Bellevue Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches of Denmark. It's very popular destination. The area around the beach was designed by famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Clear and shallow water. There are volleyball courts and spacious lawns covered with grass and trees.

Water is clean. Most important of all, you can meet a cute dog there

Lovely beach with sand and grass, just a couple minutes from the train station and near enough to walk to Bakken and the deep park. There are also volleyball courts, and people were swimming when we visited in July. Lovely place to sit and read in the sun!

Beautiful sunny beach 💕 The water is so clear and clean, big green grass space that you can lay down a whole day. There are many public changing rooms and toilets here as well, very convenient!

Probably the best large beach north of Copenhagen. Take the train to Klampenborg and enjoy a great day by the water. There are several places you can buy food and drink, and public restrooms.

Sandy beach close to Copenhagen. Arne Jakobsen designed the small lighthouses. A good place to spend a warm summer day or evening.

I went here in a sunny day in October. It was windy, but the beach is lovely. The sand is nothing compare to South America. The water is refreshing tho. This is the best beach I found near copenhagen. better than amager strand. And the facilities of this beach is designed by a Danish designer, which is pretty cool

As weather was concerned I may have shown up on a perfect day. As monuments are concerned the Arne Jacobsen tower was not there! Even the employees of Den Gule Cottage said one day they showed up to work and the tower was gone. They believe that it's being restored but it's been missing for a while. So as an iconic look, Bellevue unfortunately looked like any other piece of coastline. However the calm water, beautiful weather, and the view of Sweden in the distance was quite fetching.

Bellevue Strand is a beautiful beach close to Copenhagen centre. It's easy to reach by train straight from the central station, but at the same time it's a beautiful route to drive along by bike - just like the Danes. During those long warm summer nights in Denmark it's a perfect place to barbecue with friends, play games or just take a breather from the city life. If start to feel restless from relaxing (as I sometimes do) the beach is within walking distance from Dyrehaven, one of the most beautiful parks in Denmark. And if the warm evenings turn into fun nights, it's a short trip to Bakken, the oldest amusement park in the world. It's fun for the whole family.
