Belomonte Guesthouse

Beautiful guest house in the city center of Porto. Just a few minutes walk from the River Douro and the Rua das Flores pedestrian zone. Perfectly clean and spacious rooms, exceptionally good and friendly service from the staff. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes served at your table every day. We highly recommend this accommodation.

|We had a fantastic stay at Belomont52 Guesthouse during our family trip to Porto. We stayed in a triple room on the first floor, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and modern—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Despite the guesthouse's central location, it was amazingly quiet at night, so we all slept very well.||Our hosts, Ana and Rui, were absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to visit, which really enhanced our experience in the city.||The breakfast was exceptional—fresh, plentiful, and varied. When we had to catch a tour at 7:30am Ana and Rui thoughtfully prepared a packed breakfast for us to take with us, which we really appreciated. On our final day, they also stored our luggage after checkout and arranged a taxi to the airport, making everything smooth and stress-free.||We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. If you're visiting Porto, we highly recommend Belomont52—it's a hidden gem in the heart of the city!

10/10 - we couldn’t recommend enough. Everything you could wish for during a city break. Location, room & breakfast were perfect. Anna was an exceptional host and a great person, we’re very grateful to have met her. The world needs more people like Anna! ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Belomonte Guesthouse. Before our stay Ana reached out through WhatsApp to discuss our arrival. As we were arriving into Porto 12pm, Ana kindly said that we could store our luggage, as it happened when we did arrive, our room was all ready for us. Ana took the time to give us some really useful insights and tips for our visit to Porto too. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was very efficient and kept the room cold. Despite being fairly centrally located, we found the room quiet. The hotel is small, only 6 rooms which was perfect. It’s very beautifully designed- the perfect mix of old and modern features. The breakfast was also great - nice and light but plentiful. The fresh scrambled eggs on request were delicious too. Thank you for a great stay!

The property was spotlessly clean, breakfast was amazing and location is excellent close to shops and restaurants. The owner Ana made us feel very comfortable and was ready to help us out with whatever we needed. Will definitely stay here again when I am in Porto.

Previous reviews created an expectation that missed the mark. The owners were never present, neither was any staff other than upon arrival and early morning for breakfast. Location great. Room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately wife suffered from diarrhea and vomiting immediately after breakfast and we lost a day as a result. Overall, disappointing.

This is a wonderful Inn or guesthouse. It is a beautifully renovated building. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom is large and very clean. The shower stall is large, with great water pressure and a rainfall shower head. This guesthouse is situated on a relatively quiet side street, so sleeping well in the comfortable bed was not a problem. It is very close to a pedestrian street, with its many restaurants. And it is just a very short (but steep) walk down to the river. I certainly enjoyed my 3-day stay here. Also, the breakfast is wonderful and large. You will not leave hungry in the morning. 😊

We had a lovely stay at this Guesthouse. The location is excellent a short walk to many things including many attractions, cafes and the river. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I would stay here again.
