Had such a lovely time here — the food was delicious and the view was absolutely stunning. Prices are way more reasonable than most places in the city center, where I’ve tried a few spots that weren’t very memorable. This one really stood out! Highly recommend, but make sure to book ahead.

This hotel was wonderful. We stayed two nights in August of 2025. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was generous and the restaurant was great as well. The staff were both professional and very helpful. I would recommend it. If you do not have a car, taxi service from Como is a bit expensive. In the opinion of our party, the view and quiet of Brunate were worth it.

Didn’t stay overnight, but stopped for a wee sundowner or two on the balcony (view is tremendous - we watched lightning somewhere distant over the Alps as the sun set). And then dinner in the restaurant. An excellent bar/restaurant with friendly and helpful staff (sorry didn’t catch their names), great food and a nice selection of wine. Would have liked to try the rooms - general atmosphere was of a very well looked after establishment.

I've visited this hotel 3 times since 2021, once to have a drink and twice to eat. The first thing to say is the views are phenomenal. A camera won't do it justice, but it's not important – just appreciate it with your eyes. Being a short walk from the funicular railway station (literally under 2 minutes), it's a great please to stop off for refreshments. They have an outdoor area, and also an indoor area with panoramic views. The last time I went was in December and my partner and I ordered the same dish, it was kind of like braised beef. I was hesitant to try it, but oh boy what a choice! One of the best meals I've ever had, hands down 10/10. What made it even better was the waitress, who had humour, joked with us, explained what we were eating and really took care of me because I'm allergic to nuts. ||Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I can't understand the negative reviews about the service here. Visited 3 times, no complaints. Keep doing what you're doing Bellavista!

We went up for the restaurant without a reservation, but the staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. While waiting, we enjoyed some drinks until they secured a table for us on the terrace. The food was excellent, the service attentive, and the terrace views were absolutely spectacular.

Just had a 3 night stay with friends. Fantastic hotel with breath taking views over Lake Como. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and the restaurant food was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to use the funicular to get up and down to the hotel from Como but the views make it worthwhile.

Had dinner here and we amazed. This level of cooking in a place with such an amazing view. Stunning. We liked particularly the spinach boar lasagne and the gnocchi with fish tartar. The stuff was super lovely as well, especially to our daughter. 5 star no doubt.

We dined at Bellavista restaurant. The food was really enjoyable and the view was spectacular! Watching the sunset across the mountains and Como morph from day into night was a memory etched in our minds forever. The return train ride from Como to the restaurant was an unbelievable experience in itself, but expect ques as it is very popular. Bellavista restaurant is a must visit whilst holidaying at Como.
