The idea is great but the execution has its flaws. I'm being quite tough here because it appears to be a restaurant with style and knowledge of great food but it didn't serve that. I want it to be as exciting for meat eaters as it is for vegans as me. Also, I have only tasted a fraction of the menu and there are likely other dishes that are way more delicious than those I've tried.
I ordered the mixed plate which was a disappointment, mixing different cuisines in a not so delicious way. The dips: The hummus was the best thing, followed by the tapenade as quite delicious, but the aubergine-cream was boring in texture and flavour. The tabbouleh was tasteless, the falafel had a dough-like texture, the pita was very dry(not crispy or toeasted, just dry)and the spring-roles was very misplaced and didn't compliment the dips.
My mom ordered the seitan-gyros which was delicious, but the french fries was nothing special, like the ones at mcdonalds. They could have easily been more interesting if tossed in an herb- or spice-blend. The side salad was also boring to taste. The presentation was not very nice either, like your average kebab joint.
I order the chocolate muffin for dessert which was quite delicious though the presentation was quite ugly.
More job can be done with the presentations and dishes overall. The ones I tried are quite far from perfect. Also, the workers didn't seem very happy, the main owner seems super controlling. But what do I know, it only showed off that way.
