We went a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and it was such a special experience! Our chef (Jorge) was amazing — he truly went above and beyond to make her feel celebrated. The whole family had so much fun, and the meal was absolutely delicious. We ordered one of their big cocktails to share, and wow — not only was it huge, but it was also really good! The food is always fresh, and the ambiance makes you feel comfortable and happy to be there. One thing I really love is that they always take a picture of your group when you go, which makes the visit feel even more memorable. The manager is great — very present and friendly. The place is always spotless, and the team is super serviceable. Definitely a great spot for a celebration or just a fun night out!

My recent visit to Benihana was absolutely fantastic, delivering not just a meal, but a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Our server, Samuel, was attentive and incredibly friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The real highlight, however, was the culinary artistry of our chef, Aaron. He put on an incredible performance at the hibachi grill, dazzling us with his knife skills and engaging showmanship. Beyond the entertainment, the food itself was perfectly cooked and delicious. Aaron's flair and expertise truly elevated the dining experience, making it much more than just a dinner out. I highly recommend Benihana for anyone looking for a fun atmosphere, great food, and an unforgettable show from talented chefs like Aaron! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Went out to dinner tonight and had wonderful service. Clifford was our server and he stayed on top of the drinks all night. Kept them filled. Jose the Manager was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Jacob was our chef. He put on a great show and cooked everything to perfection. What a great team taking care of everyone tonight. Great food and service!

Joe, my bartender/server was on task! I'd had a long day and he was very attentive and gracious. I'm grateful to have this location to relax after a long drive. The manager, Jose stopped by and made sure I was content with my meal and service. What an awesome staff!!! So much food!!!

I ordered the tempura shrimp roll I can’t say it was the best, the shrimp was bearly there, onion soup delicious and the other entree was also delicious 😋 and the dumplings yumm 😋. Biggest shout out to Joseph our serving staff he was tremendous nice and helpful about our doubts on the menu, and the manager Kelly was also very attentive. Thank you for such a nice first time there. Looking forward to visit again

I had an amazing experience at Benihana, thanks to the incredible staff! Joseph was my server, and he was absolutely awesome—super nice, attentive, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find someone with such great energy and professionalism at a chain restaurant. The manager, Kelly, was also fantastic. He was incredibly cool and made sure everything was running smoothly while being very helpful. You can tell he cares about both the guests and the team. A special shoutout to Megan for making me a badass cinnamon shot—it was creative, sweet, and added a fun touch to the night. Her effort really stood out and showed how much personality this crew brings to the table. Overall, this Benihana location has an all-star team with a level of service and personality you just don’t find at most chain restaurants. Sarah and Jose are such great managers. Jack did a great job cooking. You will get great food and a show. Make sure to ask for extra garlic butter and mayo sauce! They have the best lemon drop martini too!

We ordered the sushi for 2 and the food was fresh and amazing!! I couldn't believe how large the rolls were for such an amazing deal. The presentation for a to go order sushi meal was very detailed and handled with care!! 10/10 I'll order again soon.

You shouldn't sit a big party if everyone is not there yet. We celebrated Valentines dinner here and were sat with 3 couples but the last couple arrived 45 minutes late! Seriously? Such an inconvenience to a separate party! Then my husband was given a sparkling water instead of sprite, flat beer and his lobster was given to this late couple since the "no lemon" request was stuck to the chefs mind! If you know you didn't order lobster, why would you take it? Probably didn't even pay for it afterwards! So this couple was 45 minutes late and got a free lobster? Wow!!! Food was pretty good, a little peppery but good overall. Such a shame it has a bad service! Don't worry we still tip well but next time don't sit an incomplete party just like every other restaurant!

Tried the Conroe location for the first time but it was not better than The Woodlands location. The Woodlands is by far more experienced and better equipped with seasoned servers and bartenders because our waiter was extremely slow and didn't know the menu very well. He tried... The chef was great. If our chef wasn't good then I probably wouldn't have rated it 3 stars. The server got our order incorrectly too and the chef had to correct everyone's orders at the table. Our table took 3.5 hours to complete. That's crazy! We were all ready to go by the end of it. It had a lot to do with the fact that this lady who was allergic to onions, garlic and everything Benihana is known for and the chef had to keep switching back and forth with his utensils and cook hers separately at the same time as everyone else. Idk why she even decided to go to eat at Benihana and insisted that her food be cooked on the grill! Ugh. The manager was extremely nice though and took care of us with a future discount that we will probably never use. Also, don't get the soft shell crab appetizer. It was weird and not what we're used to.

All I can say is wow ! The service and our chef were phenomenal !! Our food was cooked great especially our scallops ,great taste and a great postive attitude from the staff I definitely recommend this place for any occasion ,not many pictures because the place speaks for itself! Go try them out and thank you to Jose the manager for inviting us back

What fun!! We started out with our GREAT server Cameron he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Then here came Chef Martin he was full of energy and enthusiasm and was so much fun to watch!! He is a fire ball...cooked our food to perfection and exactly like we ordered. Good job guys, it was fun and the service and the food was amazing. And a special thanks to the Manager Jose Reyes for the complimentary picture and the free appetizer coupon for our next visit. We will definitely be back. 100% improvement from our first trip there.

Why 4 stars? Because there's a reason this classic is still going strong. --- --- --- I don't know how many years it's been since I last dined at Benihana or any hibachi restaurant, but it's possible that it's been two decades. It's not because I don't like the experience - it's just not the cheapest meal and I had like 3,000 other places to visit. But on Christmas Day, when options were limited, Benihana sounded like the perfect place to go, so that's what we did. I ordered the Land n' Sea, which was scallops + filet. I remembered that the scallops at Benihana were always awesome and my memory did not lie to me. The filet also nicely hit the spot, but the scallops were the star of the show. The fried rice was also great and oh, so buttery. The soup and salad were kinda meh, but everything else from there was exactly what I hoped for. Customer service was top notch. We had multiple visits from managers to check on us toward the end of our visit. Our server was very funny and engaging. Our chef was the typical performer type. They even gave us a take-home gift and gave us a printed photo of our family before we left. The biggest downside is that the garlic in (I think one of the sauces), while delicious, has stayed with me even about 32 hours after my meal. That alone makes me not want to return for a while, but that's probably more about how my body reacts to heavy garlic, more than an indictment on Benihana.

Made the best decision in picking a place to go have lunch yesterday. I've been going to Benihanas across Houston for over 40 years now. Truthfully, it had gotten to the point that it was for the food rather than the service. Well, were we in for an extremely pleasant surprise when we stopped in the Conroe location. Our server, Joe (Joseph), was an unbelievable young man. He treated my mom and I exceptionally, just like a top rated server. The food was phenomenal. Top that off with the manager Kelly coming and offering us a momento picture in a frame, just like they used to have back in the day, plus he checked in on us a few times. They elevated the lunch to a whole wonderful experience. Something that doesn't really exist much in today's world! Bravo!!!! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you, Joe and Kelly.

Hosting our exchange student and she has never experienced hibachi before. So of course we had to visit Benihana! Amarice was our chef tonight and she was fabulous! She put on a terrific show, had and awesome personality and the food was good!! The chicken fried rice was top tier! Fantastic service and food! Our server was Cameron, a delightful young man and extremely efficient. Chef Martin was quite the comedian while demonstrating physical prowess during food preparation. Oh. And they're both working on their Japanese language skills Domo Arigato Gozaimashita y'all

We visited the Conroe location for my son's 14th birthday. No wait to be seated and the hostess actually took our picture, printed it and gave us several to take home. Chef John was skillful, funny and kept everyone engaged. Not to mention, our food was delicious! Emma was kind and attentive. Even the GM visited our table to ensure everything was satisfactory. We look forward to our next visit!

Fantastic service and food. The attention from when you walk in and be seated is top notch. Kelly the general manager has hired great staff to make everyone have enjoyable experience. We ordered Hibachi and the chef "Fat in the hat" aka Jacob was great and made our kids feel as if they were the center of attention. The food was amazing, the fried rice was perfectly cooked. I ordered the shrimp lunch special and it was greatly seasoned. We will be back

I was celebrating my birthday, I decided to stop in for a early dinner. From the moment I entered and sat down, the service has been wonderful. McKenzie and Cindy were amazing. Such great service and beautiful personalities. I do believe the food taste better when you receive great service and they didn't disappoint in the great tasting food department.

Guess what Conroe!! Benihana has set up shop! Came here for lunch with my sister in law and was greeted warmly buy whom I presumed was the manager and quickly seated. The restaurant was set up nicely and there didn't seem to be a huge lunch crowd but I'm assuming they would be ready to serve large groups if needed. The young lady who served us was very versed on the menu and various drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. My sister in law got a Peach Sangria (tasty) and I got an unsweetened black tea (refreshing), the hostess gave us time to look through the menu as it has been some time since we'd eaten at Benihana. They have an extensive menu both sushi, sashimi and hibachi entrees, however there is a simple lunch menu that works for smaller appetites. I went with the lunch duet - steak and chicken- and my sister in law got the spicy chicken. Also got an appetizer of tempura shrimp before our meal I wish I had held off even though the shrimp was good because our lunch came with soup so by the time we ate our meals we were so full. Our cook was fun and entertaining I like to hear my sister in law's laugh so his corny jokes and his actions making our food was awesome. I do recommend people giving this place a try.

Martini was our chef, and went above and beyond. The food was well seasoned, and he was entertaining. He has become my new favorite chef. Leah was our server and she was very attentive. She keep the drink coming and was on top of everything. The service was great, the place was clean. We'll definitely be back!

First time dining at Benihana for dinner and it was exquisite. The lounge/bar area gave a taste of nightlife experience, in an atmospheric Japanese style. Our waitress Meagan was such a doll. She suggested we try the "Lemon Drop" and it was so yummy. The sugar rim was perfect and not messy at all. Meagan provided superb service all night, great waitress! For entrees we had YAKISOBA chicken and added shrimp and lobster. We also had the BENIHANA TRIO add lobster. Talk about mouth dropping! Everything came out perfect to order. The food was full or color, crisp, and hot! My steak was cooked to perfection! This location knows fine dinning experience owe too well. I couldn't get enough of my crunchy hibachi veggies. I kept dipping them into the ginger and mustard sauces. The manager Jose made sure the restaurant was operating smoothly and even suggested we try the "yum yum sauce. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better, it DID! The sauce was a game changer for my shrimp and rice. Perfect touch to ending a great night. We had such a wonderful first experience. Can't wait to dine again and venture more with other menu options. Thanks again Jose. Great establishment!

BENIHANA CONROE..I love Japanese restaurants and hibachi cooking, and to my surprise, my recent visit to Benihana, Conroe Texas location, was my FIRST visit to any Benihana restaurant. While I've heard of Benihana, and their great reputation, this was my first time as a customer, since this location is closer to my home. I went Sunday, with my daughter, to celebrate my birthday. We went shopping first, and I was concerned, because we went mid-afternoon, which can sometimes, be a less desirable time, to visit any restaurant, for good service and food. WOW! I was happily mistaken! The host greated is immediately upon arrival, and offered seating in both the lounge, along with the hibachi service. It was important to me to experience their hibachi table service, and we were not disappointed! Joseph was our server. He was spot on everything. Drinks were brought quickly and refilled often. He took away unnecessary plates, and even offered to-go containers early, for salad and soup, when he sensed our needs, and we were saving room for the main course. We ordered the Lotus Sushi Roll as an appetizer. My daughter loves crab puffs, and it was a sushi roll, with crab and cream cheese with lotus crisps on top. So incredible! Next, we both decided on the land and sea specialty dinner. Our hibachi chef, was Jack. He was awesome! He engaged us, and the family sitting beside us with the young child. He made us laugh, and we were very impressed with his skills, especially since he mentioned that he was one of their newer chefs. I took many photos and videos and also just decided to sit and enjoy his presentation. I've seen other hibachi chef presentations, and although Jake replicated a few of the "traditional" moves, he added his own unique personality style, that made it be and fresh and entertaining. Entertaining aside, Jack also cooked all of our food to perfection. The steak filet, and scallops were both melt in your mouth tender. We requested noodles instead of rice and he offered a few cooking options, and the udon noodles were a highlight accompaniment. I also noted that he cooked our zucchini perfectly al dente, which is a deal breaker for myself. The manager, Kelly Martinez, visited our table several times, including to take a photo of my adult daughter and myself, that I will forever treasure. As a preschool teacher myself, it warned my heart to see him spend extra time with the family next to us, to make them, and their young preschool aged daughter feel extra special and valued, as well. I'll close with a big comment. This was the BEST Japanese hibachi meal and experience, that I've EVER experienced ANYWHERE! I'm sold on Benihana! Thank you to the entire staff, for making my birthday so very special and memorable! P.S. The ladies bathroom was spotless.

Steak was raw not even cooked for 10 seconds it looks like and my sushi was the most disappointing thing I have put in my mouth

Our last dining experience was the best we have had at any Benihana. Our chef, Cory, cooked our food to perfection. Our group had chicken fried rice, filets and three seafood special that includes the scallops. The flavors were outstanding and the steaks were cooked to our request. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or enjoy their smaller lunch portions at great prices.

Wow... Seated at 6, left at 8:22, and what a disaster movie it was in between. Holiday menu says "full menu available upon request". Server refused to give it to me, while telling me she does not get paid enough to upset the manager by giving me one. I went to host stand myself and they gave me one. Ordered a bottle of sparkling Mio Sake. It came opened, half empty and flat. Waited 20 minutes before server came back to get an actual fresh non-opened one. Chef was good, but waiting an hour and a half for him to come over was way too much. Ever hear of an Asian restaurant out of rice? Yup, no rice for the whole restaurant! Hour two, still no rice. We saw one table get a couple of bowls, but none for us. We finally got our ice cream and tea...and wait for it... our rice got packed to go in a bag for us. So bad guys. You desperately need to get it together. By the way, no TP in ladies room stall either. Somewhere Rocky is looking down, and he is unhappy.

We had a great night! I had 3 kids ages 7,10,& 12 with me. Martin B. was great and attentive with the kiddos. He even did an extra volcano when asked. Our server was also amazing with my kids. Great place!

Cory (chef) and Clifford (waiter) were amazing! We had dietary restrictions and allergies at our table and they were very accommodating. Cory is a very engaging chef who kept us laughing. 10/10 recommend

Greatest food I've ever ate in my life. My man and the coolest chef Chris made the world's most delicious food and it was amazing. The food were literally sent down from the great gods of heaven to us.

The service was so quick! The server Kevin was very detailed oriented, I never had to ask for a refill or a plate to be clear. While Cory the chef was personal, flexible with request, and ensured top quality/safe food was being served. Parking is easy, lots of room if it were crowded around the plaza. Quiet in the restaurant tonight. We did have to wait a while before we were able to give our orders but that was so they could fill our table since there were two of us so I understand that. We had a lovely server named Sierra. Very attentive and working multiple parties in the room. The chef did a great job as well. Very personable and put on a good show. The food of course as always was absolutely delicious and packed full of flavor. I had the hibachi supreme which includes the chateaubriand and cold water lobster tail. The manager who was around helping was very kind and cared about the guests as well. Great location!

The steak, shrimp, and scallops were good, though the steak was cooked more than medium rare. The fried rice was delicious. Everything else was ok.

Honestly disappointed. I've heard great things about this place and it couldn't be farther from our expericnce. The inside was really nice but the food and service was mediocre at best. We got the pork dumplings and they came out literally cold. Not even slightly warm. We sent them back and got another order that were hot and we're really good. I got hibachi chicken and fried rice and both were incredibly dry. We normally love hibachi and have been to many places so we had high expectations and were greatly disappointed. We will never be going back.

This was the absolute perfect way to spend Thanksgiving!! We laughed and ate and were merry!!! A-Aron (also known as Aaron) was the BEST chef we have ever had at any restaurant EVER!! Hands down! He was so entertaining, talented and the food was delicious!! Could not ask for anything more! When we come back we'll be calling to see when he is working! Makenzie took such good care of us! She went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, had refills and helped us make food and drink decisions when we had questions! We ended up here on a whim but are already planning our next trip! Thank you all so much! It was a special day for all of us!

Rough start as fried rice is not included, its an extra charge of about $7, & our waitress seemed frustrated with our menu questions. Our chef, Jorge, gave a great show! He was Awesome, turned the energy around. Our waitress ended up having a better attitude making the experience pleasant. Not sure if we would return due to the pricing, but we did receive a $20 coupon so maybe we would give it another try. The manager checked in & was friendly.

Enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing. Everything was *chef's kiss* Also, my cousin was super excited that they gave her some extra garlic butter to take home with her leftovers.

The manager was accommodating to our meal and allowed us to sub out our veggies for double rice with no hassle. He also took a "memory picture" and printed it out for us! We have been to Benihana before & this was the first time they took a picture & printed it out. It was such a good lunch experience today.

Ambiance is very nice and clean. Food cooked on grill was delicious. Salad had a little odd flavor. Ask for Christian to be your chef, he was very nice and entertaining. Angela was very helpful and always on top of things. It was a good family experience.

Our chef Aaron was so fun & included my & my friend's 4 year olds in the experience. He was very accommodating. We also got a complementary group pic of us all. Overall it was a great experience, we will def be going back.
