Beautiful beach and a nice hike on the cliff edge. The caves were great. The hike was nice .just that it was too hot even in September first week We took the kayak on the spot. Paid 20 euors for the kayak guided tour per hour. There was a nice guide. Couple of disappointments. The water was very cold. No where in Portugal you can get into water. Don't try the food near benagli caves. It is very bad

Beautiful place! We had the funniest tour guide and it was fantastic with his jokes! We were jam-packed in our boat but that also made the experience more enjoyable! I really reccomend going their by these tourist boats from Faro. It's 15€ per person so you get your moneys worth! We also saw dolphins on the way there!

The Benagil Caves in Portugal are truly one of the most unique and beautiful places to visit. Located on the Algarve coast near the small fishing village of Benagil, these sea caves are famous for their striking natural dome and a large circular opening at the top, often called “the eye.” Early in the morning, watching the sunrise through this opening is an unforgettable experience. The light streams in and fills the cave with a golden glow, making the beach inside look magical. The caves were formed over thousands of years as the ocean waves slowly carved out the soft limestone cliffs. This natural process created the amazing shapes, patterns, and the incredibly smooth and round dome. Inside, you will find a calm little beach and sparkling blue water. The only way to reach the cave is by boat, kayak, or paddleboard, which adds to its special charm. Visiting at sunrise is perfect for enjoying peace and quiet before the crowds arrive. The Benagil Caves are a wonderful example of nature’s beauty and power, and they are a must-see for anyone coming to Portugal. It’s a place that will stay in your memory forever

One of the most iconic spots in Algarve — the Benagil sea cave. We kayaked in before and the light filtering through the hole in the ceiling was just surreal. Note: I’m not sure if kayaking into the cave is still permitted at the moment, it's amazing but if you want, need to check the latest local rules before planning

Visiting the Benagil Caves was the absolute highlight of my trip to southern Portugal—by far my favorite spot in the region. We went by kayak, which made the experience even more incredible, allowing us to glide right into the heart of the cave and admire its iconic skylight and golden rock walls up close. The sense of awe inside the cave, combined with the beauty of the surrounding coastline, made it an unforgettable adventure I’d recommend to anyone.

Did the hike along seven valleys and then the Kayak tour which takes you into many caves. Beautiful and something you will not want to miss while visiting the area. Also one of the top beaches you can visit only via Kayak.

The caves were great and we enjoyed the explanation of the different caves and why they were named the way they were. My personal favorites were Neptune’s Cave and God’s Eyes. Angelo and Hugo made sure that we were all safe as we sped through the water and had a good time. They have a dry storage on the boat that we happily took advantage of. The trip was a lot of fun and we were able to enjoy a mostly sunny day on the water. A touristy thing worth doing. Enjoy!

What a great place stunning views . If you don’t want a 2hrs boat ride go straight to the caves beach and hire a canoe for a half hours paddle to the caves.
