I had high hopes for this restaurant when I booked it for my birthday dinner but I was so disappointed with the quality of food and service I received from the restaurant during my birthday dinner. First, my friends and I were served with bread that was over seasoned with onion and garlic. It was really disappointing as bread served in restaurants as usually really good. Next, we ordered for our main dish and I’m really sorry to say that it was not up to the par. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food served, considering the prices of the food. The lasagna had a weird and sour taste, while the sauce used for the salad was tangy. My dish came with 5 pieces of shrimp and some unseasoned salad( mind you this dish was really expensive) I also noticed that our server kept giving myself and my friends dirty looks and was rude to us each time we spoke to her or asked for something. My friends and I are very respectful and would never ever disrespect service workers, but to keep getting dirty looks from our server for no reason was really sad and this ruined my birthday dinner. I really looked up to this restaurant and was really excited to try it out but like I said, I was truly disappointed and wished I went somewhere else. I even asked them if they could cut my cake for me and they said they would have to charge me for cutting my cake for me. That was really disappointing because they didn’t even sing a happy birthday song for me and I expected that the least they could do was to at least cut my cake for me for free. I hope the manager read this review and talk to their workers to stop giving their customers dirty looks for no reason, fix the quality of food and make the restaurant overall better. Thanks!

Excellent dining experience at The Beatrice hotel's signature restaurant. The service is attentive and professional, while the food is consistently delicious. The elegant atmosphere makes it perfect for special occasions. The bar offers an impressive selection of drinks. A great addition to Providence's upscale dining scene.

Absolutely wonderful! Excellent pasta dishes (fusilli and pappardelle). Bellini cocktail was great… and perfect service! Rivals Boston Italian restaurants. Complimentary valet was so appreciated. Gorgeous gorgeous

I liked the atmosphere a lot, but the food was mediocre at best. Tried some appetizers which were good, but my main dish (chicken with sausage) was not good. The texture of the chicken was off - it was like TV dinner chicken (as in, might have come frozen/not fresh/store bought and not really chicken/processed). I almost got the salmon but the waiter told me it was farm raised. I felt like the quality of the food wasn’t very good. Also, the service didn’t feel very polished for this price point. For example, they brought the wrong dish to my friend and he had to wait 15 minutes for them to make the correct dish. Also, we were dining with a larger group and they gave us each one menu to share (they said because the menus were large). They took away our menus before we ordered (I think to get them out of the way), but that was pretty weird because I didn’t know what to order or what the dishes were called. Overall, I had a nice experience with the ambiance, but I wouldn’t go back here to eat - maybe just to get a drink.

Wonderful ambiance and warm festive winter vibes. My partner and I ordered a minestrone soup which was subpar. For the main course we got the salmon and vegetarian pasta. Salmon was cooked to perfection which I really liked. We requested to add some more veggies to the pasta however it just came with some over cooked eggplant on pasta sauce. Chocolate cake looked too tempting but was unfortunately too dried from the bottom that it was falling out in pieces even when I was just scooping from the top. The customer service was outstanding and we did not feel rushed at any point. Service was 10/10.

I was really excited to try the truffle pasta and it was pretty good. I don’t understand why the fried mozzarella was $19. I appreciated the complimentary bread and cookies at the end of the meal. My family enjoyed their pasta dishes as well, but we thought the food was way overpriced. The wine and cocktails were also super expensive. The Bellini was alright but lacked enough peach flavor for me. Also, the service was a bit odd and awkward and our server was nice but not super attentive. The ambience was probably the best part but the table was a bit small for 5 people and some of the vibes felt a bit off. Also, our table was not ready when we arrived. I am glad I was able to try it but will not be rushing back.

I had an amazing experience at Bellini Providence! As someone who works in the hospitality industry and enjoys fine dining, including Michelin Star restaurants, I must say that my experience at Bellini Providence was exceptional. The restaurant has a classy ambiance, and I was impressed from the moment I walked in. Although I didn't have a reservation, the manager kindly accommodated me. Upon being seated at the table, I was warmly greeted by Lillian, attentive and professional server for the evening. To start off the evening, I opted for a refreshing Hendricks gimlet with a hint of mint, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. For the first course, I savored a delicious Burrata salad paired with flavorful heirloom tomatoes. This was followed by a delightful Pinot Grigio with crisp and citrusy notes, perfectly complementing the subsequent course of octopus accompanied by a flavorful chickpea purée. While the octopus was slightly chewy, the accompanying sauce was incredibly flavorful and enhanced the overall dish. Moving on to the third course, I enjoyed exquisitely cooked scallops accompanied by a light and refreshing side salad, creating a perfectly balanced and satisfying meal. As a delightful accompaniment to the dinner, I selected a wine from one of my favorite wineries in Paso Robles, Daou, adding a perfect finishing touch to the evening. Overall, it was an impeccable dinner experience that left me thoroughly satisfied! As a lover of desserts, I couldn't pass up trying the pistachio and hazelnut gelato, and to my delight, Lillian also brought out an extra dessert, a complimentary Panna Cotta. Both desserts were amazing, and as a Pastry Chef, I couldn't decide which one I liked better. I’d say both. At the end, while I was leaving, Maître d’ checked how was my experience, which I shared and said I’d love to give a 5 start on rest, so she was very nice to add me as a guest so I can leave a review. The restaurant is beautifully maintained, with every corner telling a great story. The ambiance and decor are stunning, and Bellini is a place that Providence needed. Wish it was in Newport, but I can't wait to dine there again soon! Thank you, Bellini Providence! Looking forward to returning soon. Best, Srdan Dokovic

Valet was great. The ambiance was beautiful. The waiter asked what we would like to drink and he never came back. A different waitress helped us not long after. The manager apologized that he had to move our table because where they sat us was previously reserved. We ordered three appetizers- they were incredibly underwhelming with the least bit of flavor. Drinks were aesthetically pleasing though. The waitress offered us free dessert since we had to switch our able and we politely declined since the food wasn’t great to begin with.

Yelp
Bellini is a popular restaurant in RI. It offers a classy, luxury, and intimate atmosphere with a modern, Italian, lavish theme. Perfect for a date night with your honey or brunch/dinner with the family. Service is friendly and each staff member is always dressed up so elegantly. They offer valet parking. The restaurant is connected to the Beatrice Hotel for any out of towners that want a quick bite to eat. My favorite dish is the scallops with a side of rice. It comes with a lemon butter sauce that is incredible! The fried mozzarella is thick and crispy. I love that it's not to oily as well for something pan fried. The mixed green salad makes a great app. It comes with a honey mustard dressing that is subtly sweet and savory. Upon closing out the bill, it always comes with a side of short bread cookies. A sweet treat before you head out. Yum!

Yelp
I chose this restaurant for my husband's team at a conference and it was a lovely choice to make sure that the team felt valued for all they do. I had the Linguine Branzino and could put it on a weekly rotation it was so delicious. The Branzino was flaky, tender, moist and perfectly seared. The linguine was in a perfectly balanced marinara that had a hint both sweetness and tanginess that was delightful. My husband ordered the lobster risotto and it was also amazing! Savory with a hint of sweetness. We chose a French wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. The service was fabulous and Tess was I top of everything. The decorative touches for the holidays were just right and we all enjoyed the show tunes soundtrack!

Yelp
We were thoroughly impressed by our dinner at Bellini! Two years ago, we left feeling underwhelmed, but this time we decided to return, drawn by the inviting atmosphere and warm, welcoming vibe. We're so glad we did! Every dish exceeded our expectations, and we savored each bite. The peaceful ambiance, paired with soft Christmas instrumentals in the background, created the perfect setting for a memorable evening. It was truly a lovely mother-daughter dinner, and we can't wait to come back again! Scallops with lemon butter caper sauce: fantastic! The sauce was warm with the perfect amount of lemon. Steak tartar: very delicious and flavorful. Minestrone soup: not what you would expect from a minestrone soup. However, it was SO delicious. We would highly suggest ordering this as a tummy soother either before your meal or after every other dish. Meatballs: not our favorite dish-- meatballs were a little cold and had a weird crust Truffle pasta: AMAZING! A must order! Creamy and truffles!

Yelp
We recently stopped here for drinks. The bar was beautifully lit up and decorated. The tables around the bar area were very comfy. We all got different cocktails and we loved all of them. They have a large variety of choices for drinks and wines. The service was excellent and the ambiance was very chic.

Yelp
My colleagues and I had a reservation at Bellini for our Team End of the Year Appreciation Dinner. When Bellini texted my colleague who made the reservation to confirm dinner the day prior, it said they don't allow shorts or hats. Since I was the first to arrive, I waited in the front area where the hostess is situated. There were 4 chairs. Valet parking is available and street parking but it may be hard to find. The restaurant is very modern and spacious inside. We were a group of 10 and were seated in the private room in the back of the restaurant at one long table. On the table were two drink menus. I started with the Bee's Knees which had Gin, Honey Syrup, Lemon Juice, Calabrian Chili and then ordered the Empress 75 which had Prosecco, Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup. Both drinks were good. The Empress 75 has a nice lavender color. My colleague had The Bellini, which is a pretty standard drink with prosecco and white peach. It was served in a cocktail glass and not a champagne flute. The worst part is that it was warm. She asked for a cup of ice and poured it in there, but it did not help. Two bread baskets were brought to the table. It was full of different breads like breadsticks and focaccia. The bread was fluffy and light. For dinner, I had the Tagliardi with "Tartufo Nero di Norcia" Black Truffle Cream Sauce. The Black Truffle Cream Sauce was so creamy, tasty, and succulent. Tagliardi are wide squares of thin pasta. The pasta was silky and velvety and with the sauce, it was delicious! There were also shaved truffle pieces on top. The whole dish was packed with flavor and I enjoyed every bite. At the end of the meal, we got complimentary cookies. They were so buttery and soft. Service was great and attentive. Gratuity was already added to the bill. We left the restaurant feeling full and enjoyed each other's company.

Yelp
Lovely date night atmosphere, food was pretty delicious but slightly overpriced, drinks were great.

Yelp
I almost never leave negative reviews, but I had an experience that was inexcusable. Let me first say that any business has the right to enforce whatever dress code policy that they want. And if a patron doesn't like it, they can leave. In this sense, I am on the side of the businesses. The problem comes when the business doesn't enforce the same rules for everyone. A professional colleague and I were eating and having a drink at the bar. we were both well dressed, with button down shirts and blazers. It was very cold outside, and so I had my tightly-cropped winter hat on while I sat down. An employee asked me to remove my hat. I noted, however, several other patrons, also at the bar wearing caps (one a green baseball cap). I waited to see if this person was asked to remove theirs. The same person who asked me to remove my cap walked past others several times, did not say a word. And so I had to point out this contradiction. There are some bigger reasons why I suspect this double standard was applied, but I won't go there at the moment. I'll only point out that these sorts of standards, inconsistently applied, achieve the opposite of what they seek: they look classless and tacky.

Stephanie W.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful, and the service we received was excellent. Our waiter, Nick, was super kind, helpful and attentive. The food was anything but impressive. We were totally underwhelmed. Especially for the price.

Johanna G.

Yelp
This place deserves the 3.6 stars it has. Although the service and ambiance was great, the dessert and drinks were meh. We ordered a chocolate cake and the vanilla gelato and it was not good. We had a couple bits of the cake and left most of it. The espresso martini tasted like the bottom of the coffee jug. I really wanted to like this place since it looked cute, it's Italian, and I stayed at the hotel, but it really wasn't it. Would maybe go back for a basic glass of wine.

R.J. P.

Yelp
In a word: spectacular! Bellini never gets it wrong. From the moment you enter into the incredible interior you know you're in for a treat. Whether grabbing a cocktail at their beautiful bar, or dining in the sun soaked dining room, the space itself is sure to please even the most discerning eye, and I say this as an interior designer. The service is impeccable, and the cuisine simply delicious. The menu has something for everyone, keeping things fairly simple with a focus on flavor. Every dish tastes of fresh ingredients without any fuss. If you're looking for good food in a gorgeous setting, look no further!

Yelp
This is one of those rare spots where you feel transported to another time & place. The vibe is so cool. It reminds me of a NYC restaurant - no disrespect, PVD. The service is absolutely amazing. The servers are dressed in white jackets with black ties. I chose to celebrate my birthday here and everything was perfect. From Bella, the hostess that made the reservation with the special table requested, to Brooks the perfect bartender - we were well taken care of. Everyone wished me a happy birthday and checked in throughout the night to ensure we were having the best time. The food is phenomenal. The charcuterie had the best quality meats & cheeses that I've had at a local restaurant. The meal ended with a special birthday cake. The evening was everything one wants from a birthday celebration. Loved it all. TY :)

Yelp
While this Italian restaurant isn't on federal hill, it is definitely worth the visit if you're in providence. Located in the Beatrice Hotel in Downcity PVD, Bellini is the perfect restaurant to visit if you're celebrating a special occasion. Beautifully decorated with fresh floral arrangements and modern fixtures, Bellini oozes upscale Italian vibes. The service is impeccable and the waiters/waitresses will help you with any question or request you have. We came here for my birthday and they were extraordinarily attentive. I started with the fried mozzarella which was perfectly crunchy with a soft inside and delicious marinara sauce to dip in. I ordered the the signature pappardelle alla Bellini and was not disappointed. Smooth and the perfect mix of creamy and flavorful. Finally, we finished with the tiramisu with was light and the perfect finale. 10/10 recommend this restaurant for any special event in providence

Yelp
I had a really unfortunately racist experience at this restaurant. We called ahead to ask if there was a dress code and were reassured there was not, but as we were settling in at our table, before we had removed our coats, a hostess asked one of our party to remove a hat. (A retired professor that was not poorly dressed) When we asked the manager why this happened he was patronizing and unpleasant and assumed we didn't understand proper etiquette in "fine dining". This is a hotel restaurant. One of the servers had hand tattoos, and many guests were wearing college sweatshirts. This is not a formal place. I don't want to go to a restaurant that criticizes the appearance of guests, but I can't ignore the racist energy of policing black men's clothes. (Again, this is a retired academic dressed fashionably) No one deserves to be made to feel this uncomfortable at a restaurant.

Yelp
Went for brunch two weekends ago. For Sunday brunch in Providence it was pretty dead. Maybe four tables with guests at the whole restaurant. We had a reservation and we're seated immediately. But it took 15 minutes for a server to come over and even give us water. And that was only after I inquired about where our server was. There were several staff members just loitering in the entrance to the galley and two others leaning on the bar on their phones. The service was honestly not good. While the waitress was nice, she was not very attentive, did not really know the process of taking guests orders, did check on us until about 10 minutes after we got our food. She never introduced herself, she just came over and said would you like water, poured the water, then said I'll come back for your drinks, which we said we are actually ready we've been waiting a while. She took the drink orders then began to walk away and we said no we actually are ready to order, in which she was very caught off guard. The food did come out in good timing and was actually very delicious, the reason for the 3 stars. We would eat there again however possibly for dinner, maybe a weekend night where it has a more bustling vibe, and hopefully better service

Harry C.

Yelp
Nothing special. Ordered the lasagna and pappardelle, which got there extremely quickly. This made us suspect it was not made fresh, and that was only made more apparent when we started eating it. The lasagna was just bland and the pappardelle seemed like it was sitting out for a bit. Overpriced and under delivered.

Natania M.

Yelp
I adore Bellini. Whenever I decide to dine there, I know I will be treated to a great dining experience. Everyone I've encountered has been so friendly and accommodating, and the very few times something has gone amiss, they rectify it immediately in a very generous way. The restaurant is beautiful, and feels straight out of an episode of Mad Men. I feel incredibly calm once seated as the lighting is just right. And the food! Everything I've had has been delicious, but my favorite dish is the Pappardelle "alla Bellini" which is simple, but rich, and very flavorful. The namesake drink is to die for and is a perfect accompaniment to your meal. Save room for dessert because the Vanilla Gelato with nuts and chocolate sauce is unreal and is big enough for three. I'm so glad we have Bellini in Providence so I can continue to enjoy all it has to offer!

Kaitlin D.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere and impeccable service. White glove turn around and the drinks were amazing a little small but came super fast. We had the carpaccio and oysters tuna salad and pasta special would order al again in a heartbeat

Irene M.

Yelp
The portion sizes are not big. This place is definitely fancy and meant to come dressed to impressed. The staff is attentive and helpful. There is valet parking available. The food was good, the lasagna was well made. I did not like the salmon dish, it was very bland. The drinks were good and made well.

Rosario S. C.

Yelp
The Bellini restaurant in located in downtown Providence attached to the Beatrice Hotel. It is a very beautiful restaurant with a nice bar area. There are some great choices for dining, try the Bolognese. Everything is delicious right down to the bread. There is valet parking which makes things easy.

Yelp
I'm officially a Bellini Babe ! I loved the ambience & decor as soon as I walked in, the staff were so friendly! I was immediately greeted by the staff upon walk in & they continued the great service throughout the whole night. The drinks were 10/10 I recommend the Bellini as it's the restaurants staple & the fruity rum drink ... I can't remember the name but it was so good & got the job done in 1/2 drinks. The food was good but personally I would not order clam pasta again . Even though I wasn't a fan of the dish I ordered I will be back simply because of the amazing cocktails & customer service.

Cathy T.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service. Love the ambiance of the place. Biggest downside is the lack of free parking.

Mia D.

Yelp
Excellent dinner! Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I enjoyed some of the unique dishes including the salmon appetizer. The ambiance was top notch and they seem to have hoping bar scene that is not disruptive to dinner guests. You should be away that it is very expensive. The martinis are small and costly. For two us the bill was about $300 which seemed excessive considering what we ordered. Definitely a great spot for a special occasion, however be prepared for the bill.

Michael K.

Yelp
Short ribs and the GNOCCHI, thank me later. Nothing much I can say bad here. From the ambiance to the service, to friendliness of staff, to the taste and execution of the dishes, to the cocktails. The chef CLEARLY cares. No bones about it. This place gets an easy 4... some negatives are parking is a bit of a hassle, be prepared to pay to park diagonal across the street and if the lot is full you'll have to park a couple more blocks away , and the bathroom situation is suspect. You literally have to leave the restaurant to wash your hands or do your business in the adjacent office lobby the restaurant connects to. Small price to pay for a very memorable dining experience though.

Joanne D.

Yelp
First of all , very expensive. Very classy from ambiance to cocktails to food preparation to servers. While there, there was a family with 3 very young boys. They were all in suit and ties, and you never heard a peep from their table. They were speaking in hushed tones. Very impressive. Even your choices of water was impressive! Maia was so very helpful. Soft spoken and knowledgeable. filet mignon was done perfectly at med well. No blood but hot red center! The meatballs were a little weird for our ideas but the linguini was delicious. Spicy shrimp with arugula was enjoyed by friend. Would I say go here. yes! Dress nicely, and expect to pay premium for premium everything.

Yelp
First time at Bellini's today to celebrate my bday. The atmosphere was beautiful. Very clean and crisp. Although this is a fine dining restaurant, it did not feel too stuffy and/or uncomfortable. We brought our 3 year old and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Hubby had the beef tartare and I had the burrata and prosciutto as an app. Hubby said it was the best he's had. My app was also delicious and light. For our main dish, hubby had the Tagliardi and I had the Tortelli. Again, both dishes were delicious and light, saving room for dessert. My son and I split the chocolate mousse, which was very creamy. It almost had a gelato consistency. The bartender went out of his way to make me a delicious grapefruit mocktail. Everything was on point. We will definitely recommend and return.

Linda S.

Yelp
Only found out about this place due to Restaurant Week and wanted to check it out bc of the pretty pictures on the interior. Gorgeous gorgeous place and it felt like we weren't in RI. Felt like we were on vacation. Food was good enough but not Great. I might return again for the ambiance and endive salad. Lol. Service was wonderful and friendly, no complaints there. Only negative is the parking. The road was closed so there was no valet. We had to park far and walk in the cold maybe 5 minutes?

Jeffrey G.

Yelp
Stopped here after passing by a couple of times. We had no reservations, but we're seated right away at an outside table. Our waitress (Myrah) was very friendly and explained everything while taking our orders. I had the Branzino and it was cooked perfectly with a really good parsnip puree. My wife had the panned seared salmon and really enjoyed it. I whole experience was very good, well worth another visit.

Susan K.

Yelp
Bellini, located in the luxurious Beatrice Hotel, is the most recent addition to the Italian Cipriani restaurant portfolio. Named after the peach juice-infused cocktail conceived in 1943 by Giuseppe Cipriani, Bellini offers locals and visitors meticulously prepared and presented dishes in a spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed setting.

Eliza G.

Yelp
Sat at the bar with friends. Our bartender Deandra was attentive, knowledgeable, and made some incredible cocktails for us. Bar and hotel are gorgeous. Shared a bunch of apps. Everything was good - gnocchi cacio e pepe was the standout, as was the bread service. Definitely come in to try

Miss T.

Yelp
Not sure why the low rating . The execution of the place is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious! We decided to take our shot because of the great things one of our dear friend had to say about this place. We had reservations for 8 but we were running a little late ...15 mins late, so we called, told them and it was no problem at all. When we arrived and as you walk through the doors the beautiful ambience hits you right away! It's like you're in a movie in New York or in Boston. Very upscale and honestly nothing like it in Rhode Island. The hostess greeted us with the sweetest smile and asked us to wait 3 minutes as they were setting up the cutest table for us. It gave us a perfect view of the bar and the whole restaurant. My husband had the fillet mignon and it was out of this world. Cooked medium rare and they did not fail to deliver a perfectly cooked and flavorful steak. I had the Spaghetti Vongole and it was spectacular. The flavor was just right. They have a great wine selection as well as drinks. We had two glasses of smooth velvety Sangiovese merlot and the most elegant champagne worth the $32 for it. The design of the place is Classic upscale Italian mixed with modern touches. The server as well as the bartender's attire was absolutely adorable/classy which matches the theme and ambiance of the restaurant perfectly. I feel these negative reviews are people who can't afford it and don't understand the concept of beautiful scenery and good food.

Vijay S.

Yelp
I was looking forward to checking this place out since last October. Finally got to check it out during restaurant week. Came during lunch. Their house Cabernet wine was pretty good. For starters, we got the endive salad and the lentil salad. I didn't like the endive salad nor the dressing on it. The lentil salad was Aok. For main course, we got the seared salmon and the organic chicken alla pizzaiola. The rice pilaf that came with the chicken was the best part of the meal. Chicken itself was bit too tangy. The salmon was bit dry, also Aok. For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse and the vanilla merengue. Prob liked the mousse better. Overall, the food really wasn't that good, especially for those prices. It's a good place to have drinks after work at the bar. The rooftop is not open yet, although you need to have a membership to access it. They do have valet parking.

Calamari C.

Yelp
Wonderful old world Italian food in a really nice environment. Classical service. Nice wine selection. Best pasta downtown

Gillian K.

Yelp
Bellini's is a class act. From the interior decor to the smooth interactions with our server. Of course, we had to have the Bellini cocktails... (3 each in fact) and they were out of this world in terms of freshness. The good was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it.

Sid R.

Yelp
Bellini had high ratings on Resy so I decided to try it while back in town. Great ambience, bar, and service. I had Spaghetti alle Vongole and my fiancée tried the salmon. Salmon was slightly overcooked but presented well with some veggies. The spaghetti I had was slightly undercooked, had too much olive oil (I was warned) which overpowered the entire dish's taste, quite heavy on salt, and clams were a bit undercooked and chewy. I ended up not eating much but preferred to not send it back. Unfortunately, having spent a lot of time in Italy, I have great palette for Northern Italian and French cuisine so I can be a tough customer. I will definitely revisit and give them another try but I will not order this particular dish there. Drinks were made to perfection though and service was solid!

Nila R.

Yelp
Exceptional Food, Ambiance, and Service at Bellini I recently hosted my private party (a micro wedding) at Bellini, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The service went above and beyond, with attentive and professional staff who accommodated my request for a private room (for free!). Bellini made my special occasion truly memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic, with flavors that were rich, balanced, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was enchanting, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Bellini!

Yelp
Great food, phenomenal service. You can ask questions about the menu without feeling judged. Would go back for a special event

Celebrated my birthday, excellent food and service! Ambiance was very nice. Ordered the filet mignon.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated space. Pricey but delicious. Attentive servers, good food and scrumptious cocktails. This was such a treat. Wonderful option in downtown Providence ! This is a beautiful venue for a special occasion.

Yelp
Dinner entrees and drinks were terrific. Dessert was a little silly. It was half gallon of partially melted vanilla ice cream with hersheys syrup.

Yelp
My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Bellini; to us it lived up to all the hype. The atmosphere is sublime, and the food was up to match it. We opted for a few of the specials, a Block Island swordfish fillet and gnocchi. My swordfish was tender in a beurre blanc sauce, and my wife loved her gnocchi. Our tirimasu was also bakery quality. Our servers were top notch and we had a lovely date night in the lounge.

Yelp
10/10 Experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was even better. My water glass was never empty, the recommendations were superb, and everyone was extremely kind. Myra began my service and Deandra continued it once she went on break. Both were excellent and we will be back. Note: There is a dress code for inside so we had to sit outside because my fiancé was wearing shorts. This was fine of course, just something to be mindful of.

Yelp
Had a girls night here Saturday. The ambience was nice. We had a 630 reservation but they were a little behind so we had a drink at the bar. Drinks were good and the bartenders were nice. We ended up having to wait an hour for our table but the management was so nice and offered us appetizers while we waited at the bar. We weren't in a rush so we didn't mind. We sat at 730 - the big chairs they have were super comfy! The entrees were very good! We had the cacio e pepe and the truffle pasta. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the chocolate ganache and a cappuccino. The chocolate cake was good but I would pass on the tiramisu. More like 3 and a half stars but the amazing management and nice servers get the extra 1/2 star.

Yelp
Wonderful service, drinks & food. People who complain about prices of good food should probably review the menu beforehand, rather than leaving a poor review. You get what you pay for

Yelp
We stayed at The Beatrice this past weekend for my cousin's wedding and ate twice at Bellini's. Our waitress was Crystal and she was so attentive, sweet, professional but hospitable. We felt taken care of and appreciated throughout our time in the restaurant. Diondra was also someone who was very attentive and was not assigned to us. Since we came in thru the connecting door from the hotel, I walked in wondering where to checkin for our reservation after 10 hours of flying and airports and Diondra immediately guided us to the front where we were promptly and courteously seated. Next, after ordering food, my daughter grabbed me to find the restrooms and Diondra once again read our minds and clearly guided us to the restrooms (which were behind the hotel lobby). I told her she was our guardian angel. Lastly, Myra was a doll both at dinner service and the next day at brunch as well. This restaurant is classy but not arrogant. Everyone is sweet, professional and caters to your every need. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've tried this twice, been unimpressed twice. A spectacular environment for dining. Attentive service. The problem is the food isn't very good. My veal was tough and oily, killing any flavor. Barely ate a third of it. Pricey for such mediocre quality. I should have sent it back. So I think 0 for 2 at Bellini is it for me. I don't know why the food isn't better.

Yelp
One of the worse experiences my husband and I have had, service-wise. Took 30 mins to get our drinks and no one checked in on our meals. We got a mumbled "sorry your drinks took so long" upon our waitress's eventual return. My husband ordered his eggs over easy and they had clearly been sitting in the kitchen because they were cold and hard. Would never write this review if they seemed to be understaffed, but there was a different waiter for every table, so I'm not sure what was going on. Super disappointing because the restaurant itself is beautiful.

Yelp
We had a lovely evening at Bellini where we went for a nice birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We had an 8pm reservation and my only regret is that we hadn't arrived earlier to enjoy the incredibly gorgeous bar before dinner. The restaurant was completely full during most of our seating but the bar didn't fill up until @9:30. We were offered a drink right when we sat but we needed to take time to review the beverage menu. My only complaint was that we waited more than I would have liked for our drinks orders. Otherwise, the service was great, including the very attentive young men clearing the tables, bringing bread and refilling water. The bread basket included a variety of breads and rolls made on site; our favorite were the bread sticks. I started with a Paper Plane cocktail which was so delicate and refreshing that I duplicated it when I got home! We were immediately given a bread basket and put an order in for a special that night: a polenta appetizer topped with truffle flakes. This did not disappoint. It was creamy, cheesy and hot. Perhaps a bit overpriced at $24 but I suppose when you see truffle flakes, you should expect that. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and I went for the branzino, a fish you usually see on menus in the south not so much in New England. The prep with capers and olives spoke to me and it was lovely. It could have used something more distinguished and substantial on the side and this place ( like a steakhouse) offers a menu of sides for $10 each. I always find that slightly annoying because until I see the dish, I have a hard time determining if I need a side, and the meat and fish entrees all seemed to come with something( though I suspect they are more decorative, allowing the protein to be the star of the show). My husband found the fresh pasta, sauce and small veal meatballs to be substantial and we'll be having the leftovers for lunch today. Since it was our first time there, I wanted to try dessert. There were several selections, all made on site and all $15. The proliferates were basically three substantial cream puffs covered in milk chocolate with a few berry's and decorated with whipped cream and mint. I took 2 home. They were good but the chocolate sauce interfered a bit with the texture of the pastry. I might have preferred a dark chocolate drizzle. The presentation looked like it might have sat pre- made too long before it came to me and I discovered a lovely dark chocolate coin with the Bellini name in gold turned over, late in the game. When having my cappuccino, they brought out delicious homemade cookies that we of course had no room for, so threw them into my take home bag like a stereotypical senior citizen stealing rolls from a banquet table! The dining room is intimate, warm and comfortable with no bad tables and everyone is spaced out comfortably. While the bar gets loud when filled it never bothered our dining experience; if anything the excitement of the build up of action enhanced the city dining experience. Joe Paolino has accomplished what he wanted to: established a fine dining restaurant that looks like it could be in New York, Miami or any cosmopolitan city. We had a relaxed and enjoyable adult dining experience. A few suggestions. The drink menu offers nearly all at $16 and the desserts are nearly all $15 with one at $19. I would prefer to see a range of prices, more reflective of the cost and labor involved in each. Maybe that's just me. Interior decor: the place Is gorgeous but for some reason the light pink flowers( not sure if they are fake or real) didn't work for me against the beautiful wood and deco-ish decor. They sort of looked like they belonged in an Asian themed restaurant. With all of this, I highly recommend you try this newish addition to the Providence dining scene, especially on a night you want to feel special. It will also be a place I'll return to just to the bar with friends to share some apps or pasta.

Yelp
Here's the deal - I ate here last week while in Providence on business. I really, really enjoyed the food, it's a fairly formal environment, but eating at the bar is welcomed, which I did. All the staff except one were incredibly warm, engaging, and just fantastic, I'm leaving one star (and this review) for the one who wasn't. There was a manager/supervisor there (older guy, shorter, collar length dark hair) who was so rude and condescending towards one of his staff members at the bar, that I was infuriated. This guy really thinks he is something in his private little people playground (the restaurant) and when I mentioned to a staff member I was getting up to go confront this egomaniac (I was so mad, I mean REALLY confront him), I was told it would only make it worse for all of them. What? He'll take it out on them??? Hey Bellini management/ownership, PLEASE tell me you are not the cliche, antiquated fine dining restaurant that thinks well funded business travelers want to see this. We don't. The world has changed and NOTHING will make me turn my back on a business and tell all my 50ish colleagues who also travel monthly to Providence about it. People have had it with this kind of stuff, including me. Next month I'll be back, and if I witness this again, I'm not just leaving a review, I'm addressing it with him myself in front of the whole restaurant, someone has to. Do something about this Bellini and do it now. In return, you've won a loyal new customer as I enjoyed everything else. Happy to amend this review with all the parts of your restaurant I enjoyed once this sociopath is addressed. Thank you.
