Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital

We had an adenoidectomy for our three-year-old with Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Đức on April 29. The operation itself was quick, around 30 minutes, and everything was well-organised and smooth. Dr. Đức is a skilled and professional ENT surgeon. The anesthesiologist and the nurses also formed a great team - very kind and supportive. Our child woke up about an hour after the surgery, hungry and ready to eat. He was already eating normally the same day, and now, a week later, he breathes through his nose. There’s still a bit of swelling, but we’re really happy with the result. Vinmec hospital has nice, clean rooms, like hotel-style wards. The only small downside was the parent bed, it was a bit too firm, just a fold-out. But overall, everything related to the surgery went perfectly. We’re very grateful to Dr. Đức for his professionalism, speed and care throughout the process and to the Vinmec team!

we waited for 2 hours to get medical assistance because they needed to check every single step with the insurance company although they cover everything. first they asked for 1.800.000 dong deposit, then they said it is going to be 5.000.000 because of unnecessary, expensive blood analyses (that costed 8.000.000 according to them) and again they requested insurance company for that. then i said we don't need that and deposit decreased to 1.000.000 dong. their medical assistance was unhelpful. they didn't found the reason for strong allergy we had. instead they suggested to stay in the hospital for further hospitalisation (just to get more money i guess). now they said we need to wait for approval from insurance company to get the medicines their doctor prescribed for us. it will take another hour.... the experience here was horrible and draining. DO NOT RECOMMEND if you have an emergency case.

VinMec is the best hospital I’ve ever been to! I ended up in the emergency department, and from the very first moment, everything ran incredibly smoothly. Every staff member knew exactly what to do — the coordination, professionalism, and care were truly outstanding. The emergency team walked me through every step of the process, helped identify the issue, and once it was confirmed, I received surgery on the spot. The surgeon was calm, confident, and highly professional, which gave me great trust in the care I was receiving. For the entire visit — consultation, screening, diagnosis, surgery, and all medications — I paid 6,000,000 VND (around $230 USD) without insurance. Given the level of care and support I received, that’s absolutely incredible. After the surgery, I returned for dressing changes, which typically cost around 150,000 VND per visit, again with excellent service and professionalism. I’ve seen some comments about the deposit policy, but this is standard hospital procedure. It’s like entering someone’s home — you respect their rules. And in this case, the service you receive in return is truly world-class. Huge thanks to the entire VinMec Emergency team — my wound has healed beautifully, and I feel amazing. I couldn’t be more grateful! 💛

I would like to express my gratitude to Vinmec Nha Trang Clinic for their high professionalism and attentive care. The staff are always polite and responsive, the doctors explain every prescription in detail and take time to answer all questions. The clinic is modern and comfortable, and you can feel the care for patients at every stage. I recommend this clinic to everyone who values high-quality medical services.

I broke my hip on Jan. 20 and I was brought to VinMec hospital. Here the preformed my surgery and my aftercare until February 8. The nurses were absolutely magnificent! They were very patient, kind ., and sweet. I got the best care that I could have gotten after suffering an injury in another country! They are neat, clean, positive, and so respectful to me and all of my family! Thank you VinMec

Excellent hospital with great facilities! I was admitted to the emergency department in not very good shape after a diving incident and spent 5 days in the general ward. The staff are all very friendly and professional and looked after me well. Each time the specialist came to see me she was accompanied by a translator so it was easy to understand everything they were telling me. The facilities are very modern and even on the general ward I had a private room with shower etc (see pictures). They provided a bed for my daughter to sleep on to enable her to stay with me overnight. The food was excellent with a ‘western’ and Vietnamese menu option each day, I would recommend the Vietnamese option which was as good as any restaurant I have been to in Vietnam😋(also see pictures). In my opinion this is an excellent hospital and I would highly recommend it if you are a tourist and need any medical assistance in Nha Trang.

I had a very positive birth experience at Vinmec Nha Trang with the Obstetrics and Gynecology team. I used the maternity package and felt safe, supported, and well cared for as a foreigner giving birth in Vietnam. Dr. Hà was excellent—professional, kind, and very attentive. The facilities are clean and modern, and the staff are caring. Highly recommend to other expectant mothers.

Overall, the service is good, but if Vinmec aspires to be an “international” hospital (as its name suggests), the staff need more multicultural training to ensure they interact appropriately with foreign patients. When I went to register to see a doctor, the staff asked me to show them my medical condition, which required me to remove some clothing. This took place in the lobby, with many people around. The reception staff are not medically trained and are therefore not qualified to make any medical assessments. This experience made me feel uncomfortable. While such behaviour may be acceptable for some Vietnamese patients, most international patients would likely find it inappropriate.
