing. The chefs really know fine dining food and execute it well. Bella Venezia, while on the upper end of cost, is worth every cent and is a definite winner in the Sunshine Coast on satisfying customers. Thanks again Brendan and team for your exceptional efforts in a beautiful intimate dinner.

We came here for a 51st anniversary lunch, and had a wonderful time! 😄 The waitstaff were all lovely (especially our server, Nicole; pat on the back to her!) and the food was mouthwatering, and I wanted it to last forever! 😋💗 All in all, a gorgeous venue, people and food. Five stars! 🌟

We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and everything was just perfect! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, special thanks to Brendan, who made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. He was attentive, kind, and gave great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, a perfect spot for a special occasion. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Had an amazing experience tonight at Bella Venezia 🥰 I was celebrating my best friends bday. Our host for the night Nikki attended to us so well, she is absolutely lovely and made us feel at home. We absolutely enjoyed entree, main meal and dessert 😍

Brendan was our waiter. He was thoroughly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and most definitely amplified an already exceptional experience. Brendan deserves acknowledgment for going the extra mile to make the entire dining experience absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, exceptional selection of wines and a beautiful atmosphere. We look forward to returning.

This is a restaurant still running after 43 years as of 2025. A wine list to cater from a glass to a magnum front under $20 to $2500 champagne. Oysters, caviar,Truffles, cheeses, pasta, amazing food and staff. O can view. Lunch and dinner.

Brendan was the perfect ‘side dish’ to our delicious meal. He was knowledgeable and recommended a beautiful tasting wine, along with side dishes that complimented our meals perfectly. We want to thank Brendan for his excellent service. We recommend the pizza as you get more than enough for the price paid. Would dine again!

Yelp
The waiter and service 5 star Food would be a 2 star we had beef cheek papadell added lots of salt and pepper still tasteless Seafood bug spaghetti no flavour added salt no difference at all I would not complain about the staff or service However we eat at a lot of restaurants and have to say cannot rate the food here

Yelp
Easily the best restaurant in Mooloolaba. High quality food, great service and a great wine & cocktail selection. I had the Lamb Porchetta - it was cooked to perfection and it was presented beautifully. My friend had the Pizza Allo Scoglio - whilst not a fan of seafood it did look really good and my friend really enjoyed it. Tip - Make sure you leave room for dessert!

Yelp
Terrible hospitality, the service here is appalling, we booked a reservation and needed to cancel. We attempted to cancel two days in advance due to extra family arriving. You cannot cancel on their website and their phone line tells you to book online with no voicemail. Then we had to head down to the restaurant and they wanted to charge $50 per person to cancel the booking this is an outrageous price. While we were talking a family of 6 asked for a table and we said that they could take ours. The staff at the restaurant were worried about filling our seats, though they were filled almost immediately. We had to talk to the manager who was b but rude and disrespectful. Absolutely do not attend this restaurant if you expect to be treated correctly.

Yelp
They are great for takeaway entrees and pizzas and desserts! The atmosphere here is very nice and classy table service. Food has lots of flavour and comes out hot. They have a nice wine list and a great variety of choices for lunch or dinner. We've been coming here for over a year and they are always welcoming and the food remains excellent.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and it was a good size and tasted splendid. The steak was incredible-juicy, cooked to perfection, amazing flavour. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to others!

Yelp
The food here is good. Very good, in fact. But unfortunately anything that's not on their daily specials menu is absurdly priced. At least, such is the situation at lunch. Dinner may be different, but I doubt it. That said, if you're passing by and their daily specials sound appealing to you then give this place a try. You'll get a decent meal.

Yelp
Bella Venezia is pleasant enough, but the main menu is quite pricey indeed. As a result, we ordered from the list of specials. Both my husband & I ordered the same fettuccine and prawn dish. This was rather pleasing and not as heavy as I anticipated. So, that was great! It is a funky spot of both contemporary and vintage style decor. It seems that there are two themed areas. Overall, it was pleasant, but it is certainly at the pricier end of the spectrum for Italian fare.

Yelp
I really want to like BV... It's in a great position on the front and I love Italian cuisine, but I just cannot get over the price Vs location Vs quality factors in this place. Until recently, you sat in a breezeway on 80's tiles and got bumped and jived as you dined on your meal. And this was preferable to being inside in the hottest place on earth which felt like you may have inadevertedly been mistaken for mozarella and you were being melted onto the pizza. Afterwards you got to pick up a bill for easily $55/head for two courses and a glass of wine... Ouchy. Having been fortunate enough to dine at some of the best restaurants in the world, and game enough to eat at many others, I know that $35 for a steak is just too much to pay, especially when it's luke warm when it arrives. The food has been known to be very good at times. A pizza won't disappoint, but I just think the overall lack of atmosphere and combination of erratic and sharp service doesn't put the Sunshine Coast and it's dining experiences in the best light. The tragedy about a holiday destination is that it can still be full Dec - Jan with unsuspecting tourists, but come the flat month of Feb we'll see whether they can create a place that appeals to the locals. Please, please invest in good staff and start a real specials board. SPECIALS BOARD the hint is in the name. Cheap, fresh and interesting meals which are SPECIAL!

Yelp
Great fettuccine carbonara. A little on the expensive side for pasta but tasted fantastic.

Yelp
Went here a few weeks ago. Food is fantastic, diverse menu - Italian food with a Sunshine Coast twist. Good friendly yet professional service

Yelp
Food was nice but my wife and friends had Rissoto and portions were tiny. When you are paying more than $20 for a simple rice dish you should get a decent portion. Overpriced in my opinion but par for the course on the Sunshine Coast

Yelp
I had the duck risotto and it was full of oil and cheese. It was quite expensive and did not live up to expectations

Yelp
TERRIBLE!!! Will never go back! It's our 3rd wedding anniversary tonight and we thought we would order some takeaway from a nice restaurant to eat together on our balcony. We ordered the specials pasta as well as salad and bruschetta. Firstly it took the man 10mins to even take our order (he had absolutely no idea what he was doing!). Then we waited 40mins for our order, I am 6 months pregnant and had to go and sit on the brick wall outside as I couldn't stand that long. The man finally gave us our order and luckily we checked it when we got outside because we were given a container of hot chips and a container of green veggies!!!! Took it back in and told them what had happened and ask for our pasta, only to be told we needed to wait longer. Eventually we got our meals, to then open the container and see the smallest serve of pasta, so small in fact that my husband had to order a kebab on the way back to our apartment. THANKS FOR RUINING OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY DINNER!!!

Yelp
Disgraceful... Please keep in mind this review is only based on the Kawana cafe, NOT the Mooloolaba restaurant. We went to the Kawana cafe for breakfast (01/06/14) and, in what was a insight of things to come, the wait staff seemed put out at having to find us a table. Even though the cafe was only half full, we were informed at how exceedingly busy they were, and it took until we were seated for the waiter to tell us half of the products used in the menu were also out of stock, something that really should of been mentioned prior to us being seated. After having to rather loudly intimate to another waiter we would like to order as we had been completely ignored for at least ten minutes we finally managed to order coffee and breakfast, it took another conversation with the same waiter 35 minutes later to ask where our coffees were, let alone our food. He again informed us about how busy they were, though did rudely tell me it was not their fault they were slow, even after I pointed out the table of twelve next to us had come in after us and had ordered and been served in the interim, the waiter somehow insinuated it was our fault! We were not even offered any kind of apology then or at any stage of the "dining experience" which as someone who has previously worked in hospitality, found completely unbelievable. The other issue we had was the personal hygiene of the two male wait staff did also leave a little to be desired... even in outdoor dining. Will be avoiding this place like the plague, which is a shame as we are locals and have been frequenting the Mooloolaba restaurant for roughly the last 15 years, and would and still will choose to eat there rather than majority of places on the Coast... Again this review has no bearing on the Mooloolaba restaurant.

Yelp
When I think of a restaurant I think of something special, a place where I can go the enjoy a meal I may not have the skills to make myself. I expect a meal to not only be presented beautifully, but to taste even more beautiful. This is something you will never find a Bella Venezia on the esplanade Mooloolabah. I took my partner out on a date as a treat, something we do often and it usually goes well. I myself ordered the carbonara and my partner the gnocchi, both meals of which could fit in the palm of our hands. Carbonara is meant to have a thick and creamy texture, it should be cheesy and be filled with bacon; it quite simply should be delicious. This dish is simple and is one I myself can make, as most people. But what was served to me was an embarrassment. The fettuccine was under cooked and the sauce was not of a "thick and creamy texture" but rather more of a watery soup with close to no flavor and about 5 fingernail sized pieces of bacon. As for the gnocchi, it was no more than gnocchi in a watery cheese sauce with raw cubes of tomato mixed in and some dry basil leaves on top. This was eaten in no more than two minutes due to the ridiculously small serving size. Once we had finished eating we left straight away- the atmosphere was not worth hanging around in. I feel sick with myself that I actually paid for our meals. They were not worth $5, let alone the $30 for each. We ended up going home and having another meal as we weren't even close to full.
