Short wait to the table. Waited 15 min to place order. The 8 people we had at the table hungry from the days travel. Then melody appeared and what a great personality and waitress she’s a totally awesome. Took the orders and in five minutes the soup appeared and then the salad appeared and Then chef Billy. He was great. Funny talented and great attitude we really enjoyed his cooking and unlike other reviews we all agreed that chef Billy and our waitress Melody were top shelf and well worth the wait here. Awesome. Thank you.

OMG! Love it!! The service is excellent, very courteous, the hibachi experience is amazing, from the moment I entered to the restaurant they are very nice, friendly and attentive! From the host and the bartender and the manager gave me the best service!! I ended with a foto by the house!! I wish the place I lived had a Benihana restaurant! When I come back to Orlando, Florida again this restaurant is in my amazing restaurant list! Hope this review helps others ! 😉😊

⭐ 1 out of 5 stars Benihana – I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this experience. Even though we got seated right away, we still had to wait around 5–10 minutes before anyone came to our table, and that was already disappointing. The tables around us were dirty, the busboy never cleaned them, and one table stayed covered in dirty plates the entire time we were there. For a place like Benihana, that’s unacceptable. It made the whole restaurant look neglected and poorly managed. Now, let’s talk about the bartenders — a guy and a girl. Both were friendly, sure, but they had no idea how to take care of customers. The girl took our order without writing anything down, which sounds impressive until you realize she forgot half of what we asked for. I had to remind her multiple times, and it just made everything frustrating. For a restaurant charging premium prices, that kind of service shouldn’t happen. The worst part? The lack of professionalism. Employees were horsing around and talking loudly while customers were still sitting at their tables. The bartender didn’t even use a tray when bringing out food — he carried hot bowls with his bare hands, spilling them on the table in the process. It was not only careless but also unsanitary. You could clearly tell they were rushing, probably because it was close to closing time, but if that’s the case, just be upfront and say you’re closing instead of serving customers half-heartedly. The management clearly wasn’t paying attention to anything. No one walked around to check the tables, notice the mess, or make sure customers were being taken care of. It honestly felt like no one cared — not about the guests, not about cleanliness, and not about maintaining Benihana’s standards. For the amount they charge, I expected professionalism, good service, and at least decent food. Instead, I got the complete opposite. The food was bland and rushed. It didn’t taste like what you’d expect from Benihana at all. It was like the chef didn’t even bother using seasoning — no salt, no flavor, nothing. Everything came out too fast, like they just wanted to get it over with. And that’s not the Benihana experience I’ve had before or what anyone paying a high bill deserves. The prices, though? Still top-tier. That’s the only thing they managed to keep consistent — the high cost. For the price I paid, I would’ve rather gone to Popeyes or McDonald’s, where at least the service and food would’ve been better. That’s how bad this experience was. To make it worse, this was the start of our vacation — and this place completely ruined the vibe right from the beginning. When you’re looking forward to a nice dinner with family to kick off a trip, the last thing you expect is to deal with bad service, unprofessional staff, and management that doesn’t care. I won’t be coming back to this Benihana ever again. In fact, this experience was so disappointing that I won’t be going to any Benihana for a while. They need to seriously reevaluate their management, their training, and their priorities because what I experienced was beyond unacceptable. Terrible customer service. Poor management. Unprofessional staff. Bland food. Dirty tables. Overpriced everything. This location completely missed the mark on what Benihana is supposed to represent.

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted at the front and quickly seated. Our server, Kelly, was the absolute SWEETEST!! so friendly and helpful! She gave us amazing drink and sushi roll recommendations that we LOVED. Shoutout to Chef Derek!! he was incredible! The food was cooked perfectly, and he made the whole experience so entertaining. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, with everyone clearly having a great time, whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or just a night out like ours, it felt like the place to be. They even gave us a printed photo to take home as a keepsake! Such a fun and thoughtful detail. Can't wait to come back to Benihana! Thanks for the unforgettable night!

First time enjoying Benihana. Somewhat embarrassed to say I had not heard of it. Long tiring few days at our conference, it was the perfect place to unwind. The wagyu ribeye was absolutely amazing. Great food and entertainment. Loved it.

Benihana is one of those restaurants/experiences that you must try if you’re in/visiting Orlando. We were a large group so had the table (nearly) to ourselves. Chef David was fantastic. He provided a fun and friendly show while cooking dinner. The food was fresh, well cooked, and good value. The cocktails were a hit too.

Our server, Krystal, and chef, Kenzoe, were AMAZING. I came to celebrate my birthday and they made it the best experience EVER! I shall be returning for many more. I love the service and attentiveness of the staff. These two were the highlight of my year.

Yelp
We came to Orlando area looking for a good place to have dinner and we stumble upon Benihana on I-drive. We were able to get reservations quickly online and we were given a table right away all in less than 15min. The restaurant was clean and the hostess was very polite. Even, the restroom was very clean and tidy. We were then seated and our server, Crystal, came and introduced herself. She was very personable, friendly and attentive to everyone at the table. She even made sure to address my seafood allergies. After taking everyone's order she came out quickly with our drinks and shortly afterwards with everyone's appetizer. She was even kind enough to ask and take pictures of all the guests at the table to mark the special occasion. Later our chef, Chris, came and introduced himself and even accommodated some other guests last minute changes on their order. We were amazed on Crystal and Chris communication with each other as they were able to quickly address their changes without any hold up. He then started cooking and he made sure to cook mine first to address my allergies. He was very entertaining and attentive to everyone. He also was a great chef as the food was very delicious and tasty. He even got some spicy sauce for some guests that wanted it. Afterwards, he said his goodbyes and exited. We really appreciate even how Crystal made sure everyone had drinks constantly and even asked if anyone wanted desserts (which we couldn't as we were more stuffed than a turkey on Thanksgiving). All in all, we had a great time and we really appreciate Chris and Crystal efforts to make everyone at the table have an incredible and memorable time.

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday celebration, we chose to sit in the lounge area for the $39.00 dinner deal as it was only good in the bar lounge area. The service was good they came up to us within 5 minutes of us sitting down, he took out drink order first then the appetizer selection. The soup and salad they forgot to bring us but gave it to us at the end. I got the hibachi steak medium but he had entered it medium well which wasn't a big deal, I felt like the portion of the steak we had gotten less then if we had sat at the hibachi grill. I would go back for the happy hour or if friends wanted to go.

Yelp
Since when do you have to pay extra for fried rice? It has always came with the meal. I've never seen that before in all the years I've ate here. It used to cost half the money on most of their meals as well...sadly I won't be back. Bye Benihana! We came super early were sat right behind the hostess...plenty of other tables in there. Not the best ambiance. The food was ok, service was ok. But those prices are crazy high...especially when there are other places just like it with better deals.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for her birthday and I can honestly say the delivery service I had was much better than the in-person experience. Even with a reservation, the restaurant was running behind and unable to let us know how long the wait would be--we opted to forgo the actual hibachi experience and sat at a regular table instead. Fair warning if you're coming here on the weekend, the "waiting area" extends from a packed indoor area all the way outside which made it super hard to maneuver and staff did not attempt to direct any of the waiting traffic to prevent people from cutting each other in the line causing some tensions between guests. Although our server was nice, after serving us he disappeared and began restocking the bar and chatting with his coworkers. We literally tried waving him down for half an hour when we were ready to leave, even another family sitting at the bar noticed us doing this and they also tried getting his attention, which still was ineffective. He eventually came to our table and was able to help us settle the check. Overall, for the price the food was very mediocre and honestly based on the service experience I would recommend people go to Kobe instead as you would get much better service and better portion sizes for what you pay for at Benihana.

Yelp
If you're hitting up Benihana for their happy hour, do not sleep on the wings. I wasn't expecting much--after all, it's a Japanese steakhouse, not a sports bar--but these wings seriously surprised me. First off, they come out hot, crispy, and perfectly sauced. The glaze has that addictive sweet-and-savory combo, with just a hint of heat that creeps up without overwhelming your taste buds. It's got that sticky texture that makes you want to lick your fingers (don't judge me), but still light enough to crush a few without feeling weighed down. Portion-wise, they're generous for a happy hour item--definitely more than a few bites, and at the price, $12 it's a steal. Pair them with one of their discounted cocktails or a sake, and you're set.

Yelp
Ribeye was delicious, salad waa fresh & tasty, soup was ok, Chicken fried rice was good, but NEVER seen extra charge for. rice! Our first & last time! We didn't know we were having a $200 dinner when we walked in - with our free green tea! Costs too much! Oliver was excellent! Try making a living, not a killing!

Yelp
The wait was about 20 mins from when I made reservations. Super loud table by us, couldn't hear the waitress. Asked for water and the waitress said bottle, no lady regular water. Was she playing? I didn't care for the food. The rice was overcooked and bland. They ended up comping the bill. I probably will not be back.

Yelp
Had lunch with my cousins for our last day in Florida. It was the end of the service so the restaurant was empty but service from the chef was quick. Our other server was not as attentive and on the slower side however she was still sweet. Lunch time is great at the end because it's quieter and you can focus on what's in front of you instead of all the hustle and bustle of noises around you. Chef Le-N did a great job making jokes and providing accommodations for food requests. Definitely recommend coming around 2:15 if you're looking for a quieter experience on a weekday.

Yelp
What a disappointment :( First dinner out in 2025 was a BUST!! We just moved here a month ago, and money has been tight- but tonight, we decided to treat ourselves, and go to Benihana's for our Valentines dinner. My vibe leaving this place, was that I flushed $200 down the toilet. I had a reservation booked a week in advance. I arrived on time, and was told I would have to wait 30 minutes for a seat at the tables with the cook tops. OK, so I sat in the bar area so we could be seated right away. We were seated at a table with no napkins. I asked for napkins and was handed a stack of paper ones (every other table had cloth napkins). My $56 plate of steak, shrimp and chicken was bland and overcooked. The chicken literally had no flavor and my medium rare steak was cooked all the way through. The rice doesn't even come with your dinner.....no, that's another $7.50 (bringing my total to $63.50) never in my life have I been to a Japanese Steakhouse and not been given rice with my meal. And I have to say, the rice lacked any real flavor and it was dry. It truly was the most disappointing, sad, expensive plate of food. In addition, my mixed drink was $18. (Bringing my personal meals Total to a whopping $81.50) What was nice, was that my meal came with a free dessert! Yay! I was so excited to try the Green Tea ice cream! The waitress came out and handed me some sherbert and apologized for not having any. That was the cherry on top! I literally wanted to puke when the bill came out and I saw how much it was. Long story short- find another Japanese Steakhouse. All I had to do, was look on Yelp and I would have seen all the bad reviews of this place. I'm mad at myself, because I'm a Yelper and I know better!!! And I have to throw in that my waitress was very nice. I have no beef with her!! On the receipt it says her name was AJ.

Yelp
Been to Benihana before. That night we were a party of 9 celebrating a graduation. Our server was pleasant and engaging. Our chef has cooked for my friends before and remembered them. He was funny and entertaining. He even teased me when I asked for light onions by hinting that I must have a date later that night. The ambiance was on point. The restaurant was crowded. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long for the table. I wish they had more parking spaces. Some cars even parallel parked on one side towards the rear of the building. If there are no spaces available, parking is available across the street. Be careful where you parked so you don't get towed.

Yelp
Okay a lot has changed in 1 year. Waitress had zero effs so when I told her that I couldn't have gluten she was basically "meh" and didn't note it. Apparently there's gluten in either the soup or the salad because I'm NOW paying the price for her indifference by being quite sick. I made a 2.5 hour RT drive to celebrate there. It became a 2 hour drive home because I was so violently ill. Not food poisoning; if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity you know what it is and feels like. My body had to purge the poison; it was like I was digesting glass. The pain will last for DAYS. Our chef was from Vietnam and incredibly entertaining but he was perturbed to find out that I wasn't supposed to have gluten. He looked at his papers and said "it's not on there". He went back to the kitchen to get the correct items to not kill me. I survived dinner and enjoyed his amazing knife work. Then when the check came she forgot the $30 birthday coupon. She was so mad that I called her out I said, "excuse me I had a coupon for my birthday". Again, meh. She finally came back with the check corrected but she wasn't happy. They never came to the table singing happy birthday to me or another party having a birthday. The other party gave up and left. Now I know that may seem rather childish but when you live alone it's nice to have somebody celebrate you. The fact I had basically made a pilgrimage to go there made it all the more insulting. I won't come back to this location again. I really liked our chef but our server, I guess you could say I'm feeling "meh" toward her too.

Yelp
We are locals to Florida on a stay cation across the street at the Sheraton Vistana. Kids were in the mood for Hibachi. Definitely call ahead for reservations and expect a little wait. It was a busy night, however our chef Tito and waiter Lorenzo were more than attentive to our busy table. Thank you Lorenzo! Some of us ordered sushi, some of us ordered hibachi! Thank you for making our staycation memorable. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

Yelp
Very typical Japanese teppanyaki/hibachi place. The food was in general tasty, but nothing special. The fillet Mignon was cooked pretty well and was tender, and the fried rice is a must get. The soup was pretty salty though, and some of the appetizers (the crispy rice) were not that great. Like all typical teppanyaki places, the main draw was the showmanship of the chef, who cooks your food right in front of you. Our chef was pretty funny and had good jokes, and the food he made was not too bad. However, he seemed to be too focused on his jokes and was pretty forgetful in terms of serving the food we ordered. He managed to forget the appetizer for one person, some seafood in a seafood stir fry dish for another, and almost forgot about the entree of someone else, all in the span of thirty minutes. We felt that we had to constantly remind him of our dishes. I think a part of it was also the kitchen prep, where they maybe did not provide sufficient amounts in the first place for all the guests. In general, a good experience, but unlikely to come back again due to the poor service.

Yelp
Benihana was a vibe. Melady was amazing she took care of me and my 3 friends to a perfect T. The food was far less greasy and heavy than Kobe. I suggest the 39$ special for lunch!

Yelp
This was my first time at Benihana and I must say this experience could have been better. It began at the time of arrival. My goddaughter called and made a reservation here for her birthday. The reservation was at 9:00 pm but our party was not seated until after 10:00 pm. To make matters worse they advised the entire party was not seated together. Now the food... blah.. it could have been better. The soup smelled burnt and the taste was NOT good. They only had ginger dressing. We were not asked did we want ginger. Therefore 6 salads were thrown away. Such a waste. The price was expensive. $50.00 for shrimp, vegetables and rice is pricey! The other thing that caught me by surprise was the way they cleaned the restaurant. When cleaning the tables they would push the food on the floor. Instead of sweeping it up. Im not sure if it was because of the time but most restaurants will clean the entire area that I visit.

Yelp
Here is another 1-star review that should be a 0-star review. We decided to try Benihana again, but were let down again--same restaurant but different location. Let's start with the parking lot size. It is nowhere near big enough for the restaurant's occupancy. Secondly, we made a reservation and got a text 20 minutes before our reservation saying our table was ready. We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation, and they told us that they would seat us when they were ready, and our table was given away to a party with no reservation. Thirty minutes went by, and we went back up to the hostess and checked in, and we were turned away. It was not until we went to the hostess stand and waited until we were given a table. After we are seated, they ask us if we have any allergies, and we say that a member of our party has a severe gluten allergy. The waitress writes that down and says they will let the chef know. First thing they bring out is the miso soup, which has deep-fried onions. The member in our party starts eating the soup and feels something that feels like it was deep-fried and spits it out, sees that it's a deep-fried onion. They begin mixing the soup and see more deep-fried onions. They immediately go to the bathroom and start throwing up. Our waitress comes over and asks if everything is okay. We tell her what happened, and she takes the soup away. The chef comes out, gets ready to start cooking, and sees that something is wrong. He asks us what is wrong, we tell him what happened, and he gets the manager. The manager comes over and asks us if there is anything they can do or if they can make some food in the back for us. We replied no because anything they try to eat will get thrown up shortly after. They continued to ask us if they could cook us something else. They comp our members' meal for the food they never ate. The manager was also very rude, did not listen to us or our concerns, and just continued to yell over us and never let us talk. Needless to say, we will never be eating at this restaurant ever again.

Yelp
We arrived at 6:03 for our 6pm reservation and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. At 6:55 we were seated. The restaurant looked like it was under construction due to water leaking from the sealing and an air vac playing air conditioner. The restrooms were also dirty. The food was subpar. The edamame had no flavor or spicy at all. The hibachi salmon portion was small and the avocado sauce also had no taste or way of enhancing the non seasoned salmon. The fried rice was an up charge so we opted for plain white. I also only received noodles because I ordered the salmon. The prices don't match up to the expectation on portion size or flavors. Honestly wouldn't come back even if the meal was free. Even took my food to go so I can enhance it at home and the box melted even though my food wasn't even hot anymore.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a graduation. Perhaps the mistake was that we made a reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. Parking was quite the challenge as well It was too crowded! Walking / Standing space was near non existent at the entrance all the way to the check in desk. It was like being in the middle of a theme park in the high season! The noise level prevented any decent conversation with one another unless we yelled. We had deja vu of the clubbing we did in college. Except we were competing with crowd noise decibels instead of music. We didn't get seated till an hour + after our reservation time. By then, we were mostly hangry and our patience was hanging by a thread (like everyone else waiting to be called) I told myself that they must have been terribly short staffed . The vibe just seemed so confusing. Every table was taken. Every seat at the bar was occupied by patrons waiting to get seated. Unfortunately, my review may be heavily biased because of this situation. We tried to enjoy the food and take note of the helpfulness of the staff. It was so hard to be objective when you're finally eating 2 hours after your reservation was supposed to start. So I couldn't fully enjoy the Teppanyaki Show. The family sitting with us seemed even more hard pressed to be entertained. Our chef was really good and the food was ok but not enough to merit a bill of nearly $300 with tip. We'd like to try again. MAYBE. At least we know never on a Friday or Saturday night. Honestly, after our experience there, we'd rather pay to be at Epcot to partake in traditional Teppanyaki in Japan where a strict reservation system is upheld.

Yelp
I had a very good meal called Ocean Treasure. My favorite shellfish shrimp scallops and lobster. With Udon noodles. Chef Le N was funny and cooked a good meal. Will love to go back when I get back to Texas.

Yelp
Took my grandparents to Benihana for their marriage anniversary, and it was a memorable experience! While my grandfather wasn't a fan of the flavors, my grandmother absolutely loved it and ended up eating his food as well. The service was excellent, and the teppanyaki show was top tier. To top it off, the staff sang to them and gave them a free dessert after our lunch, making the celebration even more special. Overall, a great place for celebrations with delightful food and entertaining service!

Yelp
Had an 8:45 reservation and did not get seated till 9:30. Then when the chef came to prepare our food he lacked experience and was only focused on cooking our food not the experience expected with two teenage boys looking to see some excitement. The food lacked flavor and that is really sad due to all the garlic butter they put on everything. Lastly, witnessing the manager interacting with customers you should be embarrassed with entrusting him to grow the business. Very abrasive and rude to customers, who rightly should have when reservation times are not met. Leaving at 10:45p and seeing people just being seated the scheduling of reservations needs to be reviewed or hire more chefs. Poorly ran restaurants and will not return.

Yelp
This spot is great for groups. I love the show you get when the chef is cooking up your meals. The staff are so amazingly friendly and although the lunch memu seems very abbreviated, it is actually pretty good. I will say this. There is SO much food you can feed a couple of people or save the left overs for extra meals. You will not regret eating it a 2nd and 3rd time. SIMPLY GREAT!!!

Yelp
Benihana is a nice place to hang out with friends and family; they serve good alcoholic beverages and nice meals. The chef is highly engaging, which results in an excellent customer experience. I recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid excessive wait times. Overall, a fantastic experience with tasty food for a reasonable price.

Yelp
Horrible. They sit you soooo close to others it's not comfortable. They let the kid next to push cart grab lemons and stuff off it with his nasty hands that he had been wiping his snotty nose with. Steak was the worst steak I have EVER been served at a hibachi and we frequent them weekly!!! Never have had to pay extra for friend rice that always been part of the experience!!!! We will never come back and will warn others. Only thing good was our waitress she was AWESOME!!!

Yelp
My family came here for our yearly tradition of Benihana's for my birthday (on Christmas). In the years past, we've waited upwards of 1.5 hours behind our reservation time so we thought we were getting ahead by making a 4pm dinner reservation. Big mistake!!! We showed up at 3:30 hoping to be sat before or at our reservation time - we weren't sat until 4:40pm. They said they were short staffed for chefs - the management should have staffed properly to take call-ins or just not open during this holiday. Next year, we'll be making lunch reservations so this doesn't happen again. This is the reason I won't give a 5-star review for my visit. Let's talk about the good - the server Melanie and the chef Bao! Melanie was extremely friendly and immediately apologized for our wait (wasn't her fault) and told us she would be keeping us updated on how close on the list the chef was to coming to our table. Bao was our chef and was SO funny and a great cook. I've had Kenzo-San before and he's been my favorite, but Bao really is top-tier. He gave a great show and included everyone at the table while he was cooking. He was very personable and the food tasted delicious. He mentioned my birthday during the show several times which made me feel really special - considering my birthday falls on the Christmas holiday, it didn't feel forgotten! The other servers were too busy to come sing happy birthday, but Melanie still sang and got our table to sing to me with a candle in ice cream - that made me feel special. I was really happy with her service, she was probably one of the best servers I've had at the location and we've been coming for years. I would recommend coming to this location, but be prepared for a wait and keep your fingers crossed you get a great server and chef like we did!

Yelp
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent dining experience. My family and I had a truly horrible experience that I feel compelled to share. Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait over 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, our troubles continued as we waited another 30 minutes before our food even began to be prepared. When the food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best and, frankly, seriously overpriced. The presentation was lackluster, and to add insult to injury, essential components of my meal, such as the rice and mushrooms, were missing entirely. The rice that was provided was only provided right at the end of the meal. The service was equally disappointing. Our server, while initially attentive to our dietary restrictions, ultimately only partially fulfilled our requests. Furthermore, at the end of the meal, the server presented us with the bill and then stood there, rather pushily, awaiting our gratuity selection. This felt particularly inappropriate given the poor service we had received. Overall, this dining experience will go down as one of my biggest regrets and most wasteful spending experiences of my life. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and take steps to improve the quality of your food and service.

Yelp
Great service. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. It was our first time trying Benihana and it definitely didn't disappoint. Service was great, the chef was really funny as well. Went with 2 kids and they also loved and enjoyed the show. The food was delicious! It can be a bit pricey but the lunch menu (3 course meal) is definitely cheaper than the dinner menu (5 course meal). Definitely a fun place would definitely recommend!

Yelp
The service was incredible. I loved the way our server entertained us with his many tricks, great personality and presentation; outstanding. The food - oh the food. It was wonderful and very tasty. I enjoy coming here. I would definitely recommend others to come and experience what we did. They are very accommodating, very friendly and it's a great family place. Thank you, Benihana's for giving us such a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I have always wanted to try Benihana's. I've seen them in Hawaii and other states but never had the opportunity. We made reservations for my son's 16th birthday on a Saturday evening. We knew they'd be pretty crowded but it was ridiculously so. They were way overbooked and people were waiting everywhere. We drove around for at least 20 minutes just trying to find parking. The lot is too small for the restaurant. When we went inside to check in we were told it would be a few although we had a reservation. The guy at the front asked if there was any special occasion and I asked if he could see my comment on the reservation because it was a surprise for them to sing. He said no and I had to tell him it was my son's birthday. Surprise gone. We waited about 15 minutes past the reservation time and were finally seated. The lady took our drink and our food orders. Then, we sat and waited and waited and waited. Finally our Chef came out. He was friendly and funny but was having a hard time seeing, squinting the entire time. He said it was too hot to wear his readers. Food was very bland and the place was a mess. Our waitress was nowhere to be found for quite a while then came later. The restaurant was not organized or able to efficiently handle the amount of people they had and still produce a quality meal.

Yelp
Portion sizes were extremely small. Ordered & Got the trio (shrimp, filet mignon & chicken) wait was long! Grill didn't seem to be cleaned properly prior to arrival. Left hungry. Not recommended. The only reason im giving 2 stars is because I haven't died from food poisoning. Although the chef was a nice person, doesn't matter how nice he is when I'm paying 60$ + a plate I should leave on a full stomach. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant, it's a complete tourist trap. Kobe's atleast gives noodles with their meals & is more of a fair priced restaurant. Sakura is our local hibachi & I always leave full from there. I believe if a plate costs between 50-60$ we are not only buying an experience but also a great tasting meal that is worth not feeling hungry on the ride home.

Yelp
Honestly, I'm still in shock! A Benihana's that seats you on time, offers great service and the food was good! Couldn't believe! It was very spacious and seemed like a newer location. Tiffany was awesome! She checked on us, had the appetizers out quick and kept our glasses full. Definitely recommend this location!

Yelp
The food is soooo good! The seafood was awesome. The service is fun and the hibachi chef is funny and professional. The atmosphere is the best with hibachi! The price though. That was a bummer. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Our servers, Jasmine and the young man with her were great! So attentive and accommodating.... And very nice. Our chef was Macho, and he was fantastic. Our table of six had one with allergies, along with several with different requests with their order. Macho was spot on in getting everyone's order done just right. He was very entertaining and cooked everything perfectly. The only one thing I would request next time would be to cut back on the salt.

Yelp
The server Will was absolutely horrible. Had a poor attitude and it was very apparent he did not want to be working. He was rude off the rip. The chef was great however the food was very average. I had a birthday coupon they sent me, it supposedly "did not work on Friday nights" however did not say it anywhere on the email from Benihana corporate. The manager came over and said it was a corporate problem and not their problem. Stay as far away from this place as you can.

Yelp
Been to Benihana all across the country and their other location in Orlando. This was just okay. The food was as expected but the chef was a bit lackluster. We had a great server but overall it was weak. We also got sat 15 minutes after our reservation and we showed up early.

Yelp
The food was cooked fresh and delicious. Excellent service, attentive and professional. The atmosphere was a family vibe featuring hibachi grill tables and an excellent bar.

Yelp
Visited this location to celebrate my friend Birthday but I'm vegan! But they were very accommodating! Not only did they have vegan options on the menu but they made sure to Cook my food first so there would not be any cross contamination!! Kenny was our hibachi Chef and he was very entertaining and funny!

Yelp
Made reservations for 8p on a Thursday. There was a girl in heels in and shiny stuff dropping the f bomb in front of the children. Not sure why she was upset. The family that came out not long after said something about carding someone. Thats my gossip for the review. Anywho, we had the espresso martini, blue ocean, filet, shrimp, lobster, scallops and chicken. Food wasn't too salty. The vegetables consists of zucchini and onions. The drink refills were slightly lacking. Our table had someone celebrating a Birthday and they gave her a hat and sang to her so that was fun. Overall it was entertaining.

Yelp
Went for dinner last night with the family. We went to celebrate two birthdays and back to school. They always do a great job acknowledging celebrations. When we pulled up there was no parking. Drove around for about 15 mins we were almost late for our reservation. Definitely need a bigger lot. We noticed they had an A/C machine hooked up to the place uh oh! I'm this Florida heat right now no a/c would be a nightmare. When we walked in you could see giant white piping for the a/c. It did feel cooler in there than outside so we decided to stay. The host that sat us was full of positive energy It took about 45 mins from the time we sat to the time we got our beverages (none of which where from the bar just ice tea and lemonade.). Our server came to the table after we had been sitting there for about 20 mins. He had someone with him and apologized because he is training. He was super nice but everything took for ever to come out to us. Towards the end of the meal he checked on us more but the first 90 mins not great. The chef was fantastic as always. The good was amazing we ate every last drop which is odd since we usually always have left over. It was that good we couldn't stop. Prices have gotten ridicules. 6.50 to upgrade to fried rice per person! My son is vegetarian and there are no veg children's meals. So we ordered him a side of noodles, corn and edamame. I gave him my salad. 5.90 side of noodles, (noodles with nothing on them but soy sauce) edamame 8.10 corn was a little under $5. The reason I gave him my salad is because it would have been $6 to add one on. Sorry but this is ridicules. I have no problem paying high prices but they have gotten out of control. My other son had the children's hibachi chicken which was $21. About the same total price. His came with soup or salad? Shrimp app, corn, steamed rice and ice cream. Much better deal. We did pay an addition $6.60 for him to have fried rice. I thought their used to be just an up hates for it but I could be wrong. We love coming here for lunch. Much better value. Oh and back to the air. So by the time we left we where all dripping in sweat which is disgusting while eating indoors. Not sure how the chefs and servers are making it through a day without feeling sick. Of course we will return because we have been going to Benihana since I was a child in Chicago and it's a huge tradition in our family but we will stick to lunch and if we see the A/C machine we will mot be dining there.

Yelp
Ordered UberEats from this location. We ordered the Benihana Special & Benihana Delight. Unlike when you order in the restaurant, it was delivered with only the meat. No sides, just protein. When we contacted customer service they said that's how it comes when you get it delivered. Mind you, we paid $49 and $62 for each meal to not even get a side of rice. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Monday evening we made a resveration for a party of 8. Everything was booked. We arrived at the location we called, once in there. The hostess mentioned: "We are backed up as it is, you're better off going to the other location." As a customer I failed in asking her, her name. (Short female with long black hair. I asked all I got was "she might be new.") I was totally upset. Once again, I called the same location and spoke with Melissa. I did apologize before hand, because I didn't want her to think/assume I was being rude or disrespectful (which I didn't). I explained how upset I was. How is it possible for an employee to blur those unprofessional words? If the employee was new, she should've been professional and said: "Give me a moment and let me verify. At the moment the wait is ____. Let me see if someone can pull up your reservation." Not just dismiss a customer. I am sorry, if a manger sees this or corporate please retrain your employees who do not have interpersonal skills as well as professional customer services skills. Just by that, I can imagine how the night would've been. Just by that I give them a 0.

Yelp
A fun experience! If you're looking for a nice teppanyaki experience, Benihana delivers. We made a reservation for 6pm and were seated in a timely manner. Our waitress, Tatiana, was very friendly and did a great job. There were moments where there was a lull in service, but I didn't know if that was just due to a lag in the kitchen or something else. There were three birthdays at our table and Tatiana sang for us in both English and Japanese. Food-wise, everything was perfect. We ordered the 6-course specials -- a Splash 'n Meadow and a Deluxe Treat. Chef Joseph was phenomenal, a true chef. Of course, he gave us the typical hibachi jokes and performances, but the food was the star of the show. Everything he cooked was done to perfection and tasted great. I'm generally pretty picky with my meats, but my filet mignon was cooked exactly medium well and my lobster was tender and flavorful. I feel like it's easy to overcook these proteins during teppanyaki, but he executed it nicely. Ambiance was as well! You can definitely tell why Benihana is such an iconic brand in the Japanese-American teppanyaki scene. The inside was nicely decorated and ventilated. You can definitely tell they put a lot of thought into their interior design and it was one of the nicer hibachi restaurants we went to. Overall, I recommend Benihana if you're looking to come for a fun dining experience. It's a little pricey, but the quality of the food is nice and the service is great.

Yelp
All the rave about this place brought me here and I was not impressed. After checking in for our reservations it took an hour to get a table. While sitting at the bar Monica made us some drinks which were phenomenal: top shelf Long Island and haiku colada.

Yelp
So I was always cuirous to try the originator. The Good The Food was well prepared and tasty, portions were decent not overdone. Many options to choose from on the Hibachie Grill Nice atmosphere The Not so good Waitress could have been more attentive on refills and clean out the dishes Cook was a nice guy but very mellow, not much of a show. No many stand alone side options If you want to mix proteins you mostly going to go into the 6 course special section which of course is more expensive but cheaper than say adding shrimp to a steak dish. The Bad Your meal comes with white rice only, if you want fried rice or noodles its an upcharge the Fried rice was 7.50. Most Places we frequent include noodles and fried rice. I know this is a well known name in a tourist town but the prices were up there. I typically can do Hibachi dinners for around 150-175 with the tip. This meal with no extras was 252 before tip. Way over priced for what you get. I would say this is not a place I would go back to I will look for more reasonable options.

Yelp
We had a birthday reservation for 19 ppl at 8:30, when we got there they told us another 35 mins. Fine. We waited for 30 mins and asked if we we were close to being seated.... They told us another 45 mins to an hour... we call another Benihana they was close and they said they could get of in at 9:20. We rushed over there in traffic with 3 vehicles. 1 vehicle was slower with older members of the party and they said they could seat us til all members were here. So by the time they had there walkers on the long walk up. They told us that they have 2 party ahead of us... and it was another 45 min wait...! We left and found a burger and chicken fast food place. Nice birthday
