"Australia's most easterly town has long been a magnet for surfers, spiritual seekers, celebs, foodies, and more recently, Netflix, which saw locals stage a 'paddle out' to protest the reality show 'Byron Baes' being filmed here. With Byron's first Aboriginal tours and the excellent Belongil Beach Italian Food among its pandemic-era openings, there are new reasons to love this genetically blessed beach town." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Absolutely amazing experience from the moment we sat down to the end. Staff was super friendly and it was nice to see Italian people working there. Food was honestly the best we have ever tried! The vide was also great and loved that you can see the Kitchen! No secrets but truly amazing chefs. The head chef came out and explained us how the dishes were prepared and where everything was coming from, which it gave everything a story. Overall we can't fault it anyhow! Would 100% recommend :)

Easily the best pasta in Byron Bay. The calamarata with moreton bay bug was out of this world, probably the best I ever had. Have this with some chilli oil to oomph up the flavours! The grilled prawns were slightly charred which gives the dish more depth. Burrata salad was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed speaking with the service crew. They were friendly and full of passion.

The food here is amazing and the service speed is also fast. The staff are also friendly if you are a local or a tourist. The restaurant was also very clean with clean plates and cups. I would personally recommend the cheese cake and the burger as well as any of the fish from the fish selection.

As soon as we arrived our party was welcomed with very experienced and attentive wait service . Our table of 5 shared entrees and pastas . We loved every dish including our recommended wine and cocktails. The venue was well decorated , modern beach Italian feel to it with some great art .. would highly recommend to visitors to Byron

Spending my birthday at Byron Bay was fantastic! Relaxing and slow pace. My partner found this Italian restaurant in a secluded strip, but well reviewed. What’s the fuss? The food? Splendid! The wine? 2020 Cascina Feipu dei Massaretti Riviera Ligure di Ponente Pigato. Velvety! And the service was exceptional! Compliments to all the staff, especially to Robert who took charge of our food and wine choices. We wanted something light and different. Oysters, scampi, whole bug, tuna, crudo and a lot more. What about sweets? Mascarpone cake and chocolate torta were mouth watering! The table beside us had pasta in red sauce, seafood and a side of focaccia, and from their smiles, I’d say they were satisfied customers. I give it a 5 star as I cannot fault the whole experience! A sincere thank you to all the staff! Make sure to check them out when visiting Byron Bay! You won’t be disappointed.

We had some very good food in this place. The truffle steak tartare for starter was amazing. I also had the moreton bay bug pasta for main, which I only wished contained more bugs.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Spoke to the lovely functions/booking team to reserve a spot for a lunch meeting - the service was so friendly and prompt that it made our reservation something to look forward to on an otherwise dreary weekend. The highlights were the pastas - deliciously dense ragu with homemade sheets of pasta, the compressed wasabi watermelon wrapped in prosciutto and the expertly crafted cocktails. What a destination and a perfectly located restaurant that is away from the hustle and bustle from the Byron township.

Absolutely delicious! Excellent service, food and atmosphere; and very reasonably priced for the quality and experience provided. A few dishes with a different flavour for those a bit more adventurous. Definitely worth a visit if you are ever visiting Byron Bay. You won’t be disappointed!
