Bem Bom on Corrine

Bem Bom on Corrine is a small place with a relaxed atmosphere. It sports a Portuguese background but very little of the menu reflects authentic cuisine from this country. I had the fish ‘n chips. It was pretty greasy. The appetizer was excellent though and the service was kind and efficient. Parking is ample and there’s a pretty large patio section that’s enclosed but it does overlook a commercial, high-trafficked road. We may try this again because the staff is so friendly but the first visit was far from satisfying.

My and my boyfriend stumbled upon this restaurant after an event at a local record store and could not have enjoyed the experience more. The ambiance, food, staff, location, everything… We asked for the waitresses recommendation and ordered the truffle mushroom quesadillas, the lamb burger, and truffle fries. We even invited some friends nearby and encouraged them to visit and are and drank 1906 while we were there and everyone was so so happy they gave it a shot! Each of the menu items were incredible, you can truly taste each bite full of flavor and love for the food from the chefs cooking. This is a family owned business which we absolutely loved, the entire staff was a pleasure to be around! We will DEFINITELY be coming back very soon!

I have visited this place twice now and it has become that place you refer to when you want to go to a nice, laid back place with good food. They offer different options of meats and sauces so you don’t end up eating the same kind of bowl or the same tacos you eat everywhere else. Also, in my opinion, their food doesn’t feel greasy nor too seasoned compared to some other places so it was a good option to take my mother there to eat. This is a lovely restaurant that makes you feel at home and their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, too.

First time there. The ambiance was pretty chill and the restaurantwas clean, even the bathroom was very clean. The server was very good, she made sure we had plenty of water and that we get exactly what we ordered. Ex. For the delicious lamb hamburger, I ordered the sauces on the side, since I can not eat too spicy. And she brought it the way I asked and with a big smile! 😊 💢 By the way that hamburger was spectacular! The flavor was so good! And it was cooked perfectly! I love the calamary and the fries too. Will come back! Defenitively 💯 recomended!

We were excited to try this restaurant but it wound up being pretty meh. The service was great and they have a nice outdoor seating area, but the food was pretty forgettable. One of my friends ordered the mango painted fish tacos, which had a little heat and no other flavor. I love calamari - and the waitress said that their calamari was really popular - so that's what I ordered. It was so heavily breaded (it made me think of over-cooked corndog breading - we're talking *heavy* breading) that we couldn't taste the actual calamari at all. There was a glaze on it that was overpoweringly sweet, so basically it was a hard, dry, bread crunch and a sweet taste. (The picture that looks like crunchy onion rings is the calamari.) They were out of their dessert tarts that evening, which was another bummer. One positive note: I can totally recommend the Bomb fries! They were absolutely delicious. The reviews of this place are - for the most part - really high, so we definitely were expecting good food. Maybe a new cook was filling in that night, or something? I don't know. Anyway, I can't say that I'll be recommending this place to anyone. Nice ambiance, nice service, disappointing food.

The food here is exquisite (as to be expected)! Even better than their food truck. The Rock Shrimp tacos and Bomb fries have a spicy kicl (without lingering heat) and the dessert Nata (custard) was the perfect consistency and not to sweet. Can't wait to come back!

Mixed experience. Service was friendly and helpful. They have limited seating but during lunch time there were plenty of open seats. The food delivery to our table was extremely slow and took almost 1.5 hour to get done with lunch. The peri Chicken was not as delicious as others we have had. The chicken lacked flavor inside and was over cooked. The tacos were delicious. Overall, they are okay and given our experience we give it 3 stars.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. The decor at this restaurant is also beautiful. Staff was friendly. We tried guacamole and chicken quesadillas - we were not disappointed. Will be back to try more items from the menu. 👍

The Food Network seems to love Orlando, and over the past few years quite a few of our favorite restaurants have gotten plenty of screen time. Bem Bom made an appearance on "Flavors of Florida. Bem Bom is a portuguese food truck owned Chef Chico who has also opened a restaurant on Corrine st. The lamb burger that was featured is so delicious !! It was even voted burger of the year by the Orlando Sentinel. the bomb fries paired perfectly with the burger . The lemonade is also made in house. This place is definitely worth checking out! The ambiance is chill they have both inside and outside seating & the service was quick and friendly.

Bem Bom has a unique menu of Mexican and Portuguese fusion cuisine. They also have a full bar and a very nice variety of alcoholic beverage options. Ordered the red sangria pitcher, the bang bang shrimp (VERY spicy), the Bom fries and the Beef a Portuguese Prego sandwich. I was actually a bit disappointed with the Bom fries and their lack of flavor but everything else was very flavorful and delicious. The red sangria was TOP TIER. Most sangrias are so sweet and overpowered by juice, but the wine flavor was exceptional without being too sweet. The only items preventing me from giving 5 stars is number one the location. The entrance to get in is pretty tight and there is very little parking. You can find street parking, but during peak times this can be a challenge and you better be good at parallel. This location has a fairly small and tightly packed interior, so we sat out on the patio which was much more spacious and enjoyable. Second would be the bathroom. I was pretty disappointed by the cleanliness and overall décor or lack of thought in the design. I personally think a nice bathroom can push a place from good to great.

Wonderful spot with indoor / outdoor seating. Flavors are well established and combined to make deliah offerings off their regular and brunch menus. Would come again and will recommend to friends.

Great little hidden gem! A group of us went for brunch and it was lovely! It was quite hot inside, not sure if they were having issues with the AC but otherwise our experience was great. I went to Portugal in April so I was very happy that Bem Bom reminded me of my time there. I got a breakfast skillet type meal (I don't remember the name) which consisted of eggs, cheese, chorico and maybe some sort of veggies. It also came with a biscuit that was so yummy! I could have eaten three biscuits! they offer unlimited mimosas for brunch so most of our table partook in that special. They brought out bottles and kept replacing the empties which was so much nicer than having to wait for refills. Definitely a nice little spot for brunch that is undiscovered!

I reviewed this place a long time ago. At the time I got some daily special risotto dish and wasn't a fan. But I've returned a few times since then, and I've changed my mind about this place. I must have just ordered the wrong thing the first time. I've now been able to try the Piri Piri chicken, their nachos, rock shrimp tacos, and bread service. I enjoyed the Piri Piri chicken. It's a little spicy and paired well with a fresh salad and crispy French fries. One thing I think would make them even better if the chicken was on the bone like chicken thigh or even breast. They now come more like chicken strips, and while they taste good, I think they'd be so much better if grilled on the bone. The nachos are great. They give you a generous portion, and they are drizzled with queso and hot sauce. You can add chicken or carnitas to them too. The shrimp tacos are really fresh, but a little too spicy for me. My mouth was on fire after the first taco. Surprisingly the bread service is really good. Fresh, warm baked bread with a few cheeses and spreads. And the owners and servers are all very kind and friendly.

Five stars for my husband and my new favorite place to eat! Lucky for him, my husband has actually travelled to Portugal and voiced how he felt as if he was back there! We have eaten here twice so far and pleased each time. Last night the lovely Lauren and Myles took care of us. Very friendly individuals. Must order the bang bang shrimp and lamb burger. I am drooling as I think about it. However, my husband and I plan to skip the chicken sandwich next time. I am interested in tasting the quesadillas next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Updating review because the business paid to have my previous review removed. I had this restaurant rated four stars. I submitted another review that was two stars because of a horrible experience where the server lied to us and overcharged us. After the old owner passed away this place has gone down in quality. Stay away. I have re-added the photo of my receipt that shows that the server did not remove the items that she said she did. Another user, Adam S has also left a review indicating the same, as he was part of the same party and had the same exact thing happen to him. If you try to cheat the system by paying to remove this review I will re-post my review to Google, Facebook, instagram and I will make a point to do so continually. I am petty like that . Shouldn't have lied to your customers.

Bem Bom is one of the most underrated spots in Orlando! Every time I go, the service is extremely friendly and the food is delicious. We started with the Bomb Fries, which are a bed of fries with a pile of parmesean, Thai basil, and Serrano peps on top. Please get them when you go. For my main, I got the Chicken and Poblano Quesadilla. It came with a lime crema, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The tortilla was so crisp! I've had a few of the other quesadillas during past visits and they never disappoint. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bem Bom is a great lunch or dinner spot for any occasion!

Bem Bom has been on our radar for a while, but this part of town is usually a PITA for us to get to. We were invoking our inner Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and going from Thrift Shop to Thrift Shop and since this was right across the street from where we were, we decided to give it a try and see if the ceiling could hold us. It was hard to decide what to get until I read the description of their Award Winning Lamb Burger. It was a bit pricey and didn't even come with a side, but it was too enticing to pass up. It was absolutely delicious, even though it was cooked over the medium at which they recommended it. I also order the Bomb Fries which were good, but there was nothing for the Thai chilis and basil to stick too, so they kinda all fell to the bottom. The truffle oil added a bit of flavor, but the description was more flavorful than the actual fries. Maybe an aioli so the peppers and basil had some grip? The Chicken Sandwich was pretty good (I got to finish Mrs. S's meal which I do quite often). She got the hot Peri Peri sauce on the side and I loved it and ended up dipping the fries in it. Something with that sauce is probably on my radar for next time. If you find the East End Market to be too crowded, this is right next door to that (and also next to the Salty Donut), so stop in for lunch/dinner/drinks etc. There's a nice outdoor patio, indoor seating, and plenty of food!

We LOVE to pop over to Bem Bom and sit outside and chill after a long day. They have one of our favorite wines, Fado, which is hard to find and when you pair that with the spicy shrimp appetizer and chips and salsa/guacamole, (yes, we get them all) it pure bliss! The Portuguese fusion food is so full of flavors. Every dish has layers of flavor. Try everything, no joke. The owner is always around and the servers feel like family. They now have breakfasts and I can't wait to try that!

Definitely a vibe. The patio features music and the indoor area is cool and cozy. It's a bit on the loud side due to the live music so if you are looking for convo and calm, your best bet is to sit inside. Now that I've covered atmosphere, let's talk food. Really solid meal. My friend and I shared the guac which was made perfectly suited to my tastebuds. Very fresh with great texture. Good portion to price ratio as well. Perfect for sharing. As for the main, I did shrimp quesadillas and my bud did tostadas. I inhaled the quesadillas so safe to say they were good. The shrimp were cooked nicely and I really loved the freshness of the pico addition. And those tostadas were beautifully served and mega tasty according to my friend. Good and friendly service but the booths and tables weren't the cleanest I've ever sat in. I had to brush some crumbs and bits of food from the booth before sitting. Not a deal breaker but probably something I'd mention next time. And yes there will definitely be a next time because the food was so worth it! Last note- parking is tricky. Small lot that is likely going to be packed. Parking available on neighboring streets.

Four stars for great food and lots of flavor profiles. Each bite you could taste what the menu described it as. The service was impeccable she made suggestions, she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The inside is quite small but it's very nice. The only reason for four stars was because the AC was not working and it was sooooooo hot! I would go back in a minute try new things. I got the lamb burger as it's so popular but it was jam packed with flavors. Go and try new things.

I almost feel petty leaving this review, but my lunch party all left really unhappy because we felt nickel-and-dimed. We brought a group of 6 of us in, ordered appetizers, salads, and entrees. Five of us got Coke Zero to drink. Drinks came, and I finished mine, and then I finished my water, and no refill came. When I finally flagged down the server and asked, she explain that they ran out of Coke Zero and that she could give us another soda or tea. So I asked for unsweet tea. Imagine our surprise when all of us were charge $3 for Coke Zero, and another $3 for unsweet tea. I asked the server if this was a mistake, and she told me that's how they do it. She offered to remove it, but my check was run with the charge anyway. The food was good. We definitely would've gone back - for lunches or happy hour. But it just seemed like such a poor way to end our experience - by ripping us off when they ran out of supplies.

This has been on our must try list for quite some time. Small in size but big in taste. We came on a Sunday and the menu was more than just brunch. Looking forward to returning again to try more menu items.

The single most devastating moment of my life was when my Bem Bom waitress informed me codfish is permanently off the menu. I'm going to still go for the ambience, queso, chicken, bread service, and drinks, but I want to make it clear that I'd risk slipping a disc to do a cartwheel if I heard that codfish was coming back.

I hadn't been to Bem Bom since they first opened, so my husband and I decided to give them another try over the weekend since we had been hearing such great things. We enjoyed a relaxing early dinner on their patio right on Corrine Drive. They have a QR code menu for you to scan when you sit down, and the service was fabulous with very attentive staff. Since we had been out in the sun for a good portion of the day, we decided to stick with water so we could hydrate up, but they have a nice selection of beer and wine to choose from as well. We started with the Bang Bang shrimp on the specials menu, which were lightly breaded shrimp tossed in their signature spicy sauce -- very tasty! It was a smaller serving size, but we didn't mind since we we wanted to try a lot of other things on the menu. We, of course, had to get their award winning lamb burger which definitely lived up to the hype! The served recommended it cooked to a medium temperature and it was perfection. We added as side of the Bomb fries as well which are topped with truffle parmesan and spicy chili peppers. The fries could have been a little heavier on the toppings. I only came across 3 tiny peppers, and I like a lot of spice, haha. Last, we ordered the carnitas bowl with rice and beans and a variety of additional toppings. It was a huge portion with a lot great flavors, however the pork was a bit dry. My husband took the majority of it home and enjoyed the leftovers the next day. I'm definitely excited to return for that lamb burger very soon!

This is a small but cute restaurant. The staff is great and service excellent. Our party ordered the bread service which was good but a little more of the bread and a slightly less serving of the sauces would have been better. The mushroom quesadillas were beyond good and the lamb burger tasty and filling. The tacos were delicious and the girls as well as the adults totally enjoyed the desert of the pastel de nada.

Cute outdoor patio. Spiked lemonade was very delicious. Octopus was tasty as well. Very friendly staff.

3.5 stars Some of the stuff we wanted they didn't have (they were out of one or more of the beers that we wanted, and they only had one of their two salsas available). The patio atmosphere was really nice. My wife loved the lamb burger; I thought it was fine. We thought their queso with poblano pepper was very bland...despite it being plentiful given the reasonable price, I would not order that again unless they start cooking the cheese with more spices added into it.

Smaller location on Corrine that has a very cute interior design and some outdoor seating. We did opt to sit inside incase of poor weather and were very comfortable. We started with the bread service which was good, but felt like there were more sauces then bread. We also ordered the quesadillas for the table to share and the truffled mushroom one were a big hit. We had 2 folks change their dinner orders to get more of those instead of the other items they were thinking about. I ordered the Lamb burger and had apple ginger bbq sauce put on the side. It ended up all on the sandwich since it was so delicious (next time on the sandwich and some on the side). It was a large burger so very filling! The kids shared the carnitas tacos and they said they were good. Make sure to try the pastel de nata - really, really good and you'll regret not trying them!!

Have been to Bem Bom multiple times to do pick up. Usually stick to the Lamb Burger which is consistently delicious. I decided to change it up by eating there and going with the Carnitas tacos. My dining partner chose the other burger. The pork in the tacos tasted dry and tough to chew. While very flavorful, it tasted like maybe the meat had been either overcooked or a day too old. I hate to send stuff back unless completely necessary and it did taste good so I finished my meal. I tasted the burger and that was very good! I'll stick to my old fav lamb burgers next visit. The old fashioneds we ordered were strong, but lacked much craft. Not great, not bad.

Nice place with a chill vibe right on Corrine. I am not familiar with Portuguese foods but gave it a try. They do have option and can make adjustments for the less adventurous diners as well. We tried the bread service which was great but could have used just a little more bread. So good it was gone to quickly. We moved on to the Quesadillas and 3101 Burger. Tasty and juicy so they were well prepared and seasoned as expected. The big surprise was the Pastel De Nata which were delicious. They will definitely be something I get again on my next visit. I notice they have a Sunday Brunch from 11-3 that looked good as well. I believe my next visit will be to try that.

We've been to Bem Bem probably a dozen times now and we LOVE it. The chips & queso and a chilled glass of the Portada red wine are our go-to when dining outdoors on their patio (which is our favorite). After visiting Portugal with family, we began searching for a local Portugese restaurant, and found Bem Bem. From the bacalau to the pastel de nata, they have nailed the flavors of these traditional foods. Big kudos to the team. They have something for everyone, whether you like Mexican or Portguese. Once wish is that there were other variations/options of the main cod dish. For example, I remember a dish in Lisbon with shredded potatoes, diced onions and pieces of bacalau, and strips of red peppers. It was amazing! Maybe one day...haha.

The Burger is a simple combination of a few items. Yet it blows my mind how many places ruin it. Bem Bom take the burger to whole new level. The Lamb Burger is an experience. It's hard to place what makes it my favorite burger. Here's the rundown: Fresh ground in house ground grass fed lamb, served with feta compote with pico de gallo, apple ginger bbq sauce, lemon mustard, piri piri. It's smooth and savory. The guac slaps! Made the way guac should be. Not some purée out of a bag. The place is small and intimate. Stephanie was great! Kept the beer cold and flowing.

Bem Bom is my favorite spot to eat around Audubon Park. Their lamb burger is *chefs kiss* and the Bowls of Good Goodness are sauced to perfection. The servers are also really friendly and quick to make sure you have everything you need. It's also a great spot on a nice night, nothing beats sitting out on the patio with the string lights and some live music.

I would like to give 3.5 stars food was good but I wouldn't say it was Amazing I feel like everything was average. Price wants too bad. I mean I don't really have much to complain about lt just didn't have the flavor I expected. Bread service Bread was good I LOVED the goat cheese with the salsa macha. Lamb burger Lamb burger was seasoned good but if you don't like lamb then you might not like it , i probably would love to try a beef burger here since the lamb was actually seasoned good. Bem bom nachos Nachos was good but I'm on a search for the best nachos in Orlando and haven't found them yet , I don't really have a complaint I probably would get this again, I just have to think about it. Classico style (peri peri) Chicken was average could've been better Enjoyed the salad probably should've asked for more dressing and probably no onions lol Overall I guess I did enjoy the food for a onetime visit. If I decide to go back I would probably get the bread service and ask for more goat cheese with salsa macha and I'd probably give the nachos another shot and I would love to try a Beef burger.

This place is excellent. Well worth the price. This was the best octopus I have ever had in a restaurant and I've been to Hawaii, have eats ton of seafood, practically have tried all sorts of octopus and squid recipes as I have loved it since childhood... well this is absolutely the best ever from flavor to texture, smells, presentation... just wow!!! The Bem Bom octopus had a fantastic flavor, the seasoning enhanced it but wasn't overly done, it was perfectly cooked and easy to chew (can't tell you how many times people miss that.) The olive oil sauce was really nice (we added a little pepper to the sauce to dip the bread into, which is a fantastic farmhouse like roll with toasty outside and soft inside. Dip it in the olive oil sauce (trust me there.) It also came with roasted potatoes. It doesn't look like a lot of food at first, but since octopus is a dense food, you'll fill up. So do try it sometime... they also have a smokey salmon, which my hubby tried last time he was there without me as their octopus dish was sold out then, and he loved it very much. Take a look at their menu for the other options, as I was looking forward to the octopus so had made my decision before we even walked inside, lol. The wait staff is excellent! Kept checking on us, asked us how everything is, smiled, extremely friendly and very nice.The owners are very nice as well, we met them when we came in and they even asked us how our meal was, so this is a Mom & Pop business and as far as I'm concerned definitely a place worth supporting and getting great meals at. The ambiance is lovely, a Spanish-Moroccan feel, as the food is themed off of the cuisine found in Spain. (And I know how good that food is, as my family hails from that region, so I'm very ecstatic that my husband found such a great place to eat!) We will be back... again... and again.

My third trip and they've all been excellent! Tonight I had the Chef's Special Teak Sandwich: Ribeye marinated in Garlic and Truffle, then cooked, topped with more garlic and truffle, fried egg, and put on a Portuguese bun. Truffle fries on the side. Spectacular taste! Among my family, we've had a total of 10 meals here and every single one has been worthy of five stars. I'm not sure how they're so consistently so good!

Phone clearly did not eat first for the lamb burger!!! Lamb burger was sensational. This portugués flared menu is extremely unique and delicious. Very great flavors and light foods with perfect portions. My party and I were all extremely satisfied with our orders and cannot wait to come back! 10/10 another hidden gym! Cool happy hour deals, too.

We had an excellent time. We made a reservation in advance to get a table for 6 on the patio. We had great service and all of our food was delicious. We enjoyed the live music... but if I'm being 100% honest, they should move that out of the already small eating area into the little garden they have or something. It takes up valuable real estate and if you happen to be 10' away... WOW IS IT LOUD. I'm not even a grumpy old grandpa! LOL The elote was tasty. The bread plate was excellent. I enjoyed my BBK ribs. My wife enjoyed her lamb burger. Our guests all liked their food. If you ever want a TON of french fries, just get fries with anything. Three of us did and we shared (with leftovers) with everyone at the table. A very pleasurable first visit.

I've been to Bem Bom on Corrine many times and always have a wonderful meal and lovely service, all in a unique and beautiful environment. The nachos are fabulous to start, then I can't help but get the spicy shrimp tacos (can never remember the name, but they are so good!) Cocktails are always cold and delicious or try the sangria, which is delicious. I've sat inside many times (it's charming and colorful, warm and inviting), but the last few times I've enjoyed sitting under their covered patio, with a fun but sheltered view of Corrine Drive - it's great for people watching. 10/10

Came in for lunch, we were seated promptly and the service throughout the meal was outstanding. Plenty of outdoor seating and enough tables in doors to beat the heat. We ordered the bread service to start - two loaves of hot fresh bread with Gorgonzola covered in orange marmalade and goat cheese covered in pepper spread that had just the right amount of kick. We had the carnitas tacos with avocado crema and the piri piri chicken sandwich - DELICIOUS! We both said that we'll be ordering the exact same thing next time...but I'd like to try the shaved rib eye (they were out of that during the lunch hour). Thank you Bem Bom for an excellent meal!

Bem Bom is officially the best restaurant in Orlando! My wife and I had some time to kill while we were in the nearby area. We came across this restaurant in the Audubon area and decided to give it a try after reading awesome reviews. Once we got there we sat at the bar from the outside facing in and it was a cool atmosphere. I travelled to Portugal a few years back and got the vibe of being back in Europe based on the way the restaurant was decorated. The lamb burger is fire and the bang bang shrimp was top notch. There's plenty more we want to try when we return for a future visit. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. By the looks of it, all staff members appeared to be tight knit and like a family, which is very much appreciated. Glad to have come across this place. This may have been our first time but not our last.

I came by to support our local businesses and to support my belly wanting delicious food. This is going to take a while, btw. I first had piri-piri chicken in Jacksonville of all places, and not at an African restaurant but at a pizza place (of all places), that for some unknown reason was making piri-piri chicken pizza. The owners were not African, neither had been to Africa, so there is no explanation as to why this dish is on the pizza menu. I love spicy stuff, so piri-piri became a thing for me. Later on, a South African restaurant opened north of Ft. Lauderdale and their staple was piri-piri chicken. I had it, it was really good, not better than piri-piri chicken pizza. But then, when I was praising this dish as a South African dish, I learned that it is the national dish of Mozambique. Wtf?! OK, so they eat it in South Africa but it is from Mozambique. Got it. So... there is no luck of finding an original Mozambique style piri-piri in Orlando, but here is a twist. While I was visiting a Portuguese friend in Boston, MA, he was telling me about the West African community there, him being from the Azores or Cape Verde (can't remember) but of Portuguese nationality. So, six months later, I have a puzzle in front of me: piri-piri chicken, Orlando, West Africa, Mozambique, and Portugal, and for some reason I thought "well, if Portuguese people colonized Mozambique, maybe they have piri-piri chicken". And that's how I ended up in Bem Bom. Because of the pandemic, I ordered over the phone. My order was ready when I got there but unfortunately NO utensils and NO extra piri-piri for dipping (it needs sauce!!!). The chicken otherwise is too dry, and the burnt flavors come in too strong. But even these setbacks, it was freaking good. I am not ordering more take-out but I will sit down and enjoy a proper meal when the pandemic is over.

We wanted to express our gratitude to Bem Bom restaurant, their staff, and especially AJ, Co-Owner and Manager, for hosting my special birthday party. They allowed us to reserve outdoor patio to host a party of 25+ guests. AJ is a great collaborator and planner, the appetizers and food were unique, met and exceeded our expectations. All the arrangements were done with ease, through a great communication, the party was a total success. Special thanks to Stephanie and Nelson for making the night care-free and fun for every guest, even the little ones. We love being a part of your growth, appreciate your professionalism, and definitely will be back again!

The nachos were AMAZING!!!!! Service was good. The only note I have is it was pretty hot inside the restaurant. Overall would go back for the food!

This place is amazing! Came here on a whim, trying to meet a friend for dinner while finding a new place. Opened Yelp and came across this place. I am glad I did! Service was great and the food was amazing! Ordered chips and salsa for appetizer, Passion fruit soda, Burger for dinner and their custard dessert was out of this world. This place is in the middle of Corrine but for the longest I thought it was a bar. Glad we came here. I'll definitely be back.

I had kept this place bookmarked in my collection for the longest time. Finally, I decided to give it a try. When it comes to Portuguese dishes, there are two that really stick out in my memory as something you must try. The first is the pastel de nata, or the Portuguese egg tart. And the second is the piri piri chicken. I came hungry, so I decided to try the piri piri chicken another time. Instead, I got the carne asada while my mother got the Bem Bom octopus. Usually, the carne asada comes with rice and black beans, but they give you the option to switch them out with fries and a fried egg, which I was really happy to see since I'm not a fan of black beans. The Bem Bom octopus came with a side of roasted potatoes, sauteed vegetables, and a roll of bread served with butter. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with our meal and still had room to try some desserts. For me, the Portuguese egg tart was kind of disappointing in that it wasn't as rich, flavorful and creamy as the ones we've had when we visited Lisbon. The Portuguese egg tart had a nice rustic presentation. The crust was light, flaky, and thin. But the filling had more of a bland, doughy, firm consistency as opposed to the custardy, eggy, creamy texture and taste that I was looking for. Nonetheless, I felt that the overall experience was nice and will come back to try some of the other dishes that they have to offer in the future.

First let's talk about those PEI mussels. It was their special of the night, so not a normal menu staple. They are some of the best mussels I have ever had. The broth they were in tasted like it had been cooking for hours, beautiful tomato base with chunks of fresh garlic, bay leaf, basil, and even a bit of spiciness. It was served with Portuguese bread (think of a cross between crispy French bread and sourdough) that, when dipped in the broth, soaked up all the flavor and made for a delicious bite. The broth even had pieces of chorizo sausage, which added a nice meatiness and contributed to the spicy aspect. For my main meal I chose the lamb burger. Be warned: it does not come with any sides. But after eating the mussels as an app, and seeing how large and packed full the burger was, I knew I didn't need a side, and I was right. The burger was beautifully seasoned and beautifully cooked(that nice medium redness). There was an apple ginger bbq sauce that added a touch of sweetness, and a huge heap of feta cheese and pico de gallo that offset the sweetness with a nice creaminess and saltiness. Add in some heat from the piri piri and you got yourself a true flavor bomb. It was served on pretzel bun, which was the perfect medium to soak up all the flavors. Boy was it delicious but super messy. My dad ordered the fish tacos, and while I appreciated how packed full they were and the brightness and freshness they delivered, I was still dreaming of those mussels and lamb burger after one bite and knew I didn't miss out by not ordering them for myself. They also have a great selection of beers and wines, a good majority from Spain or Portugal to reflect the theme of the restaurant. Service was incredibly slow, and the food took a while, but if you're ok with relaxing and have great company to talk to, the food is definitely worth the wait.

Service was amazing. Food was great. Outdoor & Indoor seating was a plus. Our waiter was super nice! And our food was delicious. Just a heads up, the food does take a little awhile but it's definitely worth it. The option of indoor and outdoor seating is great so you can enjoy a good FL day. Also, they do offer brunch items on the weekend as well as lunch being available all day. I'll definitely be going back. Yum!

Amazing food, great service, cute atmosphere! Finally got to try this place since it's around the corner from my place and we tried going a few times but they were closed a few days in a row during working hours for some reason. But I'm glad we were able to catch them. Will be coming back for sure!

Came in for brunch with some a group of 8 of us! Heard amazing things so I definitely wanted to give it a try. We first started with the bang bang shrimp which I definitely enjoyed. Next, we got the guacamole and it was definitely fresh! We did the unlimited mimosas and the server was really good about refilling our drinks for us. She even gave us a bottle at the end of the brunch to continue drinking with. For our entree, we tried the piri piri chicken and I thought it was decent, I thought the flavor was lacking a bit and could have been spicier especially with it being piri piri. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and definitely will come back to try again!

I love this place. Great wine. Great food. Good kids menu. Try the lamb burger or the steak bowl. You can't go wrong here. We come offer and for a good reason. Great service price and taste.

I was in Orlando for a week and stopped by this restaurant to meet up with my friends. The food exceeded my expectation. The restaurant was a little small but had both outdoor and indoor seating and the staff were all nice and friendly. We got the lamb burger, rockin tacos and mango painted tacos and they were all very delicious and flavorful. The bomb fries were very delicious as well. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to a friend if they're ever in Orlando.

Cute little restaurant. My French onion soup was amazing!! The map. Burger was just ok. It was supposed to be served medium but it seemed a bit dry to be medium. It had a good Mediterranean flavor though. My husband had the filet mignon special. Meat was very tender but it could have used more flavor. Our friend said the flank steak was great. We didn't try it. All in all it was a good spot to try.

We ended up going to Bem Bom to celebrate my friend's birthday and we're able to get a reservation outdoors in a timely manner. When we got there, our table was ready and we immediately felt right at home. The outdoor area is very spacious and there was live music! My friends and I did the "f*ck that's delicious" style of ordering and just ordered almost everything from the menu. The first thing we had was the bite sized Bacalao which was perfect! I usually don't do fish, but this was a perfect start to our meal. Then, we got the octopus and wow! So flavorful and just cooked to perfection. We had chips and salsa and bread and butter in between meals and all of it was just done so well. Then came my two favorite dishes the carnitas bowl and my absolute favorite the peri peri chicken. The carnitas were perfectly cooked and seasoned with rice, beans, and tortillas. The peri peri chicken was just out of this world with fries and a delicious salad. I am still dreaming about that chicken. They only have a beer and wine menu, but take advantage of their sangria pitchers! The sangria is great and came in a good sized bottle. Beers were also great and well priced. I want to say the staff is great! The restaurant closed when we were there and they let us enjoy our night and keep ordering sangrias even after the restaurant closed. Our waiter did an excellent job and was so kind and patient. Overall, perfect experience! I can't recommend bem bom enough!

Unique menu with many great options that are very well done the burgers, especially fantastic. we like the bar as well cozy with friendly bartenders and many times the owner is close by and great to talk with. We will certainly be back again.

We visited this restaurant for the Portuguese cuisine. Cons: very limited parking, maybe 6-8 parking spots In front of the restaurant. On the inside, small little quaint restaurant with very limited seating. We ordered little bacalhau cakes on the appetizers and we were told we ordered the very last one (thankfully!). Saturday during lunch, they were going to run out of the most popular Portuguese appetizer. Then we ordered four dishes, we waited around 45 to an hour for our food to come out. No explanation, no comments, no service to see if we wanted another Guarana soda. Just waited...then waited... and then finally they came by to say our food was getting plated, no apology. Just said the bacalhau dish takes a while to cook. I feel like they should have mentioned that when we ordered it, or while we were there waiting for an HoUR. The Piri-Pitt chicken was awful, extremely dry. Overcooked. And the food enchilada was bland, just ok. Pro: the bacalhau and octopus special was very good. The bread they serve was soft and delicious, but no oil or butter served with it.

This is a cozy and casual spot in Winter Park that I found for having "the best burger." So we got just that, it is a lamb burger and only the burger - it does not come with a side. We ordered a side of fries to share and they were just okay. The burger though - so damn good! Had some flare of spice and a hint of sweetness, do I think a side should come with it for the price? Yes. Will we be back? Not sure, we wanted to try a new place and the lure of the best burger brought us here... but being half an hour away from us I don't think there was enough that piqued our interest to visit again.
