Bella Vista Dunedin Motel Accommodation

My son and I had the 1 bedroom unit with a queen bed in lounge and 2x singles in seperate bedroom. Room felt roomy and well set out. Very clean and well equiped. Great location for takeaway food outlets, literally right across the road. Would definitely stay there again. Proprietors very helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bella Vista. Extremely friendly and welcoming owners. Not much road noise either given the location. I had my dog with me and there was 0 Issues. Will definitely choose staying here again in the future 😊

A beautifully clean motel with lovely friendly service. The room wasn't a compact double but was still quite small. There were lots of eating and drinking opportunities near to the motel, but the centre of Dunedin was a 5-10 minute drive. The nearby Botanic Gardens can easily be walked to and are stunning.

My husband & I have had the privilege of staying at the Bella Vista Motel 2 times in the last month & honestly I can definitely say, it is such a lovely place! And I definitely recommend it! I am so very thankful because travelling to Dunedin with our 7 month old son, being able to stay at such a high quality, safe & beautiful motel was soo nice! Great service, lovely people (& dog) and so close to everything you need (walking distance) I have no concerns of the place other than being surprised it isn’t always fully booked because honestly, it is such a lovely place! Thank you so much for a lovely stay and for being so accommodating! Will definitely visit again, no doubt :)

Quiet, despite being on the main road. Enjoyed walking the owners dog. We were there to witness a court case from the public gallery. We didn't know how long we would be there. The owners were flexible about the number of nights that we needed to stay. They would have allowed us to bring our cockatiel if we hadn't find a carer for him.

Bella Vista Dunedin Motel is a great place to stay — very clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. It’s close to the town center and plenty of restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the area. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming stay.
