Belvedere Hotel Mykonos - The Leading Hotels of the World

When you book a Leading Hotel of the World property you expect high standards. This isn’t it. I hate to leave a review like this but I would want to know all of this ahead of booking this hotel. |We stayed in the Hilltop suites, about 250 meters from the main hotel. The rooms are lovely and clean and large so that’s why we booked this area.l and not the main hotel. We were told that it’s an easy walk to the main hotel and easy to get between the two areas to use the pool and the restaurants. That is not the case. They do have drivers but you do have to wait around for them. They made it seem like it was so easy to get around the property. Also, they really want/prefer for the hilltop guests to use the amenities that are in the hilltop area. But the problem with that is the pool they provide is super small, no bar tender on duty and no views. If you lie on a sun bed at this small pool your view is of a giant shrub, |So the main pool area - there are minimal day beds - and its first come first serve, even for non-hotel guests. We weren’t able to sit at the pool because of this. Also it’s just got a great pool. It’s small, and everything feels on top of each other. Instead of lying at their pool I highly recommend booking beach clubs and don’t even waste your time at the pool. |Also, once you leave - if you have questions about your bill - they do not reply to your emails or calls. The operation here is truly to get your money and that’s it. |I will say Alex was such a lovely driver and Marianna was amazing as well at concierge. Christina also at the hilltop upgraded our room which was much appreciated. |But honestly. This should nkt be a LHW property and absolutely is not 5 star. It’s a 4 star hotel.

We travelled to Mykonos in mid-April with my daughter & originally booked another hotel, but after a disappointing first night, we went to check out Belvedere. We’re so glad we did. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to show us around the property and different room options without any pressure. Our stay was amazing. The room was beautifully scented, was super cosy, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in, with high-quality bedding. After a light sleep the night before, it felt like absolute bliss. Loved it. The pool area is gorgeous and perfect for relaxing, and breakfast both mornings was fresh and delicious. The only downside for us was the pricing by the pool and restaurant. It felt excessive even considering the venue, and so we probably would’ve spent more time there if it had been slightly more reasonable. Overall, Belvedere turned our trip around. Warm, stylish, and most importantly very welcoming and unpretentious. Highly recommend. Thank you again! :)

Looking back on time we have great family memories, we have celebrated birthdays and name days, we have spent wonderful evenings with friends, and I sincerely hope that we will return back to Belvedere Hotel and our Friends every summer.

Two of us spent five lovely nights at the Belvedere May 8 to May 13, 2025. We booked a Grand Sea View room but was pleasantly surprised with an update to a one-bedroom Suite. The cost was $2,030 Euros. The price seemed to be at the upper end for rooms in early to Mid-May but was worth the expense. The room was a good size with a separate bedroom, living area, spacious bathroom, and a deck facing the sea and the gorgeous sunsets. The well-proportioned bedroom had a comfortable bed made with nice linens, side tables, and counter space and French doors that opened to the side of the building. The living area had a day bed that afforded a place to sit and chat or to get ready for the day without being on top of each other. There were two closets that allowed storage for two people and room to put luggage without it being in the way. There was a well-stocked mini-fridge and bottles of gin, vodka, and whiskey along with wine and cocktail glasses. There was an espresso machine with pods. The deck had a table and two chairs and a clear view for sunsets. The grounds were lovely with a gorgeous swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs and towels. The bar was open in the afternoon and evening to have a cocktail while lounging at the pool. We did not eat at the restaurant other than breakfast. The European breakfast which was included in the room rate had a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit and pastries along with some hot foods. The wait staff were anxious to accommodate any form of coffee requests. The staff were professional, pleasant and helpful before and during our visit. I arranged transfer to the hotel from the airport and from the hotel to the port for the ferry for $40 each way by emailing the concierge in advance. The reply was timely and helpful. The concierge staff onsite were friendly, approachable and welcoming. This was my first trip to Mykonos, and I found that many other hotel websites I visited were not as helpful as the Belvedere’s. I found every description to be accurate. I highly recommend the Belvedere for a stay in Mykonos.

I recently stayed at the Belvedere Hotel in Mykonos, and the experience was simply amazing. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made us feel immediately at home. Overall, our stay at the Belvedere Hotel was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to return. A big thank to Georgina for the excellent service and for adding another distinctive experience to our stay. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends planning to visit Mykonos!

Everything about this hotel was fabulous. The staff was very helpful, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel restaurant was great and the hotel grounds were beautiful. It was also very convenient to the Mykonos shops, sites and restaurants. I highly recommend the Belvedere Hotel.

Belvedere Hotel is located next to the old town, so Great location if you want an easy walk to and from the town. HOTEL is feeling a little tired, rated a 5 Star but it does not compare to a Four Seasons or the Andronis properties in Santorini. If you want to be close to town Great option, if you want a more upscale property many exist outside the town.
