Belmar Spa & Beach Resort

Was very impressed with our stay, location is away from the shops and supermarkets but the location not far from the beach is a bonus. We stayed in late September and weather was lovely most days and could swim at the beach and pools. Very easy to get Bolt to shopping areas and not very expensive. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Often ate out at the Seafood restaurant at the beach and in town. But food at the hotel was great especially the buffet breakfast. Would highly recommend,.- great place to stay.

This was a good place to stay for our group. We loved the location being close to a beautiful beach and it was a nice walk or easy Uber ride to historic Lagos. Parking was also easy. The design of the resort itself is not very good and it is showing signs of aging. There are a lot of stairs that can be avoided but not easily, something to consider for those that have physical accessiblity challenges. ||We had a 3 bedroom apartment and the beds were hard. Two of our group transferred rooms when their husbands arrived and they both said the beds were much better in their studio like hotel rooms.||The towels don't dry and if during our 5 day stay we were only allowed one room service and change of towels which meant lack of several supplies, for example we were left with one small garbage bag for the 5 people in our apartment. And speaking of towels, they are VERY restrictive with their pool towels, it's a bit ridiculous actually. Also, seems one of the outdoor pools could be heated. Definitely felt as though the property was trying to save money. ||We found most of the staff to be friendly, professional, helpful and fun! The food was good and the restaurant atmosphere was very nice. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food at the breakfast buffet.

An absolutely stunning holiday retreat — spotless, elegant, and full of charm. This resort is simply beautiful. Every corner of the property is immaculate — sparkling clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The staff deserve special mention: consistently friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any question or request. We stayed in a small apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea and the gorgeous pool area — the view alone felt like a holiday highlight. The pools themselves would deserve their own review: each one is fantastic in its own way. We especially loved the family pool, from where you enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach through a glass balustrade. The location is slightly outside of Lagos, but that’s actually part of its charm. Within about ten minutes on foot, you reach the starting point of the spectacular cliff-top hike — one of the most impressive coastal walks in the region. After exploring Lagos, we simply took the bus back to the hotel — easy and convenient. The beach right in front of the resort is beautiful and atmospheric, with a lovely beach bar and restaurant. Speaking of food, the hotel’s own restaurant offers excellent cuisine paired with flawless service — a true pleasure every evening. Bottom line: an absolute recommendation. I’m already thinking about how soon I can come back.

Fantastic location right by the sea. The rooms are well appointed and the spaces are well utilised. The restaurant has a great relaxed feeling as you enter and the foot was very good. The pools were well maintained and the gym was more than adequate, although some of the plates ( weights) were slightly rusty. The staff ( including the cleaning staff) were very friendly and amenable. Look into forward to another visit

The hotel is well-suited for families; the rooms are well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The beach is within walking distance but without a car or taxi it will take about 40-45 min walking to the city center if you want to eat breakfast or dinner. I'd like to point out that the hotel breakfasts are overpriced. There are no activities for children other than the indoor pool or at least a playroom. The soundproofing could be better but it was tolerable. The rooms were cleaned perfectly every day, the staff was friendl and the grounds were well kept.

We absolutely loved our holiday here. We had a roof top apartment 3 bedrooms. Wow, incredible views, rooms are beautiful and the furnishings are classy and well thought out. Hotel restaurant is 10/10. So many pools to chose from and indoor pool and spa area with hydro large pool. Beach 3 min walk, perfect soft sand. We got Ubers into Lagos lots of times and also used the bus by the beach. Ubers are around 4 euros. This hotel is 10/10. My teenagers absolutely felt like they were somewhere only rich people come. We have just returned from an 8 night stay at Belmar Hotel Lagos and would recommend this hotel for its location and the facilities available.|The staff were friendly and our apartment on the top floor C3H was comfortable and had an excellent view .|The location was very quiet during November as we expected but it suited us as we always holiday out of season.|Our stay included breakfast which was nice so we only had to cook one meal each day. There was a small supermarket a short walk away that provided everything we needed.|We do not hire a car these days as we are an elderly couple as there are some nice walks in the area.

Enjoyed our stay here. The only drawback for us was the distance to the old city center, but was close to the beach. We like to walk, but did a lot and didn’t want to add that piece. Two good restaurants at the beach too so that was good. The Belmar was nice, the staff attentive, and the restaurant was perfect for our last night there. Of course, the spa and an adults only pool out of 5 pools. If you go, enjoy yourself!
