Belvédère Strandhotel

We had a pleasure to spend one night in this beautiful hotel. Very welcoming reception. The room 102 was very spacious equipped with every comfort, bath tub, shower, very nice terrace with view on the lake and the castle. Just wanted to flag that the bed could have been better since it was a made of two separate mattresses instead of a unique big one. The restaurant is very nice, great food and high level service from the waiters. However we would have appreciated more choices from the menu instead of a fixed menu. As for the wellness center, we were overall happy. There are different/several saunas. However the hot tub is a bit small considering the size of the hotel and the number of customers which can make it a bit crowded during peaks hours.

I have been to this hotel multiple times and try to make it happen at least once a year. The sport and recreational facilities are amazing, the same goes for the scenery. The breakfast, coffee break in the afternoon and dinner are really delicious and the hotel staff is always very caring and friendly. I am a big fan and will continue coming here whenever I can. Fantastic hotel with friendly staff. We had a gorgeous view from our room, overlooking the lake and the mountains. Breakfast was fantastic and service was great as a whole. We had a wonderful bartender, Roger, at the Captain's Bar who took his time to create unique and personalised drinks for us. The hotel does not have a large lobby however, or an area to work from. But as a whole, it was a wonderful experience!

Great quiet place in a beautiful area. Good service. Rooms are clean and very simple, beautiful view from a balcony, good breakfast. Spa is great with heated pool and amazing lake view. Everything that we planned to visit was within 1-1.30 drive through scenic areas.

On arrival at reception there was confusion over the package booked for two as I was on my own. Would have appreciated clearer communication from the staff. Just after entering my room, housekeeping came in and separated the big bed into two, asking me which side I would sleep on before removing half of the towels from the bathroom. This did not feel very welcoming and frankly, it was rude. The room was spacious and nicely furnished but the mattress was not very comfortable. The service in the restaurant was very good. However, the menu was limited and the food could have been better. Breakfast was excellent. The spa and pool area was clean and very nice.

Our stay at the Belvédère Strandhotel in Spiez was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The Premium Lakefront Room had breathtaking views of Lake Thun, and the spa, especially the infinity pool and jacuzzi, was a highlight of the trip. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and the hotel made it so special, happily helping with my requests for a few surprises and adding lovely personal touches. The 4-course dinner was delicious, with fresh, local ingredients. Every part of our stay, from the welcome Prosecco to the relaxing spa treatments, was perfect. We felt spoiled and left with wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

Overall fantastic experience. We stayed here with a group of cycling clients last week and the hotel is well set up for cyclists. There's a secure bike room in the garage that is large and bright. The staff were wonderful and the dinner we had one night at the hotel was delicious.

Quintessential Swiss Lake/Mountain experience. Centrally located in small charming town within driving distance of major attractions. Beautiful view, good service, excellent spa with variety of facilities. Standard rooms are minimalist but clean and well apointed.

One of the best hotel we stayed in. Front desk staff actually asked us if we need a towel when we come in; it was raining outside. Fine dining, great staff, great view across the water.
