Belleek Castle Hotel

We had a lovely welcome to the Castle and bags carried to our room which was a lovely touch. Room was a little chilly but we adjusted the radiators and it was cosey in no time. Staff were lovely and smiley, excellent meal but the wine list was very pricey. Very comfortable beds with perfect views. Great breakfast selection although the fry was over cooked. Cappuccino was added to our bill which I thought was unnecessary given what we paid for our stay. Finished off with a brilliant 90minute tour of the castle. The hotel needs a little love and polish but the atmosphere made up it.

Incredible customer service and communication in planning out this special surprise for my wife during our Ireland trip. Special shout out to Elaine! Her and staff answered every question and got back to me in very quick order on all arrangements and reservations. Sergio our waiter at dinner and Stephen the bar manager are simply top notch as to the service they provide. Paul and Mathiew (owner & son) made a point to meet all guests that were spending the evening there. Very nice and enjoyable conversations. Simply great people to spend our evening around. |Library restaurant for dinner and Jack Fenn Cafe for breakfast were just outstanding! We had a room/dinner/breakfast package and extremely pleased for what we received for the total cost of our stay. Also, upon our arrival, we had booked a tour of the Castle and its history. Really enjoyable and quite something! |Our room and bed were very comfortable. Nicely appointed making you feel very special. Would highly recommend this Castle Hotel to anyone who is visiting the Mayo region and wants to be treated special!

We came here to check out the venue before our wedding - we had a fabulous room. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast was delicious 😋 The staff are very friendly and helpful and the bar serves a great pint of Guinness!

We recently dined at Belleek Castle and had an incredible experience. I highly recommend Belleek if you’re in the area. The location is great, the setting Is beautiful, food is fantastic but what really sets it apart are the people. The service Was second to none and the friendliness made the visit That much better. David and Steven went above and beyond serving us and sharing old stories. Agatha helped us at dinner and was exceptional. We had such a great experience we dined here twice on our trip. Both experiences were top notch. We also had a server from Portugal. I don’t remember her name but another excellent team member. Belleek is a must visit if you’re near Ballina.

We stayed here for three nights and left yesterday morning. We stayed here for our friends' wedding on the castle grounds. The castle was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. We met the Baronet who was delightful. The cafe served great breakfast and brunch meals. The wedding ceremony took place in the stable house which was beautifully decorated. My wife and I walked in the nearby woods which have trails that lead to various nearby landmarks and a mausoleum.

Belleek Castle is truly amazing. We stayed a couple of nights in a comfy 4 poster bed. The room was so peaceful and we slept soundly. ||We took the tour which was very informative and well worth it. Carol certainly knew her stuff about the place and the main owner. The fine dining experience was just that, we ate wonderfully well on our two nights and were so well looked after by the staff, especially Saj and Stephen in the bar.||It is an old building so, if you were so inclined, you could pick holes in certain aspects of it. If you just relax into it though, you will have a great stay.||Breakfast is in the castle cafe and was very good and the staff friendly. One word of criticism here though. The chef flatly refused to swap in scrambled eggs for fried ones. Very odd to refuse such a request, especially as scrambled are offered elsewhere on the menu - never had that before.

One of our favorite places we stayed at on our honeymoon! While we only stayed for one night, this stop was everything we could have dreamed of. The staff was friendly, especially the bar manager, Steven. He took care of us during our afternoon tea, and we saw him buzzing around all evening carrying out multiple duties at dinner and working behind the bar. A+ employee!! The included breakfast had an excellent selection to choose from and was delicious. The room was large and the whole place was so beautifully authentic. The beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. The water pressure in the shower was less than ideal, but the overall experience was amazing and we would return in a heartbeat if given the chance. Thank you for giving us, what felt like, the Royal Treatment!

Magical. Started with the fairy trail through Belleek Woods and ended up at the castle. Did the museum tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The entire estate and grounds are definitely worth a visit or two! The museum alone houses some exceptional artifacts ranging from important historic fossils to swords and knights of armor. If you were planning a wedding with an 18th century dungeon Spanish worship fairy theme, this is the place to have it!!
