Bellows Air Force Station Market Place

The vendor market place at Bellows is always loaded with good food, and a couple of Michelin star chefs have a truck there on most Saturdays and Sundays. There's shrimp and pastele tacos from @happyRico, vaifala local style fruit drinks, shave ice, soursop tea, Filipino food, a couple of smash burgers can be found. And then there's us! My wife and I own Shibuyadogs, featuring BBQ jumbo HOTDOGS with classic and Japanese toppings. Served in a premium toasted roll. And Kalbi plate and BBQ CHICKEN PLATE lunches with very local style marinade. Served with rice and a side of kimchee. OF COURSE we would love to see you at our tent for lunch, but even if we don't have the thing you are looking for, there's so much to choose from. Come on out. Saturdays are good, Sunday has more vendors usually.

The food truck vendors are back at Bellows Air Force station entrance. Today I tried shredded beef tacos from Barria Tacos. I got a chance to watch them make it and they explain to be about including the dipping sauce, the dip the tacos into. Great idea! There are delicious and a new experience for me with a dipping sauce. Give him a try if they're back here again.

Oh my ouch !!!! so much fun. The Shirmp was so good, pineapple drink delicious. It was a great place to eat. Thank you.

Enjoyed a delicious pineapple banana smoothie. Everything looked and smelled delicious. Each smoothie isade with fresh fruit by hand by one person so be patient. Sit back and relax. It's Hawaii. 🤙😊

The man who sells coconuts is a scammer and takes advantage of tourists. When you ask him the price of something, he comes close to you and whispers the price. He told me $20 for one coconut. Obviously, I said no and went to the shop next door to buy a hot dog. While I was buying the hot dog, a couple went to buy coconuts. They asked him the price, and he whispered it. The woman tried to confirm and asked, "$10?" and he said yes. I was shocked. He doesn’t display his prices like the other vendors. Avoid this guy

Smash burger food truck was amazing. Unfortunately they were only accepting cash or Venmo, but we're not charging tax so I was only able to buy 2 burgers. The waffle fries looked delicious tho, which I would have bought, plus 2 more hamburgers if they accepted credit card 😞. Across the street was a Peruvian food truck which I'll have to try next time, too. Also had a poke bowl truck but he was all sold out, and several other trucks. Definitely a good place to come for ONO GRINDZ!

Great stop on the weekends. We found a vendor selling salt and vinegar beef jerky which turned out to be the best beef jerky I have tasted. Food all had a special twist to it so lots of choices and no way to sample all the possibilities even with four or five stops. Definitely worth the stop.
