First bad review I've ever written online about anything.The childish lies that have been ongoing are ridiculous. Sofa delivered with one absurd size headrest. Gala agreed and IMMEDIATELY assured me that the appropriate size will get shipped directly to me, from Belgium in August in a week, maximum. Apologized profusely. It meant nothing. Never happened. Once they cashed my check, never heard from Gala or anyone again. Then I was told that the person from the store that represents this Belgium furniture would come to my home? Sure! Doesn't matter, never happen. Then the weekly dodging of my phone call, then the monthly nonsense of "it's coming in the next container", then acting like they don't understand what the problem was in the first place. Wow. Then remembered and assuring me it's in the "next container shipment" and the next container and the next.. Now they're literally hanging up on my calls. Things happen during delivery all the time, understood, but there's no reason to lie and pretend create stories and drag this out especially as they have been paid in full. Someone needs to pick up the phone and sincerely resolve this like grown ups. Now stuck with a sofa that I spent almost $6000, a disfigured shape. Feel like a fool trusting Gala.

This place is a SCAM. We should have listened to the plethora of one star reviews and not the others. We have not received part of our furniture for a YEAR!!! They were promising and pretending to schedule deliveries for 6 months and then radio silence now. They kept saying they scheduled it, we have taken off from work on so many days to be home for the delivery and each time we call back they act shocked that it never arrived. Absolutely ridiculous. And no accountability or apologies. They dropped off the wrong part and have refused to pick it up and yelled at my mother when she called asking them to take back the wrong piece (wrong size, doesn’t even fit). Avoid this place at all costs. No furniture you may want is worth the stress. We have been in contact with Galina about this and she blames anyone she possibly could and whenever we speak to someone else at the company they blame her. I called once a week for about a year, putting it on my schedule to try to see if there was an update, and the only updates I received were unfortunately lies. We are done playing nice.

Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a furniture store! The owner Dmitri, personally drove 4 hours away and set up my couches by himself. He actually knows his products very well as my couch came with the wrong legs, and he straightened it out with the manufacturer and express mailed me the parts literally 2 days later. He even offered to come back 4 hours out to drill the holes and install them himself. Overall, each step of the way he communicated with me from information about my couches, to when he would arrive. This customer service is truly A1!

I don’t usually buy furniture online but I came across this particular piece that was the exact measurements that I needed. I wasn’t sure how it would work since I live out of state but I put in my zip code and got a shipping fee so I made the purchase. I was kept in contact with pretty regularly about the progress of shipment by Dmitry who was really friendly, and the store itself made the delivery, a 4 and a half hour drive one way and assembled the piece! Everyone was super friendly and professional. I was unable to be there for the completion of the assembly but when I returned everything looked amazing. I am so happy that I have had such a great experience and I’m not used to a company going so above and beyond for a customer. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again!

HORRIBLE!!! Stay far away!! This place is so unprofessional. I have been waiting months for my furniture. I ordered a bedroom set and it never came. Every time I call, I get the same answer that it is coming tomorrow. It has been two months now and nothing has came. So I have to go in there and every time I go in there, they tell me it’s coming tomorrow. It has been two months now and no furniture still.THEY ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR FURNITURE!!!! HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT GET ANYTHINGNFROM HERE

This furniture store was the only one that had the item I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the honesty of Dimitri regarding the item's availability. He kept in contact throughout the transaction, which I found reassuring. Used them two times, first experience was amazing, but second one was horrible! Ordered bunch of items for our new apartment, most of the items got delivered, but much later than promised. Dining chairs never got delivered, I kept calling every few days and they were either finding new excuses or telling me next week and that kept going on for months. In the end I ordered it from different store and got them delivered next day. Till today they still didn’t deliver them or even called. So I would say this store is like lottery, you can have either good or very bad experience.

My mother purchased a dining room table from this company that was advertised as coming with six chairs. When it was delivered, they only brought two chairs. We immediately contacted them to resolve the issue, but they have ignored our calls and messages ever since. It’s been nothing but frustration — no updates, no explanation, and certainly no chairs. This is unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unacceptable. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

THE STORE OWNER GALINA, IS A SCAMMER AND A FRAUD. We ordered 2 months ago and every day she kept saying it wound arrive tomorrow or the day after. Now she doesn't answer the phone or hangs ap. Don't buy anything from them - she makes big promises, but in reality, you will just lose your money.

I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with the service I have received from this furniture store. I have made multiple purchases from them and each time they have promised to deliver my furniture within a certain timeframe, only to continuously postpone the delivery date. At this point it has been more than SEVEN months ! Every time I call to inquire about the status of my order, I am met with condescending and dismissive attitudes from the employees. This place will be happy to take your cash and then leave you hanging giving one excuse after another with no resolution. I have had enough of their unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service. This store should be REPORTED to the Better Business Bureau for their shady business practices and mistreatment of customers. I would strongly advise anyone considering making a purchase from this store to think twice and find a more reputable and reliable furniture retailer.

The sellers and even the owner of the store, whose name is Dmitry, are scammers. They promised delivery for several weeks. After all this, they said they would return the deposit. They have not done either one yet. I do not recommend dealing with these scammers.

I totally agree with many recent reviews here. The store manager Gala and her son Dmitry (the store owner) are crooks, who take deposits and never deliver the furniture. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Gala kept my $4.5k in deposits for over 6(!) months making never-ending excuses. They are just liars and scammers trying to keep your money. They push you very hard to pay cash, so it's easier for them to steal. Fortunately, my spouse refused to pay cash. After waiting for my furniture for over half a year, I opened a claim with my credit card and got my deposit back. I was lucky. Avoid this store at any cost! Regarding the store owner Dmitry Novosyolov's reply below -- it's another lie. I never "stopped communicating and answering the phone." Gala ignored my calls. Also, it's not true that I "requested to make a delivery on a certain day." You had months to deliver the furniture to me but Gala kept making up excuses. The facts speak for themselves no matter what you write here: you used my $4.5k deposit for over 6 months and had no intention of delivering the furniture.

Ordered a bed set from this store and gave them a deposit of 2500 dollars. after several attempts to make delivery, they refused and said that they would return the deposit. after several days of calls, they returned us $1000 and blocked our phones. stay away from these scammers.

My only contact was with Dimitri, the owner, and he turned out to be a BIG help. He had all the pieces I wanted in stock and gave me a great price with discounts I did not even know of. Every time I needed some information or help he was always there. His workers were neat and cleaned up my place well - no issues or complaints. His was the best-priced items that nobody could match! Thanks, Dimitri, will order more from you.

I found a match to a night stand I have been looking for that was a floor model at this store. The owner even sent me photos of a couple of scratches to make sure I understood this was a lower price because it was the floor model. It was sent to me in Florida and came within a week. The man delivering was so professional. I mean it was such a great experience.

We purchased small table back in August and never received it. Galina constantly lied about delivery dates . 4 months later I called to request a refund but was told that I should come in person to process it and not to get "Smart" with her. I work outside of New York and my wife is a first responder , we simply don't have time . Few times we stayed home expecting delivery based on Galina's false promises. Belissi furniture, your customers are good people , we are not like you , we bring you business , learn to respect us without nasty attitude and don't lie to us. They don't respect customers and should not be in this business. Unethical business practices, poor customer service . Both ladies are nasty and angry , constantly lying promising to deliver and never deliver. Do not recommend to anyone.

I have made 4 purchases from this furniture store...they have never disappointed me... they have great prices and fantastic customer service! I have purchased four sleeper sofas from them in the past seven years (for different rooms). They're delivery is fast (within a few days) and they ALWAYS make sure the customer leaves happy! Thank you Dmitry & Galina for all your help every time I made a purchase!

Five stars for this place! I was hunting down a specific set of dining chairs online and discovered they were available at Bellissi. I connected with their team and they showed just two sets left (exactly how many I needed). They double checked the warehouse, saved them for me, and contacted me to confirm. Then the chairs were shipped to me in Nevada. Throughout the process Dimitri contacted me to make sure I everything was going smooth with shipping delays. He is so kind and truly went the extra mile without me ever asking. He also called after delivery to ensure everything was perfect. It was and I really appreciate this business!

We have been doing business with Billissi for almost a year. All furniture is exceeding expectation in terms of quality and comfort. Prices are very reasonable and Gala makes everything to make negotiations possible. We have made purchases in cash and using the finance; in both ways the process is seamless. They accommodated on everything I needed including my deadlines for staging my new house that Im selling. My entire experience was completely stress free and time efficient. Their Prices beat any online deals and the stock availability and delivery was ready to go the following day!! I was in disbelief how organized and smooth my entire transaction was based on my shortness of time. Untrustworthy and scammers! I ordered this same set last June- received the wrong color and pattern in September with the wrong configuration...was promised a replacement with a new order which takes 3months. Now, 8 months later, they finally get my "correct order". The delivery guys arrive with 2 pieces of the couch, not the whole set. I can't think of anything else to say except for the fact that I was completely scammed. Galina will repeatedly promise that everything is taken care of, when in fact, she can care less.

I ordered a sofa-bed through their website and got the best deal on this particular sofa that is sold by many others on the net and store. Best price: check. Dimitri was wonderful; he's caring and professional. Customer service: check. They have great selection of furniture and very fair prices. I will be coming back to them for other furniture in the near future.

Love this store! Got a few pieces from here and had a great experience with all purchases. Very friendly atmosphere with lots of options. All deliveries were made as expected with quick set ups. Will definitely be back!

It has been 2 years since I bought furniture from Bellissi and I am sooo happy with my decision. When moving into my new apartment 2 years ago I was looking for a nice furniture place. I have been to so many places and I was so happy to come across Bellissi furniture. The quality and variety of stuff in their store is like the best ! It was so hard for me to pick something right away because EVERYTHING there is just amazing ! Very modern pieces which I love. They have really good taste in furniture. I ended up buying a bedroom set, living room set and a kitchen set all from Bellissi. A few months ago I had a little situation with my bed, the headboard comes with lights and the button broke so I wasn't able to turn the lights on and after calling and speaking to Dmitry he was glad to fix the issue. It has been 2 years and he said he would fix the problem free of charge. This is what u call good customer service ! Definitely recommend this place and if I ever need any other kind of furniture I will only be coming here.

Do not go there!!!!!!! Discusting attitude towards buyers, they ordered a mattress, we were told that it will be in a week, and in the end we are waiting for it for the second month and have not yet received it, then we have not brought it, we simply do not answer, it is there, it is not there. When calling on the phone the next day they said the delivery, they again lied that they mixed up the sizes and asked to wait another week ... notice this happens repeatedly. on my last call the woman began disrespectfully and insulting to talk to me, I will never go back and I do not advise you, a bad, discusting shop with a terrible attitude towards the buyer !!!!!

AVOID THIS FRNITURE PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE I found a couch I liked and this place had it and was to closer to my home than ordering it online so I took the chance and ordered my couch from here. Delivery was VERY late and when it DID arrive, 2 plain clothed men who appeared homeless (not a judgement just a fact), looked filthy- clothes were totally hokey and dirty and smells were terrible and had mouths full of bad gold teeth came to my home to deliver/ assemble couch. I was absolutely scared and should have turned them away but waited so so long for the couch and my husband was home... big mistake!!!! I stupidly went out of the room for approximately 5 minutes and when they left my Brand NEW iPhone 6 went missing!!!! Now this is definitely a red flag because I NEVER left the house that day (WHY?) I was home all day waiting for the stupid delivery! My Last phone call was from my home to complain about the extreme lateness!! About 15 minutes after the "delivery men" left I noticed my phone was gone! Myself, my husband and my nanny (of 3 years) scoured the entire apt before accusing the 2 . In addition, my phone was fully charged and it was ON. 15 min after those so-called delivery men left--we called my phone and it was manually turned off. We were told Sorry no we didn't take your phone (of course). When we called the company to complain and perhaps give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe the phone fell into the plastic or taken by error or maybe they thought my iPhone was THEIR iphone-- no they said. We have cameras so after reviewing the footage we saw one guys hand on the counter where my phone was and both were crowding the area and the couch was placed in front of them (we believe strategically so). Nonetheless circumstantially we unequivocally know what really happened. unbelievable. These men were dressed in dirty jeans and shoes and we're obviously NOT professional servicemen but likely some guys from the street and as it appears, they seem to have taken it upon themselves to seize an opportunity.It's unfortunate and disgusting. Weeks and now months later the phone was Never found and was likely and probably sold on the black market by now by those two alleged delivery people. The salesman likely had NO idea about what happened but how he and this company handles the situation makes them just as bad if not worse...and when we spoke to him he believed the phone would turn up and said he asked those men and they said they had nothing! But of course they would--nothing else was done or said. Also as per the salesman, upon questioning their so-called delivery people, they said "we saw money and your phone on the counter.". so it seems they were quite observant for guys who were simply delivering a couch. The final straw was I called the company to speak to the owner to let him know what took place. I could never get the owner or manager for that mater. When I asked for the owner, some guy said who is this?. I said I am a customer and he said He could not "give out that information!!!". I said really??? what kind of business IS THIS??? Firstly, as a legitimate business, hiring random unprofessional people (no uniforms, no English at all !! and completely disheveled) is wrong and the cheap labor to cost you good business is a bad decision and secondly not acknowledging any part of what I said as a customer is careless and shows they simply do not care and thirdly,they were downright rude to me and accused ME of lying!! Why would a company accuse a consumer of saying her phone was missing for no reason at all when she did not leave the home the entire day as opposed to question those 2 men? Lastly, each time I call the phone rings like 20 times and then I get a callback from a different number like a cellphone where the person is on the street on a personal cell- being forwarded. You be the judge. In my opinion--based on my experiences with this company it is Not a Good ONE at all. I only gave them 1 star because the actual couch has held up and is nice but I wish I have LA Furniture or another co the business instead. Do yourselves a favor and spend the extra money for shipping at LA Furniture or look elsewhere and avoid this place Please. It's not with it. Don't allow them to do this to you or anyone else.

My husband and I bought all of our furniture for our new apartment from Bellissi and so did my parents when they were furnishing their apartment 5 years ago. The owner is really helpful and gives the best prices that you will find on the market.

Bought the furniture from this guys last year, delivery was done 2 days later then scheduled, probably this guys think that everybody are waiting for them and don't have any job. After they delivered the furniture for my master bedroom, that i paid about $5000 every single peace was damaged from the factory, owner of the store received pictures from me 3 days later and kept feeding me with promises that they will replace it. Same thing with my Dining set that paid over $2000 for, lags on my chairs where damaged. So basically stay away from them, they only goal is to sell, but they don't care about you after that.

I never write reviews, but now I feel is an appropriate time I have to. Maybe someone will read this and saves time, money and most of all aggravation by dealing with this scam artists. So I will make a long story very short, read carefully please. This is a scam, when they tell you "Made in Italy or Belgium" or any other highand manufacturing country, made in China. Prices are 100% inflated . Sectional that maximum cost $ 3500. they selling for over $6300 When I went back for refund, nop, no refund!!! Now I can't get my money back. I have to contact my bank for a refund. To sume it up! This "shop" is a scam, overpriced, rude, no refund. If you read this you are warned, stay away!

Pros: The price they offer for furniture is unbeatable. Visit a few places for what you are looking for and then give them a visit, they will give you a better price. They kept in touch regarding the delays which I also appreciated. The delivery guys themselves did an excellent job assembling the bed, and when I say excellent, I own a moving company, so I know thing or two about a thing or two. No spare parts, so I tipped them well. The bed I chose ended up a tad darker. to my surprise, but is up to the manufacturer I guess and not these guys. Cons: The bedroom set consisted of a bed, 2 nightstands and a dresser. While the bed and 2 nightstands came only few days later than the expected arrival, the dresser arrived a month and a half later. Upon the first delivery, the delivery guys did not mention that there is no dresser up until the moment they finished assembling the bed, claiming that it arrived damaged and they will redeliver another one once it ships a few weeks later. While damages happen, and being in the industry I understand, I would have appreciated a choice of having these thing delivered all at once, instead of delivering these things one by one, as I got rid of my other bedroom set, to replace it with the one in question. Needless to say, I ended up being without a dresser for almost a month which was inconvenient. The bottom line is that if you don't mind the wait, go for it. In all honesty, I feel that this is a 3.5 star review. I will give these guys 5 stars however, but hope that the owner understands my concern and improves the said area of communication for his future business.

False promises and broke it 4 times when it comes to delivery date, waited 2 months already. Horrible experience with the staff as well with their nonchalant attitude when it comes to request for information. Furthermore, the only thing that they tell you is to get a refund and even that is an issue. Been waiting 2 weeks for refund already and it still did not come back to the card I used. When called, they said they said they don't remember what happened. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME.

I bought a bedroom set and entertainment center. So far I am very happy with both items. The store had great prices and Galina was great to deal with. My entertainment center was damage and she provided great customer service and re-delivered a new piece. I would highly recommend going here as your won't find a better deal or nicer people to deal with in the area. Thanks again Galina!

What excellent and honest service! I thought these type of establishments no longer existed - anything to make the customer happy and we DEFINITELY are! Dmitry and his staff are wonderful! Quality and delivery of our furniture were as promised! Highly recommend them and will use them again when necessary!

Their furniture selection is beautiful. The prices are reasonable. We had a great experience with them, through and through. We purchased an Istikbal Sleeper Sectional and a bed with storage. Initially we were dealing with Galina who was really nice and very understanding. She worked with us to set the best date and time for delivery because our building has very strict rules. Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding and the ridiculous rules of our building the delivery guys came out all the way to NJ and they had to turn around and go back because our building did not allow them to deliver that particular day. Galina was very understanding and so helpful, she re-scheduled the delivery and worked with us every step of the way. On the second delivery attempt unfortunately Galina was not feeling well and we worked with Dmitriy, who is the owner. He was always very polite on the phone, answered every single question and went absolutely above and beyond to help us get all our furniture in one piece. We are so grateful to have our beautiful furniture and that the store and their team were so nice to us despite all the strict requests of our building and having to deliver the items twice. I highly, highly recommend this store and look forward to returning here to buy more furniture for the rest of the apartment.

I typically don't take the time to write a business review other than when I feel irate and mistreated with lack of professionalism or extremely satisfied with a product or service. I recently made dining room set purchase for my mother at Bellissi Furniture. The sales personnel were very accommodating and honest. They took their time in helping us find the perfect set, keeping our budget and style in mind. The delivery went smoothly and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a great deal and high quality pieces.

We've got quite a few furniture pieces from Bellissi over the past year. In-store service is always good and attentive. Owners are very knowledgeable and point us in the right direction every time. Prices are reasonable, and of course you get what you pay for. Italian and Portuguese furniture is much nicer (and of course more expensive) than Chinese or Malaysian. That's to be expected. So you can buy within your price range but be realistic about the quality. All the furniture we got was undamaged and assembled well. The selections are versatile. There are a couple of reasons why this is not a 5-star review. The other lady who works at the store (not owner) doesn't seem to know anything so I am not sure what her function is. Delivery was late by a few days a couple of times (always with a call and a warning though). I can't blame the store for this, but I can blame their delivery company and the fact that they keep doing this, so just be aware. Sometimes the store also forgets to call back or follow up on a question, but that happens and is not a big deal. Overall, I would recommend them as one of the better furniture stores in the area.
