We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. We loved the spa, the big rooms (which are newly renovated) and big bathrooms. Our balcony gave us a spectacular view of the lake. We had coffee and cake in the afternoon and enjoyed the views from the restaurant. Breakfast was good. Overall it was a lovely experience.

I was not a guest here. I only stopped by here this afternoon to check out the wellness/spa. For non-guests, just go to the front desk of the hotel and let them know you are not a guest and would like a day pass. You will pay and the will give you a bag that's filled with a towel, robe, slippers and a smaller towel. They will also give you a key card to enter. Very good price! Also, non-guests entry starts at 1:30PM. A very pristine spa indeed! Two sauna rooms, two steam bath rooms, one warm tub and one large outdoor pool. Although I wish the tub and outdoor pool water was a little warmer, but it was still nice. Also a number of showers and lockers (have to pay). A very nice, relaxing visit to end my first part of my trip to Switzerland!

We arrived by train and, although less than a 10 miniute walk, were collected free of charge by the hotel shuttle.|The hotel impressed from the start combining traditional elegance with modern state of the art services. The views of the lake from our upgraded junior suite were stunning. The spacious room met all our needs with attractive furnishings, bottled water, fridge, comfy king sized bed and powerful shower.|Our dinners in the restaurant were exquisite being both very tasty and beautifully presented. The evening dinner service combined genuine friendliness with efficient execution. The buffet breakfast gave plenty of choice with the only missing element being some bacon to accompany the eggs.|The Belvedere was our favourite hotel on our recent two week Swiss tour and by far the best value for money.

Only stayed on night and it was fantastic. Very relaxing and beautiful. The spa and pool are top shelf. The view from the pool is stunning. Definitely on my list of places to return to.

We had one night, for my birthday at Belvedere. We arrived at 15:30, exactly on check in, to take advantage of the lake view, harbour walk and spa area. |Room: was lovely, 107, with a big terrace and lovely lake view. I think the biggest terrace the hotel has. Large room with very comfortable bed- 2 singles put together. Good furnishing and great bathroom with twin sink and rain shower. Problems were that the bedside light did not work and the fan in the bathroom did not work- reported the next morning as we left as we only discovered these late at night.||Spa: has a different choice of saunas, one in a barrel shape on the lawn with view of the lake. The main spa area is "naked" but that was OK. Disappointed to see a small child ( probably still in nappies) in the whirlpool, squealing with delight after 5pm. We went to relax and not to hear children. Absolutely no hotel supervision in the spa area. We have been to others and a staff member has explained all the facilities and what order to use them in. This has nobody.||Dinner: was lovely- very nouveau cuisine, beautifully presented, but for example, for the scallop dish it was literally "one scallop"!! but with a 4 course meal we didn't need more food. Good choice of open wine as we did not want a whole bottle. It was my birthday so the waitress told me that I had been given the golden cutlery instead of silver...but no candle or cake..I was very surprised. First time ever we have stayed somewhere and nothing extra was done for my special day.||Breakfast-rather disappointing. Fruit juices came straight out of the bottles they are bought in- no fresh orange juice, for example. None of the heaters were working, and when we complained we were told they had problems with them... but all of them!! So cold porridge, sausages, rosti and uncooked tomatoes...not what we expected from breakfast. We told reception when we checked out and sha offered us a free cocktail, but no use to us as we were checking out!||I would recommend the hotel to others...just not giving 5 stars because of these issues we had. I attach plenty of photos for you to see.

Pros: View from balcony is stunning. Lovely and Helpful front desk. Nice spa facilities and outdoor heated pool. Have I mentioned the view is absolutely stunning. Cons: Location is a bit inconvenient if you have activities to do across the area.

I had very unpleasant experience in this hotel1) too far away from train station, no pick up or drop off service, do NOT choose if you come to Spiez by train with luggage 2) there is NO interior lock, makes me feel feeling unsafe, and the staff did not feel sorry at all about the complain3) there is no door for shower room, the water just flood to the whole washroomWhile it has air conditioners, beautiful view in breakfast area and new facilities, the attitude of some staff is quite cold and not that willing to offer help. I will not choose this hotel any more.

Yelp
One of the best hotel we stayed in. Front desk staff actually asked us if we need a towel when we come in; it was raining outside. Fine dining, great staff, great view across the water.
