Belvedere Mykonos, Mykonos, Greece - Explore & Book

"Mykonos was the first Greek island to be ‘discovered’ in the 1950s, and its main town rapidly gained a reputation as the Cyclades’ most picturesque harbour. With its perfectly curved bay, its tangle of white-washed alleys and those much-photographed windmills, it became a must-see for any island-hopper. Today, trendy clubs and fashion boutiques attract a more colourful, pan-European crowd of the young and beautiful, including a vibrant gay scene.Near the top of town - and of its accommodation range - the Belvedere positively oozes style and glamour. With a sushi restaurant courtesy of Nobu (where Japanese cuisine meets the Aegean Sea), a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, an in-house DJ playing poolside, and bar drinks mixed by the man who founded the American Cocktail Museum, its credentials are as impeccable as the guests' tans. The town centre is near enough to stagger back from a night on the dancefloor, yet far enough to sleep in relative peace when you get in. And when you wake, there's that picture-postcard view (and a bumper breakfast buffet till noon). So, if you feel like a sybaritic salad of sunshine, shopping and sashimi, place your order here! Highs The panoramic pool with its white-leather loungers is the meeting point for the island's glitteratiThe acclaimed Matsuhisa Mykonos - the first open-air Nobu restaurant in the worldFrom Bosé speakers to muscle-soothing jacuzzis, everything is designed to indulgeThis is a great place to make new friends, and most rooms can accommodate (even unexpected) extra guestsService is smiling and unfaltering, from fixing jeep hire to swopping your Korres toiletries for Bulgari Lows Standard rooms are fairly simple and smaller than you would expect for the money; side-facing rooms don’t get much of a viewIn summer the poolside party continues till the early hours - don't try and beat 'em, just join 'emPart of the fun is to see and be seen: if that's not a priority, try another hotel (or another island)" - Michael Cullen

Belvedere Mykonos - Main Hotel (Mykonos, Greek Islands) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"High on a hill above Mykonos town and the scenic harbor, the Belvedere makes the most of its visual environment — a look around at the cascade of blocky whitewashed buildings and the deep blue Aegean beyond and it’s immediately clear exactly where you are. The Belvedere is among the cream of the new crop of Mykonos hotels, hotels that are helping this island shake the shadow of its mid-century peak and stake a claim as a 21st-century holiday destination." - Tablet Hotels

Booked through Hotels.com. Overall the hotel is really nice. The wait staff are exceptional and the room service is excellent. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is halfway into our stay they started doing heavy construction right below our window/balcony. They were tearing up the sidewalk and jack hammering. They did not give us notice and didn’t even say anything like it was no big deal. Hardly a “5 star” hotel. The noise was extremely loud and unpleasant. Not very relaxing. One other thing I wouldn’t recommend is using their 40 euro hotel airport transfer - it’s a 5 min drive to the airport… As for the drink prices everyone is posting. Yes it’s true they charge an egregious amount for cocktails. Pro Tip - AB supermarket is a 4 min walk down the hill, they have normal priced beer and liquor there. We just bought groceries there and made our own stuff.

We had an incredible stay at the Belvedere, made even more special by the outstanding service from Marianna at the concierge desk. She went above and beyond to help me pull off a surprise birthday celebration for my brother—from arranging balloons and a cake to making sure every detail was perfect while we were out. Her warm communication and thoughtful touches truly set this hotel apart. Highly recommend both the Belvedere and Marianna’s exceptional guest service for anyone visiting Mykonos!

From the moment I arrived the reception team made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. When there was an issue with my reservation, Nikoletta stepped in right away and made sure I was accommodated and was incredibly kind and helpful throughout. The hotel itself has a really nice balance: it feels stylish and modern but still keeps that relaxed Cycladic vibe. The beds were soo comfortable. The pool area is beautiful, with amazing views over Mykonos town, and the location couldn’t be better you can walk straight into town in just a few minutes, which makes exploring super easy. Overall, between the excellent service and the atmosphere of the place, my stay felt effortless. I’d definitely come back to Belvedere on my next trip to Mykonos.

When you book a Leading Hotel of the World property you expect high standards. This isn’t it. I hate to leave a review like this but I would want to know all of this ahead of booking this hotel. |We stayed in the Hilltop suites, about 250 meters from the main hotel. The rooms are lovely and clean and large so that’s why we booked this area.l and not the main hotel. We were told that it’s an easy walk to the main hotel and easy to get between the two areas to use the pool and the restaurants. That is not the case. They do have drivers but you do have to wait around for them. They made it seem like it was so easy to get around the property. Also, they really want/prefer for the hilltop guests to use the amenities that are in the hilltop area. But the problem with that is the pool they provide is super small, no bar tender on duty and no views. If you lie on a sun bed at this small pool your view is of a giant shrub, |So the main pool area - there are minimal day beds - and its first come first serve, even for non-hotel guests. We weren’t able to sit at the pool because of this. Also it’s just got a great pool. It’s small, and everything feels on top of each other. Instead of lying at their pool I highly recommend booking beach clubs and don’t even waste your time at the pool. |Also, once you leave - if you have questions about your bill - they do not reply to your emails or calls. The operation here is truly to get your money and that’s it. |I will say Alex was such a lovely driver and Marianna was amazing as well at concierge. Christina also at the hilltop upgraded our room which was much appreciated. |But honestly. This should nkt be a LHW property and absolutely is not 5 star. It’s a 4 star hotel.

Had a truly lovely stay; celebrated our birthday at the hotel and were spoiled with amazing brownie Pie and candles over breakfast. Staff was really accommodating on arrival tracking the ferry and very friendly on check in and otherwise. Hotel is set up like a small Myconian village. Breathtaking views within the grounds and over the harbour/city - considering it is a ‘city hotel’. Breakfast buffet is extensive and good. Might you need extra’s, there is always the a la carte menu. Staff is young but very, very kind, attentive, willing and going the extra length for your pleasure. Chapeau! Hotel is 5 minute walk from town centre but also a truly tranquil area in the wild, wild bustle of Mykonos with comfy sunbeds and serving a good lunch. We will certainly be back when coming to Mykonos. Can highly recommend!

We travelled to Mykonos in mid-April with my daughter & originally booked another hotel, but after a disappointing first night, we went to check out Belvedere. We’re so glad we did. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to show us around the property and different room options without any pressure. Our stay was amazing. The room was beautifully scented, was super cosy, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in, with high-quality bedding. After a light sleep the night before, it felt like absolute bliss. Loved it. The pool area is gorgeous and perfect for relaxing, and breakfast both mornings was fresh and delicious. The only downside for us was the pricing by the pool and restaurant. It felt excessive even considering the venue, and so we probably would’ve spent more time there if it had been slightly more reasonable. Overall, Belvedere turned our trip around. Warm, stylish, and most importantly very welcoming and unpretentious. Highly recommend. Thank you again! :)

Two of us spent five lovely nights at the Belvedere May 8 to May 13, 2025. We booked a Grand Sea View room but was pleasantly surprised with an update to a one-bedroom Suite. The cost was $2,030 Euros. The price seemed to be at the upper end for rooms in early to Mid-May but was worth the expense. The room was a good size with a separate bedroom, living area, spacious bathroom, and a deck facing the sea and the gorgeous sunsets. The well-proportioned bedroom had a comfortable bed made with nice linens, side tables, and counter space and French doors that opened to the side of the building. The living area had a day bed that afforded a place to sit and chat or to get ready for the day without being on top of each other. There were two closets that allowed storage for two people and room to put luggage without it being in the way. There was a well-stocked mini-fridge and bottles of gin, vodka, and whiskey along with wine and cocktail glasses. There was an espresso machine with pods. The deck had a table and two chairs and a clear view for sunsets. The grounds were lovely with a gorgeous swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs and towels. The bar was open in the afternoon and evening to have a cocktail while lounging at the pool. We did not eat at the restaurant other than breakfast. The European breakfast which was included in the room rate had a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit and pastries along with some hot foods. The wait staff were anxious to accommodate any form of coffee requests. The staff were professional, pleasant and helpful before and during our visit. I arranged transfer to the hotel from the airport and from the hotel to the port for the ferry for $40 each way by emailing the concierge in advance. The reply was timely and helpful. The concierge staff onsite were friendly, approachable and welcoming. This was my first trip to Mykonos, and I found that many other hotel websites I visited were not as helpful as the Belvedere’s. I found every description to be accurate. I highly recommend the Belvedere for a stay in Mykonos.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel was far from what we expected. The room was supposed to be a suite, but it felt like a basement – dark, cramped, and poorly ventilated. Cleanliness was a major issue; even after we requested housekeeping, the room was never cleaned. Basic amenities like water were not provided, which is unacceptable considering the high price we paid. There were also access and road problems. Overall, a complete letdown and not worth the money.
