Belle Central

I’ve been to Belle Cental before and ordered a smashed avocado on toast and it was very delicious, but unfortunately my experience yesterday was far from that. When I got back to the car to eat, all I could smell was burnt toast. I turned it over and this is what I saw. It looks like the grill/toaster needs a good clean. I did ask for gluten free bread but this certainly didn’t look like it. I had to throw the toast away. The food sent out showed a half hearted attempt on behalf of the chef. I also noticed the chef using his bare hands to put the greens on top. Professionalism of serving staff also seemed to be lacking. Not sure if the place has changed hands but I certainly won’t be back for burnt toast.

I have had the privilege to travel extensively over the years both in Australia and overseas. This place is the worst I have ever encountered in Australia with both service and value for money. I ducked in this morning to have my old faithful of eggs Benedict, wanting to give this place a try. The young Lady that served me was abrupt, rude and very disappointing. Wasn’t interested in asking about the meal I was wanting and or how cooked. Didn’t think much of it and thought ok she might not be having a good morning . Coffee came out and shoved in front of me, no pleasantries or anything that I have experienced everywhere else in this town. Then came the meal. No words just slid in front of me. One egg, most of the meal was this green crap that I didn’t get an option to ask not to have. Extremely disappointed and a total waist of money. Do not go here. You’re better off at the other end of the Mall where they actually appreciate your business at Swish I thinks it’s called 👌🏽

This is now one of my favorite places for coffee, friendly staff , delicious food , lots of healthy and GF, DF options and amazing coffee

Beautiful vibrant cafe with lots of delicious choices and some yummy vegan and gluten free options. Coffee is yummy and the sofa and book to read was perfect!

Love this place soo much from its clean food, clean surroundings, and Michael the waiter! Seriously, he’s the reason I keep coming back. Having great food and great surroundings but not having friendly staff who you can have a joke with is a deal breaker for me so when Michael is working you know you’re going to get great service and be well looked after. Thank you Michael for making our day💕

Delicious breakfast, eggs were done well. Lovely setting with friendly staff. The coffee was excellent that we came back for another one. One of the best brunch place to go to in Ballina.

Smashed avo on toast with cuppa, all too quick and good for a welcome brekky on my most favourite place to live in Oz (so far).

Was delighted by my sweet potato and kale salad. Tasty, with a few surprise ingredients thrown in. Service was okay, maybe something to work on. Lovely atmosphere and would come back.
