I purchased two pieces of your famous pandan chiffon cake near noon time today. Interestingly, the staff took the slices from outside the display instead of the ones shown.
Only after leaving the store did I realise how impressively thin the slices were — so thin that a 20-cent coin could probably compete for thickness.
Perhaps your company might want to consider applying for the Enterprise Innovation Scheme (EIS) to automate the slicing process, or alternatively, send your staff to SkillFuture to improve their skills.
This experience does raise questions about company integrity. I’m also unsure whether the practice of keeping pre-packed, uneven slices out of sight is company policy or simply a staff decision.
