This was a teletext deal which included this hotel. ||1) If you have children do not come here unless you like long walks or paying for buses and taxis a lot. There is a bus which is the 26 which comes past the hotel but seems to come at Radom times. We walked to the bottom of the hill, which isn’t far and got the No 2 from the other side of the road. €6.40 for 4 people one way. The walk down is much easier as it’s mostly downhill so recommend you get bus or taxi €8 back.||2) The rooms are very dated. Ours was clean (108) and looked out on the golf course. There’s no hairdryer, toaster or kettle BUT all are available at reception if you ask as long as you take them back when you leave. As the hotel was extremely quiet think that this could be a problem in high season as everyone will want these items.||The beds were all fine. Had to take rubbish out on day of leaving. The other bit I found annoying was cleaning the room before having it inspected by the staff. I don’t go on holiday to clean I do enough of this at home. ONCE this is checked you then get your €200 deposit back. Yes all that from previous reviews is true. They put it back on straight away. Also our balcony doors didn’t shut so had to get someone to fix them which they did. No tea towels. They did supply a very small box of dish washing tablets, washing up liquid and a washing up cloth. ||3) Security. As I had read all the horror stories we took all our items with us everywhere we went. I know not ideal but wasn’t chancing it by paying for the safe and it disappearing. We didn’t see anything suspicious at all.||4) Staff. All very friendly and willing to help. There’s and room if you want to leave your suitcase for no charge. All didn’t speak good English. ||5) Facilities- The outside pool wasn’t open. The inside pool was okay but the door to the door was broken and we had to rescue another family who had been locked in for half an hour. The gym is pretty poor. Grounds are nice. Golf course is nothing to do with the hotel. ||Area- There’s a very cheap, lovely cafe at the bottom of the hill, on the main road and a supermarket. Too far away from everything. Much preferred the Old Town more expensive but much more traditional. The central side is literally full of English bars. Cheap but not why I go on holiday. Beaches are lovely. Very busy. ||We went on the motorised scooters which were great fun. €11 each for an hour but we got to see loads. ||Overall would not go to this hotel. There’s so much choice much nearer. ||Lastly there’s a bus from the airport to Benidorm central. It costs €18.60 each for a return. Follow signs for buses and the one for Benidorm central says it on the stop. Very easy and much cheaper than a taxi.
