We had an excellent meal. Discovered this place through IG and we weren't sure what to expect. The food was fresh with incredible creative flavors. Farm to table done very well. A little on the pricey side, but we found it well worth it.

Had an incredible dining experience at Benaiahs! From the moment we sat down, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully curated. The cocktails alone deserve everything, I had a non alcoholic drink- it was delicious. Every bite felt like comfort and fine dining combined. The plates are hearty and beautifully prepared. The ambiance was classy yet warm 😮‍💨 prices are reasonable, we had appetizers, 4 drinks, two entrees and it was less than $150 👏🏽 service was on point, the waitress was really nice and made us feel welcomed. One of my favs places currently.

Finally made it here after wanting to check this place out for sometime. I gotta tell you it didn’t disappoint. I like the atmosphere. It’s sort of that modern industrial vibe the nice bar. The restaurant is not huge, but I would definitely say it’s bigger than it appears on the outside we did make a reservation, which I would recommend as I said just because of it not being that big we were seated and greeted pretty promptly by our waitress Courtney, who actually turned out to be really good very friendly big pretty smile knew the menu knew the answer to all the questions I had made some good recommendations we decided on the deviled egg appetizer which was to die for in my opinion. I’m a huge deviled egg fan so that says a lot, and then we got the blackened grouper and the salmon both dishes, as well as the deviled eggs were presented amazingly, I liked that there was plenty of time in between each thing brought to the table, so it wasn’t like we were rushed. I had the house dirty spicy martini, and my girlfriend had the passionfruit drink again housemaid everything was really good. I couldn’t find fault in anything or waitress had even mentioned about them having chef features on Fridays and Saturdays unfortunately, we were there on a Thursday so we weren’t able to partake in any of that, but we definitely will be back as well as the brunch offered on Sunday and she was so kind as to ask us if we want to see the brunch menu and of course I did so I can’t wait to come backa couple of really good looking dishes for their brunch on Sundays from 10 to 2. Anyone looking for just something with modern flare beautiful presentation great service and a cool upscale industrial vibe definitely check this place out. You won’t be disappointed

Benaiahs is FANTASTIC! Three of us had an awesome meal. We shared 3 starters, 1 side (had to try the elote potatoes!), 2 entrees, and 1 dessert to taste as much of the menu as possible. Fabulous cocktails. Beautiful presentation. The maltagliati on the menu right now may be the best pasta dish I’ve had in the US. Treat yourself or someone else and try it!

We made reservations for me and six of my friends for brunch. We were seated promptly. Large parking lot and a variety of items are on their brunch menu. I ordered the brunch burger with fries. The fries were seasoned perfectly and crisp to perfection, burger was juicy and flavorful and roll was nice and soft. Probably one of the best burger and fries combos I have ever had. Friends at the table ordered French toast, breakfast sandwich and breakfast tacos and everyone said their meals and drinks were very good. We had terrific service from Tina and we are all looking forward to returning for dinner sometime soon. Please note for parties over six people there is an automatic 22% gratuity fee applied to all of the bills. They did separate checks for our party (which was greatly appreciated) and this was listed on the bill. If you wish to add more of a tip you may and are giving the option, but please know a nice tip was already included on the bill.

This restaurant’s chef has Michelin star potential. Usually when my husband and I travel and go to more rural places usually the food is rated by friends and we never expect much. But as a New Yorker this was Manhattan quality and I’ve been to many Michelin star restaurants, and Michelin reviewed restaurants in the city. never had flavors like this. It was outstanding. The decor of the restaurant could use some work if it wants to be a Michelin restaurant. However, you have something special here.

Fabulous ambiance and amazing food. We ordered my son pancakes from the kid's menu, which looked divine. I got this delicious salad, and if we come back again I will get the crabs benedict. Highly recommend this place.

Loved our visit. Hidden gem in the Hbg area. Service was out of this world. The manager/ host and our waiter made our night so fun. Absolutely unique, fresh and creative. Excited to return. Must vist for local foodies and all who like great food. Visit, try, enjoy!

We came in from out of town looking for a unique place to try. Benaiah's is a MUST stop if you're in the area. Everything is made from scratch and has a great twist on traditional dishes. The staff is friendly and very clean. Katrina was phenomenal and was on top of everything. We look forward to coming back!

I live pretty close to this spot and have enjoyed the service and food at Beerded Goat, so we decided to check out Benaiah's. First of all, the restaurant is gorgeous and has a bar area set aside as well that makes it a very accessible restaurant. We went during happy hour and our waitress, Heather, knocked it out of the park! So polite, funny, friendly, and attentive. She made it a great experience! We enjoyed the happy hour menu of elote potatoes and $4 drafts! For our main meal, I had the half order of the crab pappardelle and my husband had the half order of the chicken pot pie pasta, we were both floored with the taste and helping, definitely treat yourself! We ended up paying $80 for our drinks, apps, and meals which we thought was a steal! Quality: 4.5/5 Customer service: 5/5 Cost for value: 4.5/5

Had a great brunch. Kids enjoyed their food. Elote potatoes were the stand out dish. Classic Benedict was nice but the hollandaise was a little flavorless. Service very good but stretched thin. Ambiance was energetic. Would go back but want to try more of the menu.

Benaiah's wood fired kitchen was a place I was highly anticipating to visit. Unfortunately for me it wasn't exactly a place I would have to visit again. While the service was absolutely amazing.. the food was just good.. and yes good is good but for the price points there's nothing to really rave about and you could probably go somewhere else and get more bang for your buck. The ambiance is also just kinda " meh" it kinda feels like you're sitting in a shed, just very " pop up " feeling which they are newer so it makes sense.

Amazing new brunch spot! I went with the bacon and Gouda omelette. It was packed full of flavor with balsamic onions, bacon, and Gouda. What made the dish was the horseradish aïoli on top. Don't forget about the potatoes that were so crispy and seasoned perfectly. My friend had the crab Benedict and it looked so fresh. She said it was some of the best Benedict she's ever had. We split the pastry, but unfortunately, it was a little burnt. The place is decorated just enough. The bar is inviting. Their cocktails make me want to try everyone.

Best food I've had in the area for a while. Yes, the food is on the pricier end but it is definitely worth a try. The meat is cooked to perfection. The wood fire grill definitely makes a difference! They gave us complementary sourdough bread with a goat cheese (and i believe cranberry?) spread. It was moist and delicious. The drinks were alright. We could've gone without them. We started with the Brussels sprouts. If you don't like Brussels, you might like this one. My husband doesn't like Brussels but couldn't stop eating this one. I got the steak and he got the chicken. I love steak but the chicken was better in my opinion. Either way, the food was delicious. All the vegetables were well seasoned and cooked. Our server was kind and answered our questions about the food. The place is small and connected to another restaurant (bearded goat) . It was a more intimate setting. Perfect date spot or a nice place to go with family/close friends.

this would've been done sooner, but I was in the moment and loving every thing about the dinner. I mean. The ambience, service, and food was all amazing. Definitely returning and referring.

We've been wanting to try this restaurant, and decided that our 40th anniversary was a good reason to try it. We did not regret the decision! The service and food were exceptional, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into the littlest of details. The mere fact that they have Guinness beer on tap puts this restaurant in the top tier in my opinion. Then there's the bread - OMG it was so unique and so good! A duck fat rosemary focaccia bread that was truly something special! For our entrees we ordered the Halibut Rockefeller and the ribeye steak. I say "we ordered" because we're one of those annoying couples who pass our plates back and forth with each other, so you can never say at the end which dish was yours. Both entrees came with the asparagus parmigiana, which I highly recommend as a side dish. The crispy fingerling potatoes are also a must. For dessert we shared a piece of butter cake, which was topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh blackberries. The butter cake was denser than what we're used to but still tasty. The ice cream was so creamy and smooth, it was another surprising treat! All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant you shouldn't wait until your 40th anniversary to go!

This is by far my new favorite restaurant in Harrisburg! We have gone twice now and both experiences were unique and absolutely fantastic. Insanely knowledgeable staff, wonderful atmosphere, and the food feels like something you'd order at a bougie restaurant in NYC. A top favorite food item would be the Shoyu Deviled Eggs which I could eat 24 of! Since we've done dinner twice our next visit will be for the brunch which looks heavenly. Please, please, PLEASE check this place out! "Chef curated menu, craft cocktails, broad wine selection, high end spirit options."

We were celebrating my husband's birthday. We've been to Benaiahs a few times and always enjoyed our meal. Service has always been on spot. However, need to send a shot out to a few employees. First, Sofia the hostess was incredible. She is sweet, engaging, funny, and wanted to make our experience special. What an incredible young woman. Kudos to you. Our waitres, Tina was wonderful. Even though some of the appetizers we wanted to order were sold out she was apologetic, we picked other appetizers that were delicious and she brought us 2 glasses of champagne for being out of what we originally wanted to order. Ok, Andrew. He is absolutely amazing. His customer service is outstanding and honestly the best I've experienced. We've been to Benaiahs a number of times but I wouldn't say we're regulars and he remembers us and always comes to our table to make sure everything is going well. Not only that, he is engaging and authenticate. What a wonderful person he is.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed dinner & drinks here! The ambiance is ok, but doesn't feel as chic as the menu does. The space still feels warehouse-like and not as warm & inviting as you would like. That being said, the menu is fabulous! Our server was top-notch and very knowledgeable about the cocktails and the specials. Our table shared the fried green tomatoes and the elote potatoes. Both were delicious and each element was perfectly executed. The elote potatoes was the shining star dish of our evening. I ordered the wood grilled salmon as my entree. The salmon was cooked beautifully and the harissa glaze was nice and bright. The couscous and broccolini were wonderful sides to this dish. Everyone was delighted with their food. The cocktails just put this outing over the top! I ordered the violet sky gimlet and was smitten. It was a perfect blend of flavors. I tried my friend's Black Velvet Manhattan and loved that one as well. Benaiah's is just a great all-around place for foodies to enjoy a night out. We will definitely be back!

Lovely new restaurant in the area. I've been twice and both times, the service and food were exceptional. Danielle was very knowledgeable and friendly! My favorite so far is the brussels sprouts appetizer, they have great flavor. If you're skeptical or don't like brussels, this dish just may change your opinion! The elote potatoes and the ribeye were also great choices.

For all of the hype this restaurant has received, I'm not really sure it has lived up to it. I found Benaiahs through social media and decided to check it out with my fiancée for a date night. Based on photos, pricing, and social media advertising, we thought it would be a more upscale restaurant with a chic/fine dining type atmosphere. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was entirely lacking and a major disappointment. While the food may be considered, by some, to be fine dining, the atmosphere is more like a brewery with stark lighting, little to no sound insulation, basic tables, and a garage door. It was extremely loud, far more casual than we expected (yes - you could wear your sweats), and in no way romantic or upscale. If you frequent locally owned restaurants that source close to home and serve farm-to-table style dishes, there is nothing special here. If you normally frequent chain restaurants and want something nicer, don't mind a brewery-type setting, and/or don't mind spending exorbitant amounts of money for small "fancy" dishes, then this is probably the place for you! Service was okay and our drinks, appetizers, and entrees were all served quickly. In summary, come here if you are looking for something nicer than a chain restaurant on the East shore and you have plenty of money to spend, but you're also not that hungry. Don't come here if you are looking for an upscale, romantic date night with fantastic food to boot. Unfortunately, Benaiahs just didn't hit the mark.

The food, drinks and wait staff are great. I love this unassuming place with its unique menu.

This was our second night in a row (!) at Benaiah's. Tonight, we did a bunch of appetizers, the Italian chopped salad (on recommendation from Hailey, our outstanding server), drinks and a shared dessert. Everything was great. Those fried green tomatoes were better than we remembered from last night. Again, we say this culinary team doesn't have an off night. Really amazing food even when you're just sharing appetizers. We had a great table with a window view. Two nights in a row, two nights that they could not miss. Well-done again. Can't believe we waited this long to try it. Don't make our mistake and get there soon.

Friendly and attentive service. We tried the deviled eggs, ribeye steak and the crab pappardelle...all were very tasty. The crab pappardelle will be my go to! For dessert we tried the butter cake, it was very delicious and not too sweet. They have good wine choices and a full bar, which is awesome considering all the BYOB establishments in the area. They did a fantastic job making our wedding anniversary so special!

We came for drinks and stayed all night!!! The house hot and dirty martini is out of this world! Bartender so knowledgeable about bourbon and completely changed my mind about rye's. We will be back many many many times!!!!!!

Food was average. Service was good. Ambiance was like dining in a warehouse. Pics on website make it look like fine dining room but is not.

I had stumbled across this restaurant on yelp. Had never heard of it so we gave it a try. Restaurant was empty when we went but it was day after Christmas. The service was amazing. Our waitress Cheyenne was wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was great. We started with the elote potatoes which had wonderful flavor. I had the crab fettuccine and my husband had the ribeye. The pasta was great with just a kick of spice. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. Craft cocktails were great. I recommend the King of Mules. I would highly recommend this place!
