We visited on Father’s Day, and the place was understandably very busy. The staff looked exhausted, with no smiles when greeting or taking orders. It took quite a while to receive menus and place our order, and when the food arrived only half the table got cutlery — we had to ask for more.
On the positive side, the food and coffee were served fairly quickly. We ordered three coffees and one hot chocolate; while two of the coffees and the hot chocolate were lukewarm, they still tasted great. The food itself was also delicious.
As for customer service, I understand Father’s Day is hectic, but in hospitality a warm smile and attentive service make a big difference — especially when spending close to $200 on breakfast. Good service helps ensure customers want to come back again.
