The hotel has currently a 3,9* rating which is totally underrated in my opinion. Could easily have a 4,6* rating especially when you compare it with other accommodations in Thailand. The room room was clean, big and nice (the furniture might not be up for to date). The staff was really friendly and helpful. The poolside is very nice and chill. The price was way better than in most other places. Well, the location might not be ideal because it’s not in the very center but it’s in a peaceful area and you got everything around that you need.

The place is great but the location is really hide, I want use the pool in the morning before to check out but they were cleaning it until 11am so I just enjoyed for 30 minutes… check out is at 12pm. They offer coffee and cookies free and I had the breakfast alone… not sure if more tourists stayed in the place… I shared bathroom but I only used it, I like the glass water. No aircon but the fan is close to the bed, which makes it comfortable.

We are walkers so having to walk 20 minutes to be in the center of town was not a problem. The room was small but comfortable. It said it had a refrigerator but it didn’t. They could have put an electric kettle in the room. A big plus though for having water in glass bottles! The setting is very nice with a swimming pool!

We stayed for 4 nights, and the experience was underwhelming. The rooms are small and lack basic amenities like a fridge, microwave, or wardrobe. Couldn’t really comment much on the service as staffs didn’t even say “Hi”to us! We were disappointed with the bedding—only one very thin pillow per person, and when we requested extras, we were given just one more. The blanket was also too thin for winter weather during the Christmas break—consider bringing your own. The bathroom was poorly designed and extremely small. When showering, water would splash everywhere, including onto the toilet next to the shower. A simple shower curtain could make a big difference and at least keep the toilet paper dry. Overall, not a comfortable stay

I arrived from Chiang Mai tired and stressed. So it was nice to find the Ben Guesthouse offered a nice respite with good amenities. I appreciated the hot water pressure and cleanliness of my room. There are also some great restaurants and cafes close by.

Lovely rooms and swimming pool, and about a 20-minute walk from the centre, so you'll either need to do the walk or get a grab (readily available). Breakfast and free coffee were also great. The only issue is the noise both in the morning and daytime (if you're relaxing by the pool). We were woken up at about 8am by talking from staff (?) And some neighbors are about playing on the hotel grounds in the daytime. It's not a huge issue, but after a lot of traveling and wanting to relax, it can be difficult.

This is a funny one... its one of those places with great potential but just doesn't execute it. On one hand the location is great, quiet, peaceful but you really need transport as its 25 mins walk to the main centre. The pool area is great but the pool is lined not tiled and the lining is coming away in places... there's alot of rooms here but only 4 loungers. There's no common area for people to meet/chat etc. The reception staff (maybe owner) speak near perfect English but other than check in, there was no interaction. Now the rooms... I didn't book... I was told 700thb or 750thb... I assumed the 750 would be the better option. The rooms are incredibly dark...if you don't have the door open you need to have the 1 and only super bright light on... there's no lamps..nothing. There's no fridge, so the bottled water you get is warm. There's a kettle but nowhere to plug it in... no cups and no tea or coffee. There's only 1 socket next to the bed but no bedside table. There's a TV... with zero channels!! The A/C needs servicing/re-gassing... whilst it blows it doesn't blow cold or even cool air.. the ceiling fan is better. The bathroom is very small... the shower can't match the water flow... so it doesn't get hot only warm. It's poorly designed as the shower covers the entire room with water including the trash bin. It's really odd... the fitting are nice quality its well tiled, the overall construction is good... just really simple things lacking that would transform the current rating into something much higher.

It is an amazing hotel with a great pool, at a very reasonable price. I honestly don’t understand why their grade is so low.
