Bellavista Boutique Hotel e Ristorante

We had to postpone our first planned visits due to the train strikes but the management was very flexible and we finally got to visit today. First, the views are amazing. The views of Como and the lake extend to snow capped mountains- breathtaking. We have been travelling around Italy for six weeks and the unanimous consensus from the family was this was our favourite meal. Every course, every dish was perfect. The service, perfect. The views and ambience, perfect. The lunch today will live on as a treasured family memory and I want to thank the manager and staff for making it so special. Now - go to Como, get the funicular or mini bus up to Brunate and visit Bellavista, you will not regret it.

Beautiful location, hospitality is very good. Both breakfast and diner are recommended. Also recommend, if you stay longer, to buy a week pass for the funicular which is close to the hotel. You can reach Como without any trouble and you can pass the line.

Didn’t stay overnight, but stopped for a wee sundowner or two on the balcony (view is tremendous - we watched lightning somewhere distant over the Alps as the sun set). And then dinner in the restaurant. An excellent bar/restaurant with friendly and helpful staff (sorry didn’t catch their names), great food and a nice selection of wine. Would have liked to try the rooms - general atmosphere was of a very well looked after establishment.

We went up for the restaurant without a reservation, but the staff was very friendly and did their best to accommodate us. While waiting, we enjoyed some drinks until they secured a table for us on the terrace. The food was excellent, the service attentive, and the terrace views were absolutely spectacular.

This hotel was wonderful. We stayed two nights in August of 2025. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was generous and the restaurant was great as well. The staff were both professional and very helpful. I would recommend it. If you do not have a car, taxi service from Como is a bit expensive. In the opinion of our party, the view and quiet of Brunate were worth it.

We dined at Bellavista restaurant. The food was really enjoyable and the view was spectacular! Watching the sunset across the mountains and Como morph from day into night was a memory etched in our minds forever. The return train ride from Como to the restaurant was an unbelievable experience in itself, but expect ques as it is very popular. Bellavista restaurant is a must visit whilst holidaying at Como.

The view for breakfast was stunning and the food selection was great. The rooms are cozy with old wooden furniture and lovely painted ceilings. The showers are generously spacious for Italian standards.
