Learn all about the making of chocolate. Your guide will take you through the gardens and teach about the local fruits and herbs but most importantly the cacao tree. You’ll taste and see fresh pods, smell the fermenting cacao beans, and feel and smell the drying beans. Sample some fresh cocoa tea.

After visiting Grenada for some many years and now living here I visited Belmont Estate for the first time last week wishing I'd done it sooner. The enthusiastic young man was very informative on the from seed to packet process revealing the secrets of why Grenada has the highest quality chocolate in the world citing some very famous elite brands who use their cocoa. We got to see the entire process culminating in seeing chocolate being prepared for selling and for someone who doesn't like dark chocolate I was amazed at how smooth and had just the right amount of bitterness for my taste. The Cocoa Tea at the end of the tour was amazing, again not my favourite thing but this was spicy and very chocolaty with cinnamon, cardamom and other spices resulting in a deep desire for more. After the tour we dined in the restaurant and again highly recommend regardless if you did the tour or not. The split peas and green banana soups were amazing and the entrees with accompaniments in a buffet style again delicious and very high quality. The waiting staff were Michelin Star in level of service adding to the overall experience of quality and professionalism coupled with friendliness. The from start to finish experience is something I highly recommend that you try as one of the pillars of Grenadian society and commerce and the fact that most staff have worked there for many many years speaks volumes on the Belmont Estate....just go.

Historical venue owned by the Belmont family through generations # chocolate factory# shop#restaurant 4⭐️as the food was way too expensive! ££££⚠️ Had a mixed salad, fish roll portion of chips, sparkling water $EC 130.00! Should have for the three course set lunch menu which was around €EC80.00 per person! 🤑😮‍💨🫤😥👎

Would absolutely recommend the Tree-to-Bar tour at Belmont Estate! Our farm guide was Jay who showed us how the abundance of fruits are harvested from the land and even let us cut some mangoes off the trees ourselves. When we got back to the property, Jay explained the process of making the chocolate and helped us customize our own bars to take home. The tour ended with a 3 course meal at the restaurant, where each dish contained some kind of chocolate that was farmed and transformed on the estate!

Great tour guide of more than 20 years explained all about the 400 acre estate and chocolate. Talked about all the local fruits and crops. Tasted chocolate drink and bars. Was educational and informative.

We just turned up and went on a Classic Tour. Guide was brilliant, really knew his stuff and made it really interesting. Bought some chocolate which was delicious! We had the set 3 course meal in restaurant, which was OK. Was not a fan of the caged birds - not in this day and age. There are goats, but not that much more to see. But I would definitely recommend visiting and doing the tour.

The guided tour was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the chocolate making process and the history of Grenada. As part of the tour we got to taste the cocoa bean, cocoa tea and the final chocolates they produce. There is also a nice lunch restaurant there which had great views of the estate and delicious food

Outstanding experience! Excellent tour and great chocolate. A must do in Grenada but do bring bug repellent if you’re walking around in shorts. Shout out to our excellent guide Kelly who was funny, informative, and engaging!
