I love going to the ferry building and visiting Benedetta..I have been using Benedetta for 5 years. The team their has always been great. I never had a bad experience. Not to mention this is the best skincare on the market..

Stopped to see what they were offering. Employees were rude and involved in their own conversation.

This review is for the customer service. San Francisco is having San Diego weather and inside the ferry building market place it is quite warm. The only coolness is the floor. The lady working today walked over and gave Alley and her friend Chili some water. Showing that amount of kindness without the benefit of a sale means the staff is honest. I would go to them with all my skin care needs when in San Francisco. She gained a customer without trying.

Put me in sun with all-natural deodorant and I start smelling like a man. I even do without sun. Yes, I'm that stinky. Well, until I was introduced to Benedetta's spray deodorant. It works! Really really works!!!! My friend told me that her teenage son uses it and he doesn't smell at all. I thought I'd try it out and used it for the first time on a road trip to AZ. What better place, right? My friends and I drove and drove and drove in the sun and by the end of the day I was sweaty but not stinky. It was a fricken miracle! You have no idea how many natural deodorants I tried before this one. I'm not sure what the magic ingredient is but it's surely a miracle!!!!

Benedetta is truly a superb product. My favorites are the Hydrating Elixir and Facial Oil. Also I am huge lavender lover so I loooove the body lotion. Truly sustainable products that show results the moment you began to use it. Also the bottles are durable and wonderful for travel. There is a very friendly young man named Oliver at this location who is very knowledgeable about skincare. He persuaded me to try the product simply because he has impeccable skin himself and warming energy. Apparently Benedetta is as passionate about employing amazing people as they are making great product. This is the REAL DEAL!

I discovered the line of Benedetta face and body products over the holidays- the kiosk (at the East end, near Sur La Table) is inviting and the people working there are happy to provide samples and to answer questions. I cannot say enough about the quality of products, and the results I have seen with my own skin in just three weeks. Clearer skin, less breakouts, and all natural, organic, and bio-dynamic. While it is expensive by volume compared to other high-end lines (I'm a former Image C user) a little does indeed go a long way and is an excellent value. Consistent use as recommended has also helped diminish a few age spots, and has evened out my skin tone (I'm fair with no freckles.) Petra, who wrote the first review, also referred me to an excellent resource for evaluating thousands of skin care products and I am shocked to find what I though were "healthy" products listed as hazardous, when compared to dozens of data-driven, scientific analyses. (Google "Skin Deep" which will take you www.cosmeticsdatabase.com.) If you wanted to try only only one product- try the Control Creme to help manage breakouts. It will work to diminish existing blemishes, and prevent future ones. Two products- try the Rose Geranium face cleanser. You won't be disappointed.

I was given a sample of the deodorant at a time in my life when I was in a puzzle of what I was going to do about deodorant. I had never been a person with body order so I never thought much about it. However over the last few months as my body has changed, I noticed I needed something.There has been a lot of buzz surrounding natural deodorants and how much better they are for your body. The buzz has also been natural deodorants aren't as strong and can still leaving you humming ( smelling). I had tried Tom's but didn't like the smells it came in. My goal was to buy different brands to see which one worked best. In my life appears Benedetta Best Deodorant. Talk about LOA. LOL I was excited to see the sample came in a vessel the same as tester perfumes. I was even more excited to see the actual bottle came like that also. I became convinced spray deodorant was the way to go. I never used an aerosol and it never crossed my mind to do so. The citrus smell is fantastic. The spray dries quickly. More importantly, the deodorant is actually fighting the bacteria that causes the odor. How next level is that?!!!!! The deodorant is all natural botanicals and it really works!! Anyway I wanted to give Benedetta a review because they really deserve it! I am a fan!

BEST SKINCARE EVER!! The Founder Julia Faller is an absolute genius. I constantly get compliments on my skin.

I have been meaning to write a review of Benedetta for a while; I have used the products for about six months, and have been very pleased with their quality and performance. The staff at the kiosk are super friendly, too. I worked near the Embarcadero and found the Benedetta kiosk at the farmers market one afternoon. I was slightly desperate; I was on a topical medication that was leaving my face irritated and red. I went through so many brands of lotions, and even the most sensitive made my skin burn. I bought the trial packet of the ylang ylang benedetta face products, and I'm still using the moisturizer, elixer, tea tree lotion, intensive oil, and occassionslly the cleanser. None of the products have irritated my skin or made it too oily or broken me out. As far as I can tell, the primary ingredient in most of the products is aloe vera, which I know is excellent for skin. And the price is also reasonable; I estimate it costs me $30-50/month for all of the products I am using. (The bottles last a while; oil can be used more sparingly than oil-free lotions.) I'm very happy with the products and customer service!! Five stars.

I love Benedetta's products. I am new to the line (4 months) but I love that my skin feels very soft, it is clear and the products feel and smell so wonderful! I am especially enamored with the Vibrant Body Lotion. It smells divine, my skin feels great and has a subtle sheen. Also, as a Bikram Yoga practitioner, I can maintain a tight grip because the lotion isn't all slippery like others I have used. That's a big deal for me! Go Benedetta!

The Sacred Soap is outstanding. It lathers up so nicely in the shower. And the scent is subtle, and doesn't overtake the senses. I had a lovely consultation with the owner and creator of the company, Julia. She took the time to listen to my skin problems, and she had suggestions for which of her products would work best for me. I had to be patient and wait for them to arrive. Once they did. I went on a 21 day journey of using the creme rosemary and geranium cleanser, the crystal radiance elixir, the palmarosa oil, and the neroli moisturizer. Following the directions on their web site on how to use each was easy to do, and helpful in how to use everything as Julia had planned them to be used was great. Now more than 22 days later, and still using Benedetta's awesome products, my skin is more moist and significantly less red and irritated than when I started. The best thing I can write about the experience is, the skin on my face no longer hurts. If you have skin problems, definitely give them a call.

LOVE their deodorant! The whole family has been using it for years. It really IS the World's Best Deodorant!

I have used the geranium cleanser for a decade and I wouldn't be without it. The cleanser can be used as a simple cleanser or left on as a nourishing mask. I've used the seaweed bath several times while sick with the flu. After soaking for twenty minutes I felt like a new woman, aches gone, like a human again. These products are unlike any others.

Ordered the hydrating elixir, neroli for the first time. It works perfectly on my skin! I have combination/dry skin, and even when i spray it by itself w/o using face cream my face still feels moisturized for long time! One time i sprayed it on mosquito bites since I didn't have a mosquito spray with me. It worked magically well, got rid of the itchiness feeling right away~I definitely recommend Benedetta to everyone who cares about skin :)

I purchase a can of Benedetta's Seaweed Bath. It came without the usual bath oil. The minute a customer service became aware of it, they went out of their way to mail me a bottle of their divine Aromatherapuetic Bath Oil. Thank you.

I have been on the hunt for products made with less ingredients and simple, plant-based ingredients. I stopped into Benedetta and was lucky enough to get help from Oliver, who was extremely helpful and a clear fan of the products. He wasn't pushy at all. He answered questions and concerns I had about my current skincare routine, especially my concerns with most sunscreens. I have very sensitive skin and hide it from the sun as much as possible, but am apprehensive about the toxic effects of wearing chemical sunscreens daily. Enter: Ombra del Sole. I was practically rushing out of the door after Oliver convinced me to try it out, and I haven't been disappointed. I apply it to my arms, neck, chest and face after my skin care routine and I am so happy with the results. I'll definitely be back to purchase more of the Ombra del Sole and try out more from the product line, too.

Absolutely the best skincare line Ive ever tried! Im currently using the rosemary&geranium cleanser, crystal elixir neroli, geranium oil, neroli moisturizer and the control cram that has helped with breakouts on chin and neck. I was looking for skin products like these! I found this wonderful brand after I dug online for days looking for a natural yet effective skin line to heal my over dried skin due to all the commercial products I ave used in the past. I also tried the sea weed mask, is a MUST! instantly my skin was glowing and the pimples I had faded away. Im purchasing the sea weed mask package since I am very satisfied with the results. The sales department are very kind and helpful as well. The products arrive on time and safe. I really appreciate they use ecological packaging and sustainable sources. Next product to try, sacred soap and deodorant! I also encourage parents with teenagers dealing with acne to try this brand. Don't use commercial products that over dry their young skin. Have them try these skin line! I give Benedetta 6 stars!

just spent the night at a friends house after staying out late at dinner and dancing. I was unprepared with my overnight bag and removed makeup and showered before bed using her Benedetta products. Wow!! I was so impressed with the quality, utility and OMG the scents of each product that I showered again in the morning before leaving. Greedy, yes, but I could hardly wait to get my own. I will be ordering immediately. I loved the rosemary & geranium cleanser, nourishing oil, sacred soap and body lotion and the best deodorant, can't wait to get my own.

As a long time user of Benedetta myself, I have nothing but good things to say about the product and it's founder, Julia. I first came upon this product while shopping at the Ferry building and noticed it displayed at the Village Market store. I had a long conversation with an employee who had been doing the demo's for the product there and eventually tried some of the samples. I was told it was made by a women who founded the company about 15 years ago and was locally based in Petaluma, CA. I have always suffered from oily, acne prone and sensitive skin, have some rosacia and eczema. I have tried a lot of products out there that claimed to be natural, or were not 100% free of toxic chemicals, preservatives and were not 100% cruelty free. I can truly attest from personal use and by meeting and talking to the founder herself that she truly cares about the people using the product first and foremost. The products were designed to "assist the cells, tissues, organs and body systems to function optimally using certified organic, bio dynamic and sustainable ingredients." The products are also made locally in small batches to ensure the same quality and consistently and so that the manufacturer can better control what goes into it every single batch made. Probably a few of the most noteworthy things to mention regarding this business is that they are a "certified" green business, meaning that everything comes from post consumer recycled materials and is environmentally and ecologically friendly and safe. The essential oils used in the skin and body care line is holistic and meant to be therapeutic. Every material used is hand picked by Julia herself. Since using Benedetta for the past two years and struggling to find employment in this slow economy, I am now happy to have become an employee of Benedetta and would love to share the knowledge I have learned with others out there who may have encountered similar disappointment and dissatisfaction with other products and companies that have come to compromise their ingredients and integrity for more profit. Their seaweed bath packages are beyond the beyond. There's nothing else like them anywhere. Strong, healing, fragrant and powerful. I go to their beautiful Derry building store just to get them. Worth the journey!

These products are expensive but the very best that you can buy for your skin. I haven't used any other deodorant since I tried their "Best Deodorant" some years ago. I haven't lived in California in two years but I make sure to stop and replenish my supply of deodorant every time that I visit!

A friend gifted me the Benedetta Rosemary and Geranium Cleanser a few months ago, and I'm hooked. I have tried everything for my sensitive skin, and this is the only stuff that works for more than a couple of weeks. In the past, I have had to use bars of soap (fewer ingredients) to avoid an allergic reaction, but that has left my skin dry and flaky and congested. i have always settled for that over hives all over my face. Now that I am planning a wedding, I need to get my skin under control and it's time to restock!

Wow!!! best skin care I have used EVER! I have spent ridiculous amounts of money in the past for supposedly good skin care. But no more this brand is reasonably priced and gives you an amazing completion no more dryness, dark spots etc... love holistic skin care this is the way forward for me. I don't usually write reviews, however the product is so good I just had to.

I walk by their store at the Ferry Building almost every Saturday when I go to the farmers market and finally decided to give it a try few weeks ago. I've had problems with my skin over the last year and I tried all natural things possible, some work some did not. Benedetta takes the natural skincare to the next level. I've been using the the geranium cleanser and blemish creme for the last 2 weeks and my skin is glowing and blemishes (mostly congested pores) are clearing away!!! I have also added the seaweed mask which is awesome. It keeps your skin smooth and soft for days. Yes they are on the expensive side, but I do not mind spending money on products that are organic, natural and produce visible results. My only regret is that I have not tried their products sooner!!!

This stuff is the real deal! I was turned on to Benedetta by a good friend several years ago and have fallen in love with all of Julia's products! I love them so much, I actually started working for her part time :) I ask myself sometimes what product I could not live without and it would probably be the Rosemary & Geranium cleanser. It is so luscious and moisturizing that my skin rejoices when I apply it. Now that I have used it regularly for at least 3 years, everything else feels inadequate in comparison. Her line is about calming, balancing, and hydrating the skin and I have seen a marked improvement in hydration, texture, and brightness from regular use. If I had to pick a runner-up product I couldn't live without, it is a tie between the eye cream and the seaweed mask. The eye cream is rich, but not heavy on the delicate skin around the eyes. It also works amazingly! It is so different from other stuff out there. It gently corrects fine lines, relieves puffiness and tension, and feels oh so good on! Love that product so much and it is actually a really good bargain! I use 1/2 a pump, sometimes 2 x a day, and it lasts me 7 months or longer. The other runner-up product I could not live without is the seaweed mask. This mask gently exfoliates, brightens, and lifts. I always feel like my skin has never been smoother, cleaner, or younger-looking after I rinse the mask off my face. It's hard for me not to also mention my intense love for the sacred soap (the base of which is black soap so it is super duper moisturizing on your skin while cleansing!) and also the body lotions (a little lasts all day! I can even feel it on my skin in the shower the next day!) There is so much thought, intention and care that goes into this product line and they are all 100% botanical based. See for yourself--do your skin a favor and treat yourself to a Benedetta product! You won't regret it! The whole line is aromatherapeutic too, so everything is intoxicating to the senses and I find them mood balancing :)

Hello, If you haven't tried the Benedetta product line you should look into all the different choices they have. I have loved everything that I have tried so far. My favorite by far is the Eye Cream. I love this stuff. Nothing seems to work as good as this product. You only have to use a small amount and the bottle last a good while. I have puffy under eyes and the Eye Cream noticeably takes away the puffiness. When ordering on their on-line service, my package always gets here on time and haven't had any problems with my order. I hope to try other items as I continue to by from this company. Thank you Benedetta for your great products!! =)

The most incredible skin care I've come across in my many years of searching! It is so difficult to find a natural and organic skin care line that actually lives up to being natural. Many say they are natural and organic but when you read they ingredient list they are still filled with some type of chemical and preservative. But Benedetta is authentic skin care! I had some early onset skin damage from the sun and drying from the winter. But after using their to go pack for a week the results were incredible. My skin has never been in better shape. The fragrance and the quality is wonderful as well. After trying Benedetta you will experience that they are the real deal. I've tried almost all the products and I recommend anything they sell!

I'm headed over to the Ferry Bldg. to get their Vitality Body Lotion for my 102 yr. old grandmother. It's a pretty penny but nothing works quite like it does to get her circulation in her legs going and just give her energy when she is feeling a bit spent. I have been using their products for over 10 years, and they really deliver. I cannot count the times their cleanser has calmed a nasty breakout, or that my husband and I have taken their seaweed bath to help bring relief from a nasty cold or flu. The only thing that would make me love them more is if I could once again find their products in the East Bay, rather than having to trek across the bridge.

Seriously the best deodorant ever created. I don't how it works - it is magical. And worth every penny! I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is the one and only skincare line you will ever need! I purchased a facial sampler and wow there were so many products to try. I loved them all. This line offers so much, for all different skin types and uses safe ingredients from natural sources that you can recognize and not wonder if they are toxic. Worth every penny!

I used the Rosemary and Geranium Cream Cleanser to fade a skin discoloration on my forehead. I had developed a dark thick line on my forehead from riding my bike home from work into the setting sun for over a year. The space from my sunglasses to my helmet was so much darker than the rest of my face. Everyone was commenting on it and I didn't know what to do. I read that this cleanser could help with dark spots so I gave it a try. Over a few short months the dark line was gone and my skin was in great condition. Thanks Benedetta!

Love your products! I first tried Benedetta via an esthetician several years ago, she gave me a small sample pack after my facial. Once depleted I truly missed the feel and smells so I ordered online the Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir, deodorant, Eye Creme, and several other products. I was in heaven! There is truly nothing like this product line in the market, natural and especially knowing what ingredients are going into my body this is well worth it. My favs are the deodorant (although very powerful smell) and the Hydrating Elixir and especially the eye creme (it may seem expensive but you use so little of it each day!).

I LOVE this product line. I am definitely a skin care product junkie, constantly on the look out for a product that will actually improve my skin but not also be laden with harsh chemicals and toxins. I have struggled with mild acne and some redness most of my adult life and despite trying a multitude of products none have worked until now. Many plant based skin care lines are too strong and resulted in more acne or redness but not Benedetta. The products are AMAZING! Not only do they work on your skin but you can feel even better knowing they are non toxic and organic. My skin cleared up almost immediately and literally glows. I am totally nuts for the seaweed mask-an absolute must. I have one regimen that I use in the winter and change it up slightly in the summer for the humid weather back east. The cost may be expensive to some however it is comparable and even less expensive than what you would purchase at the dermatologist or department stores and well worth the expense. I highly recommend trying the travel size or sample starter kit first which enables you to try the products for less before committing to the whole line which you inevitably will. Also the staff at the kiosk at the ferry building are very knowledgeable about the product and happy to let you sample.

I discovered this brand about 12 years ago in a local pharmacy while visiting the bay area. I have never been to one of their retail stores, but I am an online customer for many years. I started with the seaweed mask, which to this day is my most favorite mask, and I have tried probably a hundred over the years. It is great for all skin types and will immediately transform your skin. I started using the rosemary and geranium cleanser, which is the most unique and wonderful product. It is very different from any other cleanser I have ever used, and I feel like it deeply detoxifies with very little effort on my part. My skin has really changed for the better using this regimen. I never had bad skin, but I feel like my skin looks better now at 37 using these products than it looked 10 years ago. It has a more even tone and an underlying glow, and I can tell when I hold up a photo from 10 years ago until now. I use the neroli moisturizer and the palmrosa face oil and this combination of products is amazing. . I could go on, but do yourself a favor and try these products. There is nothing else out there that compares to it, and I am someone who has spent way more money than anyone ever should in search of the best skincare. The fact that these products are organic and sustainable while delivering unbelievable results puts them in a class by themselves. Don't let the prices deter you from trying them, because they are a bargain for the results that you will see, if your experience is anything like mine.
